Review: This was NOT worth the drive, money, etc. The floor was sticky, we ate King Crabs only because other food LOOKED terrible, was cool to cold what we did try, tasted bland....waitress was very nice. To be honest with Christmas music playing, gingerbread houses out-it was like eating and being stuck in a very bad Christmas movie. WILL NOT GO BACK!

Review: terrible food we ate nothing on the buffet but crablegs and they didn't compare to the other buffets we ate at, dirty dining area, tables had tears in them, air conditioner broke, the manager i asked to talk with was very very rude, nothing good to say about this place. 4 adults and 1 child 108.00 dollars. when we left we went to mcdonalds

Review: I don't care what anybody says about this restaurant. I absolutely love this place and I always crave this place and as soon as I stroll into South Carolina every year that is the first place I go! The food is out of this world and the staff is incredible. I have never found a restaurant that I more more satisfied with! The crab legs are cooked perfect and always steaming hot! Some places just can't get the crab legs right but not this place. They have it mastered!!!!!!

Review: This was my first time at this restaurant and I will never return. We witnessed the manager (a man with a long grey ponytail) making racist comments to a black family and to his staff after the family was chased off by him. We also witnessed him calling his servers lazy and a couple four letter words. All of this in the dining area in front of patrons eating dinner. The food was pretty bad, dry, overcooked crab, mushy and tasteless shrimp, inedible fried seafood. I emailed the restaurant with my concerns about the horrific racist comments but never heard back. I am not sure if they haven't had time to respond or support the manager's actions, either way, they will never see another cent from me or anyone I know. It's appalling they are still in business.

Review: I don't know how you would not LOVE this place. This is the first meal other then breakfast that my family and I order every year we visit Myrtle Beach. We make sure to leave room in our schedule to visit more than once. The buffet is magnificent. The crab legs are the best in the area. I highly encourage anyone on vacation or local to give a visit to Original Benjamins Calabash!!!!

Review: I have been going to Myrtle Beach on Vacation now for ten years and this is the best seafood buffet I have ever been too! So many selections in such a great setting. It's the first place I go too when we get into SC. I live in NY, and we don't have anything close that compares to Benjamins...

Review: If looking for a good Seafood Resturant this is not the place to go to. I highly recommend going somewhere else!
While on vacation I went there for my first and last time to eat.....the food was terrible. Most the food looked and tasted like it had been sitting out for hours and was cold. I didn't enjoy the food there at all.

Review: I have eaten in the place several times and everything has always been excellent until August 9. They did not have shell shrimp, the crab legs didn't look very good that night, the ice cream maker was broken. I was very disappointed. I think everyone should have been given a discount since they did not get the normal food or service. I went there for the shrimp and my friends went for the crab legs. Service was poor that night also. We had to ask for refills on drinks. I don't think my friends will be returning to your place because of this.

Review: we have traveled to this seafood gala for over four years now. The food is excellent. We loved the quality of the preparation of the food. The atmosphere is always pleasant with very good servers. The price is wonderful. Most of the time,we get a discount by getting there for a special. I wish that we could receive a better discount because most of the time, we bring eight people or more with us to dine.

Review: This was a holiday weekend when few people were at the beach. Thanksgiving. We were seated quickly and chose the buffet since we had a coupon. The price was OK. The food was barely OK. Since there were so few people in the place, there was never enough food available. Trays were frequently empty or what was in them was dried out. The crab legs were good, however. We bought a home in Surfside and have frequent guests. Never know where to take them since all these type places seem to have less than mediocre food at exhorbitant prices. I have been to worse on the beach but this one is close. Maybe things will be better when they are busier???

Review: The best seafood buffet on the Grand Strand. Excellent food and the largest variety, plus great deserts. A must on each visit to Myrtle Beach !
