This was the worst experience my family had. The waitress was the only positive part. The chicken fingers tasted worst than they smelled(which was really bad). After telling the mgr. he asked my kids what was wrong with them. He acted like he didn't believe us. Worst part was a couple hrs.later my husband got sick and my toddler got diarrhea. I called the mgr.back and he continued to act smug and still did not believe us.Do not go!!! We will never return.

My family and I went here in August to get a quick meal. The waiter was really funny and nice and told us his opinions on the foods since we hadn't dined there before. The service was quick and while we waited for our food we took a look around the museum. It was very fun to see Hollywood memorabilia. There was almost nobody there since it was in August and kids were starting up school again. I had a great drink called "The Finding Nemo" and a Kid's Meal pizza. I got a flashing glass that I could keep as well. We got seated immediately, also. It was quiet and had a great atmosphere!

this was one of the worst dining experiences we have ever had...we were the only ones in the place-now I know why. The food was awful. The kid's meals inedible...the spaghetti looked like red mush. The waitress and manager were very nice but they could not have possibly fixed all that was wrong with this place. YUK- don't go!

I agree with the last comments... WAY overpriced. Kids meals are $6.99 with NO drink and the portion size was ridiculous!! My very petite 7 year old was still hungry and picking off of my husband's plate after eating the spaghetti and meatballs. I ordered the chicken philly and one half of the sandwich had absolutely nothing in the bun. The waitress stated that it was a "preportioned" order and that everything must have ended up on the other side of the bun. It amounted to about 2 small grilled strips. We also had 2 coupons that did not state limit one per table and the hostess and server refused to honor them. We asked nicely if we could speak with the manager because it wasn't stated on the coupon only 1 per table and the waitress left and didn't come back for 20 minutes. Our kids were swinging off of the chairs as we had been finished eating and the table cleared for the entire wait!! When the waitress finally returned, she said that she just went ahead and took the coupons off BUT she added the gratuity as stated on the menu for parties with more that 6. (We had 4 adults, 1 child, 1 toddler (2) and one infant). However, the it was not to her benefit because I usually always tip at least 20% (and she was a good waitress before the coupon incident) and the gratuity was only 18%. Overall, an definite must do experience.... but will only do once.

This was by far one of the worst places to eat ever! Mcdonalds has better food than this place! The food is way over priced and less portions than the dollar menu. I would suggest driving by and going next door to rioz because u are going to end up spending the same amount of money at planet crappywood!

Oh, Planet Hollywood. What can I say, I love the place. I'm a huge movie buff, so the whole atmosphere is quite amazing to me. Absolutely wonderful. Costumes from the original Power Rangers movie? Ninja Turtles? TurboMan? I mean, come on. These are originals! How can you not be amazed!? I've been before, but I also plan on travelling today for my birthday. I live 5 hours away, but I'll make the trip for some of that awesomeness. I digress. Let's chat about the food. Yes, the food is a bit pricey, and if you feel like you can't drop about 30 bucks on a good meal, go elsewhere. For those of us wanting good food and good entertainment, PH is the place to go. The service is great when it's not busy. I'm a waiter, so I know how it gets when a server gets double, even triple sat. It sucks. People also have to realize that they aren't the only table in the restaurant. As a server, I can understand if it's really busy and it takes a bit of time to get my food and drinks and such. Now, 45 minutes for a drink? Unacceptable. Also, I'm sure the Mellow Mushroom that I work at is much smaller than the Planet Hollywood universe. Digressing again. Food was good last time I went. Hoping it'll be good today. Service was exceptional last time, and here's hoping for the same kind of service on this day. All in all, PH must be pretty great if I wanna travel 5 hours just to go today, right?

We decided to go to Planet Hollywood while we were visiting Myrle Beach. We had 5 adults and 6 kids. The food is way overpriced!!! This is the only restraunt I've ever seen that doesn't include kids drinks with their meals. Their kids meals were 6.95 and then 2.50 for a drink which is ridiculous!!! My husband and I ate turkey clubs, my son had chicken fingers and fries and our girls had of all things salads and it cost us $70.00. If I thought I was going to spend that much I would've went next door to the Braziliian steakhouse. I don't think I'll ever go their again.

