Review: This was our third or forth visit here. We started going here because we are kinda friends with the chef, Sean. Well, we went here on 11/10, and found out that he is no longer working there. The host was kinda abrupt with our inquiry of Sean, even though we explained that we were friends. He went on and on of how the new chef has 30 years experience, as if that decides good food. That didn't matter, we weren't leaving to go eat somewhere else.
We were first seated by the kitchen, the main dinning room was closed for a private party. I question why restaurants have seats by the kitchen. The noise, the smells, etc... We were moved at our request. It obviously wasn't the best night to go as far as seating was concerned.
Well, the menu didn't change at all, which is good. There were even more specials than I remembered previously. The food tasted fine, great actually. The only thing was there was alot of oil used. Granted, chicken parm is fried. But it was as if it was then baked in a pool of oil with the sauce and cheese. And my father got some sort of pasta primavera (sp?). I've made this at home, and perhaps it's my recipe, but I don't use oil. This was litterally a pool of oil, and whatever sauce was used. Perhaps an oil based sauce. I thought perhaps it was pesto, since that uses oil. I can't stress the OIL enough.
I will continue to go back. It's a new chef, and I doubt he is the one doing the sole cooking. Perhaps he's learning, who knows. Maybe it was a bad night. That happens at even the best of places. We miss Sean, but we did find out he is going to be at the Market Common. So we will go there, and continue to go here.

Review: We visited for the first time in July and will definitely return next time we are in Myrtle. We had a reservation. The atmosphere was so authentic and pleasant. Our waiter (David) was both prompt and entertaining. We ordered Lasagna, alfredo, spaghetti, and a dish with lobster ( a large piece), shrimp and mussels in a sauce on pasta (this was to die for!!). The general manager (Mike) came to talk to us and see if we needed anything (he is a personal friend of ours). We really think that the prices are very reasonable and the portions are large.

Review: I agree with all of the good reviews. I just moved to Myrtle Beach, and found this restaurant last Saturday, and tried it for an early dinner. WHAT A FIND. It is off the main strip, and just a few blocks south of 501. I liked everything about the place. It was sparkling clean, beautifully decorated, and the food and service were wonderful. I will be taking all of my visitors there for a meal, and I also plan to be a regular customer. Try it, you will be very pleased!

Review: The menu differs from most "Italian" restaurants with delicious cuisine from different regions of Italy, and the atmosphere makes it an experience!

Review: Pomodoro's is a wonderful restaurant. The atmosphere was lovely, the food was delicious, and the service was cheerful and prompt. We loved the brick work on the inside of the restaurant which was designed by the owner himself. It is very tastefully done and gives the feel of Italy. We will definitely go back the next time we visit Myrtle Beach.

Review: We have visited Pomodoros on two occasions while vacationing in Myrtle Beach. Both times we were extremely delighted with the quality of food, service, and the atmosphere is very beautiful and relaxing. This is a great place for a meal that you will remember and an evening out fit for a king without breaking the bank. If Pomodoros were located in my home town, we would definately patronize them on a regular basis.

Review: Pomodoro's is a true "find" among the many restaurants in Myrtle Beach! The restaurant is beautifully decorated and the service was excellent. The roasted garlic bread service is a cut above many of the other Italian restaurants in the area. I had the canneloni and my husband had the double stuffed pork chops and both were out of this world! Their expresso and coffee service were a nice after dinner treat. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves Italian food.

Review: I can not say enough about this restaurant! Truly Magnificant Food and Service. On my first visit I fell in love with the superb lobster ravioli and grouper medallions . If you haven't tried this place, you should definately add it to your list.
