Review: The Philly House had moved to 2nd Ave North the owner Nick remodeled the restaurant to now accommodate breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The Philly House is now Coastal Seafood. There is no direct connection with establishment that moved into their previous location at 7th ave south. They continue to claim they are associated with the Philly House but those who ever dined at the original establishment know you cannot confuse quality.

Review: This restaurant is the antidote to one of the biggest problems facing the restaurant industry today--chain restaurants. It ain't no Micky D's. The owner was there taking my order, the decor was classic 60's mom n pop style, the portions were more than generous, and very good. I will be eating here the next time I am in Myrtle Beach. The only problem I can find with it is that it is a little hard to find. They have moved south from the old location and are in the 700 block of Kings Hwy. next to the Bingo place, just in front of a closed miniature
golf with a large statue of an old sea captain smoking a pipe. Do yourself a favor and go there!

Review: The Philly House is currently closed due to family matters out of the country but will reopen soon.This is a notice from the son of the owner Nick Papagiannis--he appreciates those who miss his business and wants to assure Myrtle Beach that he will be reopening just as soon as he is back. There will be a website for the Philly House coming up shortly- -we ask that everyone please be patient! We appreciate our local and out of state fans and will continue to serve our original quality as long as the Philly House is still around.Again, we appreciate the patience;we will be back with you all very soon.

Review: Could you please tell me if and when this restaurant is re-opening? We love this place, but we are unable to reach them in person or by telephone. Review: The Philly House is excellent. It's like being on south street in Philly. Great steak sandwich and when we are in Myrtle Beach Rving my wife and I eat there at least 3 times in a week. Review: Great place amazing food but they closed the first store and opened a newer even better store. Off their new menu they are located at 2nd ave. N kings hwy so only a few avenues north from where they were. Same great food with a bigger place. We bring our family there every summer. New # 843-448-6100.

Review: The Philly House is a wondreful dining experience. My husband and I eat there on every visit to Myrtle Beach. We especially love the Philly Cheese steaks. Being A family owned establishment, your always be greeted with a smile.
Pricing is wonderful. You can feed a family of four for under $25. You have to give them a try.
