I have ordered take out numerous times. Today was the worst. They were a mess on the phone, couldn't take an order or tell me the price. Then they said they couldn't take my card because he didn't know how. Next, he began to quote different prices for the same order.
When the food was delivered, two of the orders were wrong. Also, they had charged us wrong. Since it was a card, I had to call back to have him put more money on it. He replied he didn't know how. The delivery guy just waved the extra money off. I think he was embarassed.
When I finally went to eat, there were no condiments at all. Just a couple of dry sandwiches and cold fries. It was aweful. Our resort will never order from Ron John's again. ref: 26623

The last time I was in the restaraunt, our service was HORRID! I took my 2 year old daughter and my husband in because every other time I had eaten there, the food was great. HOWEVER, I had never actually eaten in the restaraunt before.
We waited for 2 HOURS for our food. At first, no one even acknowledged us walking in. After about a half hour, my husband searched for a waitress who came over and greeted us and said our waitress would be with us in a minute. another 10-15 min went by and then our waitress finally came.
She was extremely sweet and polite and played with my daughter. She wrote our order on a napkin and left. she came back 3 or 4 times to check to see if we were sure about not wanting any alcohol with our dinner.
About another 30 minutes went by and we started really wondering where our food was. The waitress came back to our table again and said 'I'm sorry, I lost your order. Can you tell it to me one more time?' So we did. We figured we already wasted this much time here, we may as well just stay. She finally brought our food out almost exactly 2 hours after we walked through the door.
To my disappointment, ALL of my daughter's food was cold. The main dish looked like it had just come out of a refridgerator. I would suggest to get only delivery and alcohol from this place except now I have been trying for over an hour to call this place and the phone just rings and rings and rings and rings with no answer. I am sorely disappointed. I really did like the food in the last few years. This year, though, their service has plumetted. ref: 24831

I did not enjoy eating here at all. The sweet tea tasted very bitter and the service wasn't all that great. The waitress greeted everyone kindly but my girlfriend and I. This will not be a place where I will eat again. ref: 24089

We go to myrtle beach every year for 6 to 8 weeks and we eat at Ron Jons at least twice a week ,Burgers are FANTASTIC ,beer is COLD ,waitresses are great and prices are CHEAP.Had other items grouper,philly swiss,wings, fries all GREAT.Hope it never closes ref: 23600

Ron Jon's is the perfect place for a wonderful meal! The burgers,salads,pizza,shrimp,grouper,and the cheese fries are all excellent choices! On Thusday nights (during the summer)from 7:00-9:00 you can play BINGO for free and the prizes are good, I've ALWAYS had a good dining experience at Ron Jon's. If you've never eaten there,then this is the place to try. You won't be sorry! ref: 23291

I was down there in may and stumbled upon this place, I don't know how anybody could have a bad thing to say it was great, the owner actually went out of his way to make you feel welcome i,m heading back down this week and i"ll sure be stopping by there a couple nights.. ref: 21224

I have gone to ronjons a few times with my boyfriend and i was bored. All there is to do is play pool (so fun right) and drink (dont get me wrong i like to drink). Most nights i have gone they were playing hard metal music and it was full of sketchy people. I love being the only girl in the place with gross guys stareing me down...again...so fun right. I had a hot dog and a hamburger there once and it was good but nothing special. ref: 21038

My husband and I visit Ron Jons at least three times a year. If you want something quick and good they have it. We try something new everytime we go. Thier pizza and burgers are the best and a great price. Beers cheap, we get them by the buckets. The waitresses are good and even remember us when we come back after three months. Great atmosphere in the non smoking area. We are non smokers so don't go in the other area. Can even take the kids in and relax. ref: 21010

i have been going to ron jons for the past 8 years now since i have moved here to SC, it used to be my absolute favorite place to go all the girls there were super friendly and super hot . the owner was always polite and did whatever he could to keep customers happy. he really listened to what the people had to say after all theyre the ONLY reason he even had the bar.. it has recently been taken over by new owners. the guy who bought it is rude and if youre not from the north dont talk to him. he thinks hes running this place perfecty but all hes doing is running it into the ground. the only reason i go there now is to see lauren or christy. theyre the only originals left. they get me my drink before i even sit down. i love them. they listen to u if u feel like talking tell me jokes to make me laugh when im having a bad day or night. other than that it seems the owner now only hires girls to try to sleep with them. several waitresses have told me they quit working there only because of the new owner! its so sad to see a great bar go down so fast. I am a local of Myrtle Beach and live about 5 mins away from Ron Jon's. I love their steak and cheese and the food is always great but their service is lacking. Every time I go the bar staff and waiters are slow and slack. I have waited an hour for a beer before. If the food wasn's so good I would never go back! ref: 18081

This place is a great place to grab a beer and a burger in Myrtle Beach. It is in a little plaza that has a lousy bar (Magoos, complete crud) and a really good Lebanese restaurant.
Ron-Jons has a smoking and non-smoking side to the place. And I mean, seperate, sealed off with doors and a wall.
The food is low priced. even for an area that is not a tourist trap like Myrtle beach is, Ron-Jons has great prices.
A 1/3 lb burger and fries is $6.00. They have a grouper plate w/fries for $7.00. A 10 oz sirloin w/salad and potato for $9.00.
The beer is nicely priced. They have pool tables, TV's, dart board. Little tough to find if you are not familiar with the area.
If you are on 501 West, heading towards Conway, take the first exit on the right immediately after crossing over the Intracoastal Waterway. There is a little plaza down there. This is also how you get to the amusement park.
So, really easy to get to, good cheap burgers, with great fries. ref: 18064

