I've been going to Nico's for quite some time and have never been dissapointed. Robert goes out of his way to stop by and say Hello and to ask how our family is. He makes the best Sicillian Pizza I have ever had. We formerly lived in NY and I'm so happy there is a Nico's...

Stopped last night and had a coupon from the "Attractions Book". They would not honor it because we were told that it was printed as a mistake. (Buy 1 pizza ~ get 1 free).. Printed as a mistake? That is really a stupid statement as someone had to approve it as the book was printed last fall. We bought the pizza anyway, not the greatest, kind of chewey, but the important part is that they have lost 6 customers..It was 3 couples, (locals) that will not return.

Restaurant was cute, nice little salad bar. Server was very attentive. I ordered Veal Saltimbaca. The flavor was so-so but the portion was very skimpy for the price. I was not able to really enjoy my meal due to the smell of smoke in the room and I was in the non-smoking section. Had to hurry my meal to get out to fresh air. Won't go there again, I'm afraid.

My husband and I have a Condo in Murrells Inlet and have tried many dishes that we loved. In Sept. 2010, four of my sisters and I came down from NY and I took them to Nico's. What a great evening we had, the food was excellent (all different entree) The service excellent and the wine. They can't wait to come back.

We own a vacation home in Surfside and this is one of our regular stops for dinner. The pizza is outstanding the best in Myrtle and trust me I have tried most of them. The Sicilian is the best, the veggie excellent and using sliced sausage, well that is the best!. I have had several of the veal dishes, all suburb. Cannot comment on pasta, my Mom is Italian and usually we do not eat pasta/red sauce out.

During bike week I ( a regular - local) ordered take out and was VERY disappointed. One item ordered was an eggplant grinder. Based on the amount of eggplant they put in the sandwich I would guess they ran out, and I would have preferred that they told me that. I also PAID for a side of extra sauce and did not get it. I think their prices are getting a little high.

Last night at the Beach I finally made it to Nico's for dinner. Walked in and the place was packed with locals but were seated right away in smoking section. No big deal. Our waitress was very friendly and very knowledgeable explaning the dishes to people who were unfamiliar with Italian dishes. Bruschetta was to die for! Had 3 glasses of the house red with dinner and it was a good red. The Veal Sorrentino was JUST unbelievable! Could have used a few more Garlic knots as the kitchen was backed up. All I can say was "What a Great Dinner!" Can't wait to go back to the beach and go to Nico's again...and I am going to try that pizza too as it looked really awesome!

Simply the BEST Italian cuisine in the area, by far. The food is sublime, the service exceptional, the staff top-notch. I pride myself by trying to work my way through the entire menu dish-by-dish. It will take some time though. I have never been disappointed by an appetizer (many), the entrees , the pizzas or the sandwiches. Only sorry that they are moving to Pawley's Island area in a few months. I will travel but it's been wonderful having such excellent fare in our neighborhood.

Everything is above average to excellent. EXCEPT the bread that is served. Very disappointing that it is not a real crusty Italian bread variety, that would have complemented our meals, but instead a basket of a combination of soft rolls and, I think, garlic knots? The food and service is really above average and we will certainly return again.

Fabulous! Best Italian food in the world! Food is consistently good. Every time we come to Myrtle (4x a year) we visit Nico's. We have never had a bad meal there. We get coupons, but would go there w/o a coupon cause it's that good. Better quality dishes, better quantity of food all at better prices than Murrell's Inlet restaurants where you really pay for view. Nico's doesn't really have any atmosphere but it's clean and the staff treats you like family. It's one of our favorites and you won't be disappointed either.

We are locals. Seems like most people believe Nico's is just a pizza joint. While they have the best pizza around, you will miss out on so much more if you don't give it a try for an italian meal. The food is wonderful. We've tried lots of places for italian and this is by far our favorite. It's a must. Call ahead for reservations because it gets pretty crowded.

4/10/08 had a outstanding dinner, started with the brushetta, best I have ever eaten. Main entree was chicken capricciosa, super. ended the meal with a canole and a tiramsue. Everything was great. We travel to Myrtle Beach every year for the past 10 years, but this was the first time for Nico's, it will be on my list to stop every year. Great job, keep up the good work.

My family and I are originally from Queens, New York and we know was "real" northern Italian food tastes like. Nico's is the closest thing we have come to it so far. The food was excellent, the ambiance was just like a northern italian restaurant and the servers were extremely friendly. They made you feel like family. Everything my family and I have ever eaten has been excellent, we only wish they were open on Sunday, for Sunday dinner but I guess you can't have it all.

As a New York transplant we have been looking long and hard for a good, authentic Italian restaurant. Sorry, Olive Garden and Carrabas just don't cut it. Nico's has a nice, casual neighborhood hangout vibe. What it lacks in decor it more than makes-up for with hearty, well-portioned meals and attentive staff. Finally, a REAL Italian restaurant.

Don't let this little pizza place fool you. They serve a lot more than pizza and for a little restaurant they pack a big flavorful punch! WOW! What awesome food.

The Brushetta was enough for me to want to come back again and again, but when I got my Lasagna I was convinced I will definately return. My wife raved about her Chicken Marsalla which had mounds of mushrooms over four huge pieces of chicken on a massive plate. There was so much food we had to take some back to the beach house for lunch the next day.

The meals came with warm rolls and garlic butter knots (YUM), and it also included a salad bar. (which was small, but fresh and offered plenty of choices).

Our server Chris was awesome and it was a wonderful experience in every way. I can't wait to go back!

Best little italian restaurant in Myrtle Beach! Owners are just starting out, so this is in the style of the 1950s neighborhood restaurants I remember as a kid. Personal, friendly service. Owner's family originated in Southern Italy near Bari (heel of the "boot"), where I was assigned to a small USAF base years ago. Food is better than authentic, and that is saying something! Absolutely outstanding!

I went there to get the early bird meal which ends at 5pm. Unfortunately (even though we live 3 minutes from the place) my husband is slow at times so when we got there just at 5pm I was told we couldn't get the Early Bird. The owner came out and argued with me that it was his restaurant and his rules and if we didn't like it we could go somewhere else (even though he has seen us there many times). So if you want Northern Attitude and not Southern Hospitality this might be the place for you!

My parents live in Garden City and I have eaten at Nico's with them. It was alright, but I was not overly impressed. Last night, my parents (who are retired and trying to watch what they spend) went in for the early bird special which ends at 5:00 p.m. They walked in the door of the restaurant at exactly 5:00 p.m. and were told that they could not take advantage of the early bird special. When my mother asked to talk to the owner he came out of the kitchen like a bulldog, yelling that she "made me come out of the kitchen to argue with you." He also told her that "It is my house and my rules and if you don't want to follow them, don't come back." Guess what... they won't be back.

How's that for customer service?????

Good food, good prices, locals eat here often... getting very crowded in season.