We were very hesitant about going to Planet Hollywood on our vacation to myrtle beach, since we have heard less than good reviews of the restaurant. Upon leaving, im still not so sure i would go back. The food was prompt, but unsatisfying. And the volume of the music videos were way too loud. The employee's seemed like they were very happy to be there. We did wait a few minutes to be seated, by a host with a horrible attitude. But luckily our waitress, alison (i think), more than made up for it. She was very friendly and, She made excellent beverage suggestions, and was sure to make sure that our cups, and those around us were always full. It was very hard to manuver around all the tables in such a small amount of space to see all the movie memorabelia. our food was brought out by a very nice waiter named brandon, who also made sure we were satisfied with our food. all in all we had extremely excellent service in a fun environment, but the food was not worth the price.

Very fun an festive atmosphere. Not very long to get seated. From there on our experience was horrible. The service was by far the second worst I had. Took forever to greet our table an get drink orders where there was maybe 3 other tables in the restraunt. The food took forever but was however good. The price was paid was not met by the service we recieved. I would go back if I knew we would get better service.

My wife and I had a terrible experience at a different restaurant the night before we went here. We couldn't have asked for a bigger turn around. The service was excellent. Our server was kind enough to give her own opinion about menu items that we were not sure of. She was right about everything. The food was fresh and prompt. We were seated without a wait. The atmosphere was what we expected. We would definitely eat here again.

I remember this place being built back in the mid 1990's and always drove by on our vacations and always thought "man we need to go here". so a few days ago we stopped to see what the place was about.....man we were shocked!

First there was a guy outside trying to sell us timeshares. I mean come on, we come here to eat, not spend 200,000 on a vacation home. Anyway, we promised we would talk with him on our way out, but jetted out quick so he wouldnt see us.

Anyways, you walk in there, and I dont think its been updated since it was built. There is a mediocre Terminator statue and just some random crap all over the place. The big screen is showing a movie, perhaps a foreign film..who knows...

The food on the menu looked very bland, like crapplebees. It was just a crappy establishment. I cant believe people actually had fun here. We didnt get any further than the menus, before we left. We didnt even give this crappy place a chance.

We visited Planet Hollywood on our family vaction after our marriage. The hostess were extremely rude but our server made up for that. She was awesome, her name was Sarah !! The guy who ran out our food, Brandon, was very helpful as well. We had to wait over thirty minutes for our meal, but it was ok becasue the serving staff entertained us with their knowledge of the memorabilia. We will definately return!!

What to say about Planet Hollywood? I have some strong words for ya! I went to Planet Hollywood about 4 months ago to visit w/ family over the holidays, & we decided to dine here. We made reservations a day before, & I had seen the restaurant before, I had just never eaten there. I was quite excited, the place from the outside looked really cool & my family had never eaten there either. When we walked in the scenery was nice, but there were SO many people there! It was packed. A server girl came up to us & told us the wait would be about 45 minutes or so, & I replied "we have reservations though". Obviously it didn't matter she just said "sorry" & walked away with a know it all look. I was angry & my family was hungry. We waited for almost an hour & were about to leave, when finally a kind waitor came to seat us. It was very noisy in the restraunt & it didn't smell to pleasant either. I thought it would be VERY much nicer..but it wasn't at all what I had expectations for. We waited nearly 30 minutes to get menus, & at this time I was extremley aggravated. A waitor handed us menus & they told us they were all out of coke-a-cola, we had to order some other drink. We all ordered a round of root beer for the kids, & a beer for the adults. I ordered a hamburger w/ fries. I thought they would have some better food choices, but they didn't. When the waitor came he acted annoyed & handed us our drinks w/ a slur. He almost spilled my beer down my shoes, & I was ANGRY! He didn't say sorry he said, "oooops" & walked away w/ a smirk. I wanted to get his name, but he wasn't wearing a name tag of some sort or anything. This was a diffrent waitor that seated us. When I took a drink of my beer it was warm & didn't quench my thirst at all. It tasted like a melted milkshake. It didn't taste like any beer I ever had. I was so angry at this time I could have threw my drink at this boy!!!!! I just sat the drink down, & went on to eat my burger. I took a bite & the lettuce was wilted & soggy, the tomatoe was EVERYWHERE, & the mustard was smeared all over the buns & running down my fingers! The meat was digusting & dry was a bone, & I just HATED everything about this meal! The fries were overly salted & were dry too. This meal was horrid! MY family were just as pleased with there meals as I was! We got up & left, w/ not tip or anything. We paid our bill, & went to Jimmy Buffet's MargaritaVille. We were exceptionally happy w/ our dining there! So, thanks planet hollywood for one of THE WORST meals of my LIFE! That was sick, I wouldn't even feed that burger to my dog! I just would like to inform anyone who plans on eating there TO NEVER GO TO THIS RESTRAUNT!

