Review: I just ordred a Supercalifragilistic cake for my son's birthday. It's really fun and crazy looking. He screamed with delight when he saw it. It actually tasted really great. The homemade cakes here are incredible.

Review: Just notice that Painters in Garden City opened. Yeah! We love this store, it is such a special treat. We have lived here for almost 10 years and this is a big part of our summer. We find any occasion to go. Great service, great ice cream, and really great atmosphere.

Review: Oh my gosh Painters Ice cream is the bomb!!!! I love the Maple Nut!! They have great service and the new building is fantabulous! I cant wait until they open back for the season! I love the owners they are nice kind and very sweet, their ice cream is by far the best ice cream in town Painters is better than Baskin Robbins or the Yum Yum shop!!!! And the burgers they serve are amazing I nominated them for best burgers on the beach and they won!! I love Painters!!!!!!

Review: By far some of the most delicious ice cream I have tasted in a while! On our short week visit, we trekked in with three kids on three different occasions! The service was wonderful and so were the homemade waffle cones dipped in chocolate and covered in sprinkles! Heading back to the Garden City area this weekend, and will be sure to visit Painter's again!

Review: We'd heard that Painters had burned down and were so sad. When we went for our vacation over the 4th, we were thrilled to see that they have rebuilt - and it's even better than it was. The decor is so neat -- painted like a beach scene with blue colors and clouds. It's great. I'm sorry for their fire, but it sure looks better now. The owners were there (Mom and Pop operation), and they were so friendly. It's the best ice cream - very creamy and sweet without being too sweet;everyone in my family has favorites; we love cookie dough, birthday cake, key lime, chocolate mousse and black cherry. Congratulations on a great store! We'll see you next year.

Review: Painters Ice Cream is by far the best ice cream we have ever had! Every trip to Myrtle Beach includes a stop, or two, or three at Painters! We go almost every day of our trip to get something different in the many flavors they have. Our favorites are the cookie dough sundae and mud monster sundae! The ice cream has an excellent taste & texture & is well worth the price for the portions. The servers were great & we loved the samples of cake! We recommend this ice cream shop to anyone who is visiting or driving by Myrtle Beach!

Review: I love the ice cream...it's creamy and smooth and for some reason, the flavor is just much more intense than other ice cream. And they have a burger place inside the store that's a made-to-order. I swear, it's the best burger I've ever had. It tastes like a gourmet burger that would sell for 3 times the price. And they also have chicken sandwiches and other things. This is a GREAT place on the beach. Perfect. A family place, Mom & Pop and the owner was so friendly. Great value; very good portion sizes. All in all, this is a "don't-miss" place when you're in Myrtle Beach down in Garden City.

Review: My thoughts and prayers are with the family of the owners. I am very sorry for the loss of yalls building. I am going to miss driving by and seeing that building cause it was DEF one of the cutest buildings!! At least we can still get ice cream from Garden City pier from yall. Review: My family has come here for years. I love the family atmosphere and am still impressed they make everything on sight. The ice cream is quite incredible. I had a "Mud Monster", one of their specials that knocked my socks off. They seem to value their customer and really take pride in their ice cream.

Review: I highly recomend this ice-cream shop! I've been going there for 7 years and think that it is the best ice-cream that i've ever tasted! When I go to Myrtle Beach that is the first place that I have thought about! when we leave Myrtle beach I always take about 2 or 3 big gallon tubs home to share! If you are ever looking for a good ice-cream shop then Painters is definately the one!

Review: I have been going to Painters for well over 25 years. It's a ritual for me every time I am in Myrtle Beachj or just passing through. Strawbery sundae on banana nut ice cream, with whipped cream. And they're good people, too.

Review: Best Ice Cream in South Carolina!!! My family always has Painters Ice Cream at least 3 - 4 times during our week stay at the beach. My only complain is that there are always teenage/college age girls working that seem more concerned about talking on their cell phones than taking orders. But, aside from that, I HIGHLY recommend checking this place out!! It's fantastic!!

Review: I was visiting last summer and was pleasantly surprised to discover they also had a sandwich menu. The hamburger tasted like an expensive gourmet burger. I was also pleased to see they cook to order so I didn't have to eat a burger that had been made in the morning and had sat under a heat lamp all day. The ice cream was delicious---very creamy--and the portion size was much larger than some of the other ice cream stores. They were accommodating in letting me sample their different varieties.(My personal favorite was the Key Lime). Another unusual and delicious flavor is "Birthday Cake". I've never seen this flavor anywhere else. I would definitely recommend this establishmet to anyone visiting the area! Best deal for the money. We'll be making this store a regular "must-do" every year when we go back.

Review: My wife, son and I stopped here after a long day on the beach. I had some bannana deal and I sampled my sons Chocolate and my wifes mint chocolate chip. All were amazing! As for service I assumed they would take credit/debit cards which after ordering found out they didn't. I was 2 dollars short so I had to ask they cancel my order. The owner said nonsense just come visit us next time you're in town. They are wonderful people with a superior product.

Review: Painters ice-cream is wonderful. Not overly sweet. I had the chocolate almond and it was wonderful. The waffle cone is really good too. They will put the kids ice-cream in a small bowl with the cone on top so there aren't any ice-cream mishaps. They have a wall of pictures from famous guests who have eaten there which is fun to look at. This is a Vanna White's favorite stop too!