I don't know what happened here but it seams to be on a downward spiral. The 2'nd shift bar service is the slowest I've ever experienced! (That's on the smoking side) TV volume was so loud in the bar area that it was scaring people away. I've been going to Ron Jon's for years and I hope the workers bounce back quick, 'cause this place is awsome! Still the best food and cold beers for the money! ref: 17155

"Nobody ever goes to this place- it's too crowded." (Y. Berra) It can become quite crowded, in which case you should take the bucket deal (5 for $10.) The waitresses work hard, but the crowd sometimes grows faster than they can run. Happy hour features great $2 hamburgers. At 11:00 a second happy hour starts with selected menu items at 1/2 price. There is a great 5 piece country band with a fiddle on Wednesdays. There is a smoking and non-smoking side, which is great for football on Sundays. The bands are on the smoking side. ref: 17066

My family and I just got back from MB and we ate at or from Ron'Jon's 3 times in the week wew were there. Have been eating there for at least 5 to 7 years annually and never had anything bad. they had added pizza since we were there last time and it is by far the best I have ever had. We orderd delivery of wings and pizza our first night there and was delivered in less than 25 minutes with a 3 mile drive to our condo. The night that we went there, the owner came out and talked to my daughter, both Red sox fans. Great place,you won't be sorry. Can't wait to go back. ref: 16494

I am a long time local of myrtle beach. Ron jons has been my spot since they opened in 2001. Unfortunately they have went under new ownership which has really effected the buiness. Service is beyond bad and dont plan on getting food or drinks in a timely manner. I tried to let the owner know my concern he said if you dont like it go somewhere else. I am not one to complain with me being in the resturant business myself. ref: 14772

Found this place when I moved here 2 years ago. What a hit! Great atmosphere, Awsome food, Clean, Fresh + Cold Beer, and Quick and Friendly Waiters and Bar Staff! You won't find a bad thing on this menu,It's really that good! Tried the pizza the other day and found it to be one of the better Bar Pies I've had anywhere. You just can't beat this place for a good gathering spot with a big crew or just by yourself. There's a whole other side with a bar and booths for the non-smokers too! I think Ron Jons is the best place on that side of town. They have great people working great food and cheap beer. I'm a local and Ron Jons is pretty much the only place I care for because of the people and the prices. The owner is great one time my burger was to rare and they gave me a drink while I waited for my new burger and made the next burger was cooked to perfection. Ron Jons is #1 in my book. ref: 14071

Being from Canada, it was a great treat to have gone to Myrtle beach. My boyfriend took me to this bar and i couldn't get enough. I loved it!!! The service was amazing, the girls are hot and friendly, the owner was kind and welcoming. FOOTBALL< FOOTBALL< FOOTBALL!!! There is not a bad seat in the House to watch your favorite team. Although not a big football fan, i think i can become one inthis setting.
Way to go!!! Awesome!!! See ya all next year.

This is my favorite bargain spot in south carolina. Fabulous 2 buck burgers and cheap beer (6 bud lite bucket for 10 bucks or 4 buck pitchers). Fries are excellent and the wait staff is friendly and attentive. We go out of our way to dine here, lunch or dinner. Highly recommend this place. Everyone who visits us when we're south in MB for the winter gets a mandatory visit to Ronjons! Everyone loves this place. ref: 12459

I live less, let me STRESS>>>>>less, than 2 miles away from Ron Jons, a local. I worked alll summer long, and the first night I had off, I decided to order from them( that is about 60 days of work full time, not going anywhere); I'm working from 9am to whatever per day - 11pm tp 4 am. I am lucky if in the summer I get to shower every three days. Guess what....I was called names, and hung up on from Ron Jon's. Great service, right? And all I wanted was food for me and my son. I waited, and was disconnected many times because of the area I am in, and they blamed me for that. I had to of called them 10 times for service. Because I called back, when I lost connection, I was apparantly drunk. Well, I wasn;t. Just damn tired from working and wanting food. Ron jons sucks......from a local. ref: 12270

Me and my wife visit myrtle beach every year and always stop on the way in and out at Ron Jon's. The burgers are second to none and and its always a pleasure to go there.There is always a reason to take a chance on some place new we did now it is our favorite one there in Myrtle Beach. ref: 11736

I had ordered food from them. When I got my order, there were dead bugs in my food. I called them and asked for my money back. They told me, and I quote, "there is not anything that we can do about you finding bugs in your food." I am very unsatisfied with their customer service.. ref: 10555

This is a sport bar/pool hall with some good eats ..a little too loud !!! The chicken salad with some garlic in it is the best in the area .Thier sandwich bread /rolls are weak and could stand some review .The crowd is a college students ,locals and some bikers ..The real draw @ this gin mill are the prices and the cold beer .. ref: 10148

The burgers ("Cow" or "Calf", as they call them) tie for the best on my all time bestburger list (with a place in Michigan).They are superb, the fries are great. I only had a week in Myrtle Beach otherwise I would have been there more than twice. I highly highly recommend their burgers. I only wish I knew where to find such quality and taste closer to where I live. ref: 6194

I run a golf outing for about 20 guys every year to Myrtle Beach. A couple years ago we discovered Ron Jon's. It has become our meeting place after every round of golf. Their happy hour is "classic". 30 cent wings that are the best around, $2.00 burgers, and $4.00 pitchers. Their double cheese burger is almost as good as my 7 wood from 157 yds out. Can't wait to get back next year!!!

We golf in Myrtle Beach every year and make this one of our stops at least once during the week. This is a local bar and their burgers are excellent, I get one every time so can't really comment on the other menu items. I would rate them above River City burgers and am going to try Hamburger Joes tonight.... I will provide and update then. ref: 543

I love eating the food there. The employees are wonderful. I order the same thing everyday around the same time and it is always ready by the time i get there, even if i don't call in first. I reccommend this place to everyone. ref: 537