After waiting for over a half hour in the noisest planet hollywood i have ever been in (been to the one in disney, this was far worse) the people that came in 10 minutes after us got seated before us because the "forgot" and accidently skipped our name. being seated in an area that was packed with kids off a bus for spring break. when the rest of the resturant was a lot less busy our waitress procedded to "forget" about us and her other 4 tables. I have never not left someone some sort of a tip until her. Worest staff I have ever experienced in a resturant of any size. after waiting 45 minutes for our food. The 1st thing that came out wasn`t even ours. The waitress procedded to argue with us until the couple next to us spoke up and that was their food. It was just a poor experience and will never go back!

We ate here while on vacation and I would recommend saving your money. You can still go in and walk around to see the exhibits without dining there so if that is your thing, go for it. Our food was not good, the waitress was extremely annoying and the price was high. With all the great places to eat while vacationing in Myrtle Beach, I'd recommend trying somewhere else.

Have tried this resturant several times and have never returned in the last 5 years! The food is "just" average but the wait is way too long and you can't carry on a conversation with those sitting right next to you because the music is so loud. The last time I ate there, I had to scream my order to the waitress (no exaggeration) and had a terrible headache when I left.

Wait time & wait staff average for a MB restaurant @ high season. Server was good, although the air conditioner vent (condensation) dripped on 2 of us & the table during the entire meal & when we brought it to their attention we were told "it does that sometimes" the waiter said he would have a manager stop by & asked us twice if they had ever stopped by (no, they never did). So that's the below average part of the service. Realizing that you go the planet holloywood for the atmosphere I shouldn't be SO DISSAPOINTED in the low quality & bland taste of the food.

This was my first visit and I'm not sure that I would return. The seating time was normal, however the service and food was less that pleasing.

I ordered a steak and it took 45 minutes to receive my meal and when I did the steak was a least 60% FAT. and the baked potato was so cold that the butter did'nt even melt.

The waiter and manager did appologize but that was the extend. Then to top it off the party seated next to us also ordered a steak and it took 40 mins. for theirs as well. The big difference is the manager apologized and then took care of their bill. Well I guess if there is a male in the party things are taken care of.

Ok if you have a choice between going here and Hard rock cafe go HERE,cause at least the food is good. Sadly the prices atre still over priced. But the atmosphere is great and the emplyees are very nice. Great place to visit once if you've never been. Make sure to visit the "hand wall" outside the gift shop me and my sons had a great time taking pictures of each other with our hands inside the hands of hollywoods biggest stars imprints. You will have a good time but like everything else at the beach... it os over priced.

Planet Hollywood was empty on a Friday evening in early December 2007. This could be a great place but it looks like they are letting it run down - a little dusty, dark, and the colorful vinyl tablecloth was very sticky. I did enjoy walking the floor to view all the real movie memorabilia and the Christmas-themed videos playing. We were the only guests for the first half of our meal or so we got great service. The food was typical of this type of restaurant chain (like Hard Rock, Margaritaville), a little pricey, even with our 15% off coupon. However, our dishes were prepared well. I had great tasting chicken fajitas which were really sizzling on a metal plate and came with plenty of flour tortillas.

Our family visited in August of 2007 and I must say generally it was not worth the wait. The hostesses were extremely rude and our wait was 30 min over the quote time. The waiting area was hot and there was no where to sit. The bar was very busy but they had drinks for kids that our children enjoyed- they got a toy shark with one. The table was dirty and so were the floors. The dining room was very crowded and I found some of the music videos inappropriate for younger children. Our server was very slow and she seemed more interested in flirting with other employees (within eyesight of our table) than taking care of us. The kids liked looking at the displays but they did not recognize any of the items because they were so outdated that I did not even know some of the movies- and I am 43! We sat near the kitchen so we could hear the managers yelling at the servers. The food took over 45 minutes to arrive at the table and the manager that spoke with us was pleasant but obviously flustered and seemed like she did not have control over the situation. The kids liked the food and my salmon was good but my wife's pasta was very bland. We were charged on 3 drinks that we did not purchase so they sent the general manager to speak with us. I was hoping he might be of help, but he was patronizing and seemed like a used car salesman. We had 15% taken off our bill becuase of the issues with the food but I just wanted to get out of there at that point. Overall, pretty much what I expected from a theme restaurant- the kids liked it but I think we will skip it on future trips.

My family and I went in June and the food wasn't that great especially for the price. The hamburgers were burnt and cold. We ordered drinks, but they said that they didn't have glasses, which they should have given us a glass from the gift shop. I will never go back.

