At first you think ... hmmm, this place sits back off the road on it's own, looks a little small and not flashy. Well, once you've been and tried the food, you will understand they do not need to be flashy! Their sandwiches are fantastic, the service is ALWAYS super friendly and with a smile. I haven't had anything there that wasn't great. Fried Oreos - make you want to melt! They have an all you can eat wings night and a burger/fry special night as well. Find this place and try it, I guarantee you'll return over and over! ref: 27269

This cute little restaurant in Murrell's Inlet may be a little hard to find but once you do you will be glad you did. The hamburgers are wonderful and made to order. My kids are picky eaters and the staff made "specialty" items that were not on the menu. The owner John is so friendly and no matter how busy he got he came out to make sure that we were happy and if we needed anything. I can't compliment this place enough. We always try to eat at the "non-chain" restaurants while on vacation and we will definately be back to Poppy's. ref: 26488
