Review: In one word, Roz's can be described as inconsistent.
Over the years, I have been to Roz's many times and for forever I loved their food. The last couple of times I have been in there the food has been so-so. The same dishes I raved over before now have me wondering just what has happened. For example, their chicken salad will be great one day and then runny the next. As well as their pimento cheese. One day it's excellent while the next day it is completely tasteless. In my experience, Roz's cannot be counted on to ALWAYS have excellent tasting food.

Review: We have been to Roz's about a dozen times, the food would brings us back everytime until today. The food was still above average, the service and the value were well below. After standing in the doorway and watching a party of six walk out, obviously disturbed that they had been standing in the same door way and ignored for 10 minutes while numerous employees passed without even an acknowledgement or smile. Determined to enjoy lunch here once again, we stayed to be ignored for 10 more minutes, finally I asked Roz for a seat and she obliged, so we sat and waited another 15 minutes for a glass of tea, 5 more to order, two salad sampler plates ($13 each!), a childs grilled cheese, two tea's and a sprite. All of this waiting seemed especially uncalled for considering the place was litered with empty tables. Well, since last winter the portions have shrunk like the economy and the prices have kept pace with health care costs. We spent a little over $40 (once again, for 2 lunch salads and a kids meal - no appetizer, no alcohol, no dessert)including a well undeserved tip. Finally I left, feeling I should apologize for bothering the wait staff; how dare we spend 90 minutes and $40 and expect to be served. We are seasonal locals and enjoy dining out during the weeks and months that we are in the area, but looks like Roz's will be cut from our list mainly for the lack of simple courtesy. I intentionally observed the interaction of the waitress with other tables and it was definately consistant and over the top cold & short. Over the past several visits, we have noticed and discussed the rudeness of the wait staff, as it is obvioulsy contagious there - no matter, a young or older waitress, new face or one we rocognize it's the same short, hasty, rude attitude that gives the feeling that you are imposing. In summary, the food is above average, but certainly not worth the rudeness and prices. Too bad....

Review: You can't go wrong at Roz's. I usually eat lunch there but have had dinner there once and it is always great. She prepares homemade soups everyday and they are all wonderful. My husband ordered one that I didn't think I would like, I tasted it and while he talked with our server I ate most of it....you snooze you lose! I am a very picky eater but I always find something there I like. She also serves half sandwiches, if you are not a big eater. If you are in Pawleys, don't pass it up. Roz knows what she is doing. Service with a smile also.

Review: The food at Roz's is always great. I've been going there for years at it is always superb. The homemade soups, the sandwiches, apps., everything...you can't order anything bad there. The porch is so laid back and comfortable...i love it. Oh and it is priced for everyone. Great service, they have it all!

Review: This is on my to do list when I go to the beach in November. The Sampler Platter is excellent and I order it everytime. The interior is gently aged, and small but the food definately makes up for that. I go to the beach every Thanksgiving and I would not miss this treat.

Review: My husband and I ate here in the evening mid week. To our delight, all entrees were $15 and under and the food was delicious. Our dinner on the porch was relaxing, the service excellent. We will return, especially mid week, to try another selection from their very interesting menu.
