My family and I are originally from Queens, New York and we know was "real" northern Italian food tastes like. Nico's is the closest thing we have come to it so far. The food was excellent, the ambiance was just like a northern italian restaurant and the servers were extremely friendly. They made you feel like family. Everything my family and I have ever eaten has been excellent, we only wish they were open on Sunday, for Sunday dinner but I guess you can't have it all.

As a New York transplant we have been looking long and hard for a good, authentic Italian restaurant. Sorry, Olive Garden and Carrabas just don't cut it. Nico's has a nice, casual neighborhood hangout vibe. What it lacks in decor it more than makes-up for with hearty, well-portioned meals and attentive staff. Finally, a REAL Italian restaurant.

Don't let this little pizza place fool you. They serve a lot more than pizza and for a little restaurant they pack a big flavorful punch! WOW! What awesome food.

The Brushetta was enough for me to want to come back again and again, but when I got my Lasagna I was convinced I will definately return. My wife raved about her Chicken Marsalla which had mounds of mushrooms over four huge pieces of chicken on a massive plate. There was so much food we had to take some back to the beach house for lunch the next day.

The meals came with warm rolls and garlic butter knots (YUM), and it also included a salad bar. (which was small, but fresh and offered plenty of choices).

Our server Chris was awesome and it was a wonderful experience in every way. I can't wait to go back!

Try it once and you'll go back. Definitely the place for pizza and great dinners at a very fair price. Definitely a favorite amongst the locals who are lucky enough to have discovered it. Suggestion: go smoke free, please.

Best little italian restaurant in Myrtle Beach! Owners are just starting out, so this is in the style of the 1950s neighborhood restaurants I remember as a kid. Personal, friendly service. Owner's family originated in Southern Italy near Bari (heel of the "boot"), where I was assigned to a small USAF base years ago. Food is better than authentic, and that is saying something! Absolutely outstanding!

Tried nico's for the first time a few weeks ago, we actually heard about it on the radio. They spoke about how great the food & service are, so we gave it a try.The best italian restaurant we have found in myrtle beach. Great food not only very tasty but as fresh as it comes. Highly recommended - coming from someone who has tried them all.

We have been going to Nico's almost since the day they opened. The food and service are more than excellent. They make you feel so at home, from the moment they greet us at the door to the end of our meal we are felt more than welcomed. Anyone who has never been, really needs to give it a try--You Will Be Hooked.

I went there to get the early bird meal which ends at 5pm. Unfortunately (even though we live 3 minutes from the place) my husband is slow at times so when we got there just at 5pm I was told we couldn't get the Early Bird. The owner came out and argued with me that it was his restaurant and his rules and if we didn't like it we could go somewhere else (even though he has seen us there many times). So if you want Northern Attitude and not Southern Hospitality this might be the place for you!

My parents live in Garden City and I have eaten at Nico's with them. It was alright, but I was not overly impressed. Last night, my parents (who are retired and trying to watch what they spend) went in for the early bird special which ends at 5:00 p.m. They walked in the door of the restaurant at exactly 5:00 p.m. and were told that they could not take advantage of the early bird special. When my mother asked to talk to the owner he came out of the kitchen like a bulldog, yelling that she "made me come out of the kitchen to argue with you." He also told her that "It is my house and my rules and if you don't want to follow them, don't come back." Guess what... they won't be back.

How's that for customer service?????
