Review: We have a condo nearby & come to Cherry Grove at least once a month. It isn't a trip to the beach unless we have burgers at Penny's! The seasoning of the meat is great & the toasted/salted buns are just as wonderful. It's always quick & fresh & tasty! Just wish they didn't serve Pepsi!

Review: BEWARE!!! Went there on Sunday. Not a good experience with the waitress or cook. Both seemed to have an attitude. We were the ONLY customers at the time. Seemed to reflect a different attitude. I wonder if there are new owners. Probably won't be back, but were good and frequent customers before. Have not seen the original owner in serveral weeks. Just don't need to tolerate the attitude or the lowering of food quality!

Review: This place is the find of a lifetime! The loose burgers are seasoned perfectly and served hot and fresh. The beer is cold--the fries are great. Haven't had the hot dogs yet but understand they are delicious. Can't wait to go back--and we will--often! Been there twice this week already. Penny's is now "Famous" with our family.

Review: We wanted to see what the advertised fish fry was like. A large protion with fries and fresh slaw. Everything was great. The place is bright and clean. Beer and wine is served and also food to go. Nothing fancy but good food and a clean restaurant. We live in Little River so we will be back! Keep up the good food and service!

Review: Expanded menu and expanded hours due to season. Same FANTASTIC food and service, but more availabilty during peak season. A great place for locals and vacationers. Some of the BEST food on the beach and great prices and service.

Review: Excellent loose meat burger ( if you can imagine) and the best hot dogs on the beach. Buns are toasted with butter and kosher salt. The Friday Night Fish Fry is GREAT! This is a MUST TRY place!