I so totally unimpressed. Maybe Sly, Bruce and Ahnold should have maintained ownership. The food was below average at best. I have very little to say about a place that I had heard so much about. I guess you can't always believe what you're told or read until you see for yourself. I saw for myself and was left with an empty feeling that I and my family had wasted our time. What a shame. It could be so much more than what they showed me that evening.

It was my families first time to m.b. They were excited to see the place. We decided to eat at Planet Hollywood. The atmosphere was great. The food was okay, but some dishes were served cold. Some of the locals there really didn't approve of a.a. Sitting next to them. The prices were abit high and you did not get what you paid for. It took 25 mins. To be seated. We were so out done by the "friendly" caucasions, next to us we paid for dinner, and went to the hotel. Not the greatest experience.

Our family of four went with another family of four and we went on a Wednesday and it didn't take that long for us to be seated but while we waited we sat at the bar and got a drink and i got the "Finding Nemo" drink and it was delicious. I liked the atmosphere because when i walked in i felt like i was a movie star when i was walking down to the dining area and i really liked the seats too [ how they we're decorated ] . The bathroom was also really nice because there was a lady in there helping you and there was all sorts of perfumes and lotions in there too. The food was o.k there but above all i pretty much loved the exhibits and the restaurant was really nice. =]

Don't believe the hype of the Planet Hollywood brand! The food is not worth the price or the amount of time you have to wait in line to get in (we walked right in at 4:30 pm, but have noticed the lines when we have driven by on past vacations). The chicken sandwich I ordered was a good portion, but it was dry and came with a one and a half inch square piece of lettuce, a tomato w/ the stem core still on it and hardly any bbq sauce. The exhibits are bit dusty and dated - nothing recent. The outside appearance was very weathered and rusty. It looks as though they have given up and are solely relying on the brand to bring in the customers.

I visted Planet Hollywood on Saturday September 16, 2006, and had one of the worst dining experience of my life!. The waitress took 20 minutes to wait on our table, and took another 20 minutes tor bring our beverages to the table. (The restaurant was half empty during this time of day). The food was disgusting and we sent our meals back and proceeded to leave the restaurant. I would not let my child's hamster eat at that place! PLEADE DON'T GO THERE!

All my friends said, "Go to Planet Hollywood." Great, no lines we said. What a lousy bunch of friends I must have! Food (an appetizer and a couple of burgers, and drinks) was poor quality, cold, and the waitress had a major 'tude. Thought she was doing us a favor by serving us. Sure the props and stuff were great to look at --- for 10 minutes. 32 bucks and change for two meals. A big waste with a CAPITAL W. DO NOT GO!

Our wait was short -- less than 20 minutes for a party of 8. I thought the food was good but overpriced. I did enjoy the atmosphere and looking at the memorabilia. Our server was adequate. Due to the price of the food, I would not go back.

Planet Hollywood is a must eat at resturant when in myrtle. The atmosphere is fun and suitable for all ages. The service is good which compliments the great food! The only bad thing is that line can be long but that's only because everyone one wants to eat here!

A not so good time! My family visited there while on vacation last week, and it was my son's 8th Birthday, he thought it looked like fun from the outside {and that's the only reason we went!}. What a mistake! The wait was horrible, management was so poor, never tried to help us get seated after waiting an hour longer than or wait was estimated at! The food is below average and the experience is not worth the price you pay!

Our waitress, Valerie, was good!!! She was very understanding that we had waited so long and tried to make up for that! However, overall a Total waste!

This was our first visit to a Planet Hollywood. It's not all it's cracked up to be. The food was ok. There was not a lot of choices on the menu. It was really loud in there too. I probably will not go back.

This was my first time to dine here. I've always heard of Planet Hollywood but had never visited until now. The atmosphere and movie memorabilia was awesome. The servers were very friendly and prompt. Also, while waiting to be seated you can enjoy a bar and rest at tables. The quality of the food was great; however. the portions were very miniscule. ( Ten dollars for a burger that you would pay two for at BK. )

I don't think I would go back simply because I enjoy actually eating at restaurants. It has a great atmosphere and people, but I recommend eating before ( or after ) going.

I've visited here many times and I'm never sure why I do. The food is mediocre and it's too loud to hear the person next to you. If you've never been to a Planet Hollywood before I wouldn't try this one, its way too expensive for plain American low-quality food.

You can't go wrong with Planet Hollywood. The food and the service are great, and the atmosphere is a blast.

This is a great place to take kids because there's so much for them to look at while they wait for their food.
