My husband and I went for dinner last night 8/14/16. We had a 8:30 reservation under Rinaldi. The adventure started where I sat 20 minutes with a watery glass of tea with NO ONE offering a refill. I ordered a 16 oz rib-eye cooked medium well. The waiter Charlie served it to me burnt. I told him it appeared burnt and he said it was crisp. The edges of the steak crumbled in your hand it was so burnt. I told him I was not eating that. We also ordered roasted brussel sprouts that you could not even cut with a fork they were so hard. A lobster tail that was so tough you could barely chew it. The manager came and said he could not believe that Charlie served that steak to me like that. My husband's steak was ok, other than swimming in grease, not juice. It definitely was grease. The waiter Charlie was non -existent during our meal. I had to ask another waiter for a refill. The manager brought my new steak to me, I cut into it and it was red, at that point I was done. I told the waiter the meal was horrible. He said nothing and walked away. I was so very glad that we were not celebrating an occasion. The manager came over and I explained that the food was terrible and Charlie's service was horrible. He said he would take those items off the bill. This meal was so freaking terrible and that waiter Charlie was just not there, anyway we ended up paying $63.00. The waiter Charlie came back with the receipt for my husband to sign for the payment, he laid it on the table and didn't say a single word. He sure didn't get ANY tip either. We have eaten at this restaurant in Cherokee, NC and it was amazing!! This was our most horrible restaurant experience EVER!!!

We have eaten in Richmond and Nashville but it's been some time.Went in myrtle beach and "way overpriced". You are paying for the name and not for the food.

My husband really wanted to try this based on how great his friends claimed it was. I started with the chopped salad, looked like it was made in a paper cup and carefully put on the plate, topped with, I believe, Durkee onion rings out of a can, oh, the grease. No crunch to the salad. It was limp and I really couldn't even taste the dressing. I ordered the lamb chops, bad choice. They come 3 lamb chops, which are really 6, not cut apart. Not that this matters, they were dry and so over seasoned, I couldn't even taste the lamb. My husband got the trio, a petite filet mignon, way over seasoned, could not taste the filet, like rock salt and chemicals. Get the lamb or the steak, they both taste the same, like heavy seasoning. Chicken was submerged in, groase, goat cheese - Ick, and the crab cake tasted like canned crab meat with one piece of, possibly, jumbo lump crab meat. My husband and I concur, "We get better meat at Costco and prepare it better ourselves." I believe in spending money for a good meal; however, this was not a good meal. I did wrap to take home the garlic mashed potatoes but by the time we got home, the smell was so overwhelming, they went into the trash, being picked up this morning. I would not save my money to dine here; there are much better restaurants at less expensive prices you could enjoy many times over this one. Don't spend good money for the Ruth Chris namesake. I have had better food at Outback Steakhouse where you can taste the meat.

We are locals and we have been to other Ruth Chris steakhouses. It is as nice as the others we have been to. Went for our anniversary, good food. Just be prepared to ask the server to hold the salt and pepper while cooking your steak and veggies. Had a great time and had wonderful service. We will return again.

Portions very tiny compared to the outragous cost! This is the third time at a Ruth's Chris and the last! You're paying for the name 'that's all' ! You can find a good steak at many locations within Myrtle Beach, just ask some of the locals...

Ridiculously overpriced for the quality. Filet mignon both ordered as medium rare, one came out over well done. Manager replaced the filet with another that was very rare, after the third try it was finally correct. By this time my food was cold, manager offered to "warm up" the vegetables. With one bite left of our steak, 40 minutes after the first was sent back, the server showed up with our second bottle of wine which we no longer needed as we were closer to dessert than dinner. No apology was offered. By the way this was our anniversary dinner. Asked a friend in the restaurant business to price some of the wines on Ruth's Chris list and found they are marked up 5 and 6 times the cost. Thank you for ripping people off and making them feel like you do them a favor by serving them. The arrogance, lack of service, respect and caring, is overwhelming. I'll starve to death before I ever set foot in this restaurant again.

Beautiful place to eat once in a lifetime (for my pocketbook anyway). Went for my birthday back in March and I was pleased. My spouse wasn't as impressed. The service is phenomenal. The food is okay, but you pay a huge price for it. There was so much pepper on the steak we couldn't eat it. The salad was the best part of the meal. The presentation is beautiful. The atmosphere excellent. If you have a very special occasion, I recommend it. Don't go with HUGE expectations and I don't think you'll be disappointed. Just mention or ask about the pepper.
