This restaurant is THE BEST IN TOWN for a superb Italian dinner!!!!!!! My wife and I have been coming to it since August 2006 at least 2-3 times per month. We HIGHLY recommend it to any one we can. They offer a great early bird menu, a fantastic happy hour and just a top rated dining experience all the way around. We miss Holly, the outstanding bartender!! Mike, the manager is phenominal!! It is off the beaten path but well worth finding and enjoying. John and Donna Williams

This was our third or forth visit here. We started going here because we are kinda friends with the chef, Sean. Well, we went here on 11/10, and found out that he is no longer working there. The host was kinda abrupt with our inquiry of Sean, even though we explained that we were friends. He went on and on of how the new chef has 30 years experience, as if that decides good food. That didn't matter, we weren't leaving to go eat somewhere else. We were first seated by the kitchen, the main dinning room was closed for a private party. I question why restaurants have seats by the kitchen. The noise, the smells, etc... We were moved at our request. It obviously wasn't the best night to go as far as seating was concerned. Well, the menu didn't change at all, which is good. There were even more specials than I remembered previously. The food tasted fine, great actually. The only thing was there was alot of oil used. Granted, chicken parm is fried. But it was as if it was then baked in a pool of oil with the sauce and cheese. And my father got some sort of pasta primavera (sp?). I've made this at home, and perhaps it's my recipe, but I don't use oil. This was litterally a pool of oil, and whatever sauce was used. Perhaps an oil based sauce. I thought perhaps it was pesto, since that uses oil. I can't stress the OIL enough. I will continue to go back. It's a new chef, and I doubt he is the one doing the sole cooking. Perhaps he's learning, who knows. Maybe it was a bad night. That happens at even the best of places. We miss Sean, but we did find out he is going to be at the Market Common. So we will go there, and continue to go here.

We orderd our appitizer, waited over 20 minutes. The retaurant was not cowded. We finealy received our appitizer and still no bread. The waoter came over and said I forgot to take your order. We ordered our main course but the 7 guest next to us were waiting for there main dish. They already ate there ap's. we finnaly received our meal. Andrea had pasta i ordered Ckn. marsala, The sause was blnd. The chicken was over cooked. The vegies were warm not hot. The bread was delicious. I could not eat the Chicken. Did not tell the at waiter and He did not ask why I did not eat the chicken. By the way. i am a chef. My andrea is at CCU. Driving me to the Airport. When we finished the people next to us still did not get there meal. You have a beutiful restaurant Waiters need a lot of work. The bar was slow. The dinningroom was moderate. You need some help with the cook. I am not looking for anything. Just some advise. Constructive. I have been cooking for 30+ years. I am from Boston's North end. I will be there in October. Family day. We will be going out to eat. Some 6,000 Family and friends. Please call me. 617-648-6456. Your's Truly, Chef Mario

We visited for the first time in July and will definitely return next time we are in Myrtle. We had a reservation. The atmosphere was so authentic and pleasant. Our waiter (David) was both prompt and entertaining. We ordered Lasagna, alfredo, spaghetti, and a dish with lobster ( a large piece), shrimp and mussels in a sauce on pasta (this was to die for!!). The general manager (Mike) came to talk to us and see if we needed anything (he is a personal friend of ours). We really think that the prices are very reasonable and the portions are large.

I agree with all of the good reviews. I just moved to Myrtle Beach, and found this restaurant last Saturday, and tried it for an early dinner. WHAT A FIND. It is off the main strip, and just a few blocks south of 501. I liked everything about the place. It was sparkling clean, beautifully decorated, and the food and service were wonderful. I will be taking all of my visitors there for a meal, and I also plan to be a regular customer. Try it, you will be very pleased!

My fiancee and I are locals and this is our favorite place to eat! The food is amazing, with a great variety on the menu without being overpriced! The service is also very good, and the atmosphere is very cozy and romantic! Definetely a great place for both locals and those visiting!

As I was part of a very large party, we ordered most of everything they sereved. Having sampled each item, I found the food to be high quality and very well prepared. In the appetizers, I thought the calamari was the best I have eaten.

Pomodoro's is a wonderful restaurant. The atmosphere was lovely, the food was delicious, and the service was cheerful and prompt. We loved the brick work on the inside of the restaurant which was designed by the owner himself. It is very tastefully done and gives the feel of Italy. We will definitely go back the next time we visit Myrtle Beach.

What a welcome difference from the ordinary food served at the crowded, noisy spots on the main drag! We were able to be seated right away (it was a weekday) and found the atmosphere to be elegant yet family-friendly, nicely decorated with an authentic feel. Tables and booths are private. The serving staff were very attentive; available but not bothersome. The menu seemed to have both the traditional Italian favorites as well as some creations by the chef. There is a nice children's selection as well as several vegetarian dishes. The staff seemed to have good knowledge of the nice wine list. The portions were generous and worth the price.

We have visited Pomodoros on two occasions while vacationing in Myrtle Beach. Both times we were extremely delighted with the quality of food, service, and the atmosphere is very beautiful and relaxing. This is a great place for a meal that you will remember and an evening out fit for a king without breaking the bank. If Pomodoros were located in my home town, we would definately patronize them on a regular basis.

This is one of Myrtle Beach's best kept secrets! The food and service are excellent. Fresh roasted garlic spreads like butter on the house baked bread. The tomato sauce is a prefect balance of sweet and tangy. The Chicken Maria (w/breaded eggplant, prosciuto & mozzarella) is very flavorful. Veal is fork tender. A SeaBass special one night was also excellent. Portions are not huge, but much larger than other upscale restaurants. (You won't leave hungry!) The wait staff is very personable and friendly - they even open the door for you when you arrive! If you are looking for traditional Italian dining with a modern twist, give Pomodoros a try!

GREAT PLACE, the fried calamari appetizer was so tender and crisp. I had the Chicken Maria and my date had the Veal Parm. Both entrees were fantastic. And the Canolli and coffee were a perfect finish to the meal. It has to be one of the prettiest restaurants I've seen.

Pomodoro's is a true "find" among the many restaurants in Myrtle Beach! The restaurant is beautifully decorated and the service was excellent. The roasted garlic bread service is a cut above many of the other Italian restaurants in the area. I had the canneloni and my husband had the double stuffed pork chops and both were out of this world! Their expresso and coffee service were a nice after dinner treat. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves Italian food.

I can not say enough about this restaurant! Truly Magnificant Food and Service. On my first visit I fell in love with the superb lobster ravioli and grouper medallions . If you haven't tried this place, you should definately add it to your list.
