Review: Excellant meal & service. Great atmosphere, and left with a feeling that we had been somewhere else, not a beach restaurant.

Review: Not an enjoyable experience. We used to eat alot there but since Ross and now Gus are gone there is a difference in food and feel of the restaurant.Convert it to a bait and tackle shop! Maybe business will pick up!

Review: Please note that the review above that starts "As one of the last "smoking allowed " - is actually reviewing Rossi's, not Rossini's. Rossini's is not "all smoking", nor does it have a piano bar. Rossini's does.

Review: While visiting my daughter here in Myrtle Beach,we just about tried every restaurant from here to murrells inlet,Pawleys Island, ext. We passed this little place called Caruso's every day as it is around the corner from my daughters home. Last night we decided to go there. I cannot believe this place was right under our noses. I have never, in my life , had such great food. It is to die for. A totally differant taste than I ever had. Folks, you need to try this place,I'll be back many, many times.

Review: I took a very special friend there for his birthday; he's a local and informed me that Rossini's was "the real deal". He was right, as usual. The food was exceptional, the service was wonderful and the owner and his wife were lovely people. I'm so sorry that "Ross" has passed; I hope someone continues operating this excellent restaurant.

Review: As one of the last "smoking allowed anywhere" restaurants in existence, it takes a lot to get me in one. Rossini's has the "a lot" and then some!

This is a five star restaurant without question. The food is sumptuous, fresh, beautifully presented and uniquely prepared. I had the fresh catch of the day each time I went, and it was melt in my mouth delicious. The decor is lovely, the service exceptional, and the tastes sublime.

Afterwards, I even braved the smoky piano bar and heard great sounds and had fun dancing. The vocalist/pianist was adorable and a guest singer was wonderful! Though "smoke got in my eyes", I will go back each time I am able. It's so good, I risk the puffy eyes!

Review: Have been going to Rossinis for a few years, has always been great. Apparently under new management (ownership?) now since the original owner has passed away. Took a long time for our food to be served. Food was good, but not excellent as in the past. Menu selection seemed a bit sparse. Food temperature was luke-warm.The owner stopped by, told us they had a new chef. Perhaps when he gets up to speed, things will improve to the level they once were.

Waiter was kind of odd - he would stop by often enough, but after just one person ordered something, a cocktail for example, he'd run away without asking the others at the table. Took him four trips to get all of our cocktail/appetizer orders.

In the old days, the chef would send out (at no charge) a number of little appetizers, fruit plates, etc. This time the waiter brought out little melba toast things with tomatoes/onions on them. One little toast per person. The appetizers are very, very expensive and not very generously portioned. The entrees, on the other hand, are reasonably priced.

We had a party of 6, went on a Thursday night at 7pm in high-season and were seated immediately. Our tab for 4 adults, a few cocktails, two appetizers and tip (no dessert) was $167.

Review: What a wonderful treat! Finally real Italian food in the South. The tomato sauce (gravy) is NOT sweet. The salad and bread were excellent and the service was attentive but not intrusive. The two pasta dishes and meatballs we ordered were perfect. We'll be back.
