After messing up my order twice & calling the mag. I was treated rudely & told she owned the restaurant & there was no one above her. I was given a wrong number for a regional mgr. The food was the worst I have ever had & they could not seem to get it right. There are too many places to eat here & I would suggest unless you like being treated rudely & having your food fixed wrong twice .....find another place. I gyess because they think you are on vacation they can treat you anyway they want. The rudeness was unbelievable.

I'm writing this review because of the other reviews on this site before I went. All of the poor reviews were not only on outback alone but what seemed to be every restaurant. And from what I can tell this website people are far too critical. I am from Columbus Ohio and this outback was just as good food and even better on wait time and service.

Let me start by saying I have never been more unhappy with outback until last month I went with my child sister and uncle we ordered drinks and appetizer which came out fine. We didn't have the problems till our main meals came out they brought my food i ordered a steak and shrimp the proportions were ridiculous i had two shrimp and the steak was the size of my palm. The waiter brought the food to the table and preached to my child not to touch it and made a yelling noise as he put his hand towards his drink that was next to the plate and my child proceeded to cry and not eat. I couldn't believe it and the man that brought the food wasn't even our waitor!

Well, Its usually good, but its a chain restaraunt, so what can you expect? Inconsistent cookingness on food, but, you know.

My husband and I am visiting Myrtle Beach from Raleigh, NC. We decided to got to The Outback (even though we can go there in Raleigh). Overall the food was great- blooming onion was amazing, seared tuna was awesome, and my husbands shrimp dish was also very good. Not bad seafood for a steakhouse. The place was very busy, but we didn't mind it. Server was busy and a bit forgetfull... but we're all human. Overall he was still very curtious and we will be dining there again.

Quick, courteous service. You can put together any combo you want. It's what you want that counts. Routinely one of the best steak's i've had. Love the crisp, cold salad and the croutons are great. People are always very nice, helpful. I can always have a pleasant conversation person i'm with as the noise level's never too loud. I go back over and over again..

My husband (Bobby) and I (Heather) are from Baltimore, MD. He comes down to Myrtle Beach and stays at the Long Bay Resort once a year around the end of January or beginning of February to go golfing. I come because of the great restaurants and fun night life. On 1-30-2009 we went to Outback at 1721 Highway 17 North and it was truely a great experience! For a friday night, it wasn't rediculously busy and we were seated as soon as we walked in. The hostest was a sweet heart and very well mannered and sat us in non-smoking just like we asked. Our table had a small amount of water from where they had cleaned it and she asked us to wait, grabbed a towel herself, and dried it off. Our waiter was so funny. He was from Massachusetts and went to highschool in Myrtle Beach because his father was in the air force. He was very well mannered, so respectful, and had the cutest accent! He had our drinks filled before we even knew we needed more. He brought us our bread and extra butter because he knew that one little tub just wasn't enough! I ordered te "No Rules Pasta" with shrimp ONLY and a side salad with Honey Mustard dressing, my husband ordered the "9oz Outback Special" cooked medium with a baked potato (butter only) and a side salad with Tangy Tomato dressing, and our friend Brian ordered the "Prime Rib" cooked medium with mashed potatoes and a side salad with Ranch dressing. EVERY BIT of our food was AMAZING!!!! The steak and prime rib were cooked medium to perfection! My pasta was mouth-watering good and the shrimp in it were cooked perfectly, not rubbery or smushy. Usually we converse through out dinner but on this occasion there was NOTHING coming out our mouths...only our dinner going in!! When we were finished, I was the only one with a little food left and my waiter brought a box and put my left overs in it for me without me even having to ask. Now, of course there are Outbacks in Maryland and they are our number 1 pick when we go out to dinner, but the Outback in North Myrtle Beach was so much better! In every aspect...cleaner, better service, better food, better mannered staff, and more respectful customers! We now have to find a new restaurant in Baltimore to make our number 1 because now that we've ate at the Outback in SC, Baltimore's Outback just isn't the same...although it is a very good place to eat and I would definitely reccomend it, it just would not measure up to the Outback in Myrtle Beach!!

My family and I were dining on Outback steak house last Sunday 8/17/08 and I was beyond pleased with not only the quality of the food but also with the exceptional service of our waitress. She was a young college student I think with the name Ashley ( a shorter girl ). We are avid Outback diners in our home town and can always depend on Outback to supply a good dinner for my husband, my two kids and myself. However from eating at Outback so much, I was just puzzled on what to order for dinner. My lovely server Ashley guided me through the specials making them all sound just so appetizing, so I decided to try the char grilled ribeye and I was ecstatic at my dinner ! I would have never ordered such a great dinner if it wasnt for my server Ashley. This Outback was one of my favorite atmospheres that I was able to expierence down here on the Grand Strand. . I jut love to have young, driven, and enthusiastic college students to wait on me and bring joy to my dining expeirence. Hats off to you Outback. I will definetly be back. !

Will keep this short. My 2 sons had asked for hamburgers, well done. One was ok, the other one very pink. We sent it back after he had taken a bite, fully expecting to get a fresh one. But no, they RECOOKED the same hamburger, reheating the same bread, and that took 15 minutes! Unbelievable! Never again will we visit an Outback!

We think the food is great for the money and if you ever have bad service or something is left out from a take-away order, the managers ALWAYS make up for it. They want your business and want you to come back. The summer months are very hectic due the tourists and the well known name of this restaurant- so be patient. This is one chain restaurant that will always be on a top 10 list for years to come.

Worst Ever!!! I called 1 hr. early to let them know that we had a group coming and they told me exactly when to be there. Once we got there we still had to wait almost 35 minutes. The food was very average. I wish I would have took my group to Golden Coral. My husbands steak was soooo tough. And, oh my goodness, you pay $20 plus dollars for a rack of lamb that were so smaller than your hand with barely any meat that is hard and crispy. Never, Never, Never will we come here again. Never. Plan to go somewhere else.

I have eaten at Outback a couple of times since moving to North Myrtle Beach. The first time the dinner and service was excellent. The second time, not so much. I was most frustrated with the carryout service they offered. The prime rib I ordered was almost all fat and I requested it to be seasoned and seared and that wasn't done.

We got carry out from this Outback and was not very impressed. The steak and coconut shrimp were excellent as ususal but they neglected to complete the order. French fries, bread and condiments were left out of the order. Mistakes like this is just plain carelessness. In place of the condiments we got someones shrimp alfredo sauce. There was another unhappy Outback customer in N. Myrtle Beach besides us.

I always make sure to stop at Outback whenever I am staying in Myrtle Beach because the service is great and the food and steak are unparalled. Just a bit pricier than other similar restaurants (if you get the steak) but trust me, the price is absolutely worth it!

We love outback! We tend to always eat there even when we had originally planned to eat somewhere else. It is honestly the best deal in town. A steak dinner with a salad potatoe and bread for under fifteen dollars! You could not do that at the grocery store. We love the endless bread, and our food has never been less than perfect.

We eat at Outback in North Myrtle Beach a lot. There really isn't much consistency -- one time the steaks will be great, the next time they'll be small and improperly cooked. Or the lobster tails will be so small and tasteless that they're a total waste of {alot of) money. One thing that is always great is the little loaves of fresh-baked bread they serve with each meal. Now that is always great. Overall, a very high priced meal for the family for what you get.
