We are from out of town and this place has become one of our favorite places to go when we are here. The food is amazing and the staff is very nice. We usually go 4 to 5 times a week when we are here. Will keep coming back. ref: 28326

The waitress staff is very unfriendly unless you know them. The waitress staff is very slow and they did not greet people that come in that they don't know. If you want to eat outside on the patio make sure you tell the waitress first because they rarely come out there to serve you. I'm a local and this isn't third visit there and it is SO cliquish. Not a great way to grow your business. ref: 28005

Rude rude rude.
Food might have been OK but rude service ruined the experience.
Terribly rude.
You will be fine if you're a local snuggled up to their bar.
If you order take out, make sure you like it before you leave because they will NOT do anything about the order except slam the phone down! ref: 27961

I live here and they always treat me great when I visit there. I know the folks working there. They work very hard working and are very friendly to everyone that I see. I would recommend them in daytime when you want a place to eat with your family all the way up to 7:00. At night the atmosphere changes and it's more adult oriented with music. To me, it is my local hang out. But, I would say if your in Surfside try the Barbecue Sandwich. I do not think you will be disappointed or hungry after that. ref: 27728

We love this bar. Excellent 'bar food' (several burgers & two kinds of fries, chicken sandwiches, fried fried bologna sandwiches) - we especially enjoy the $10 steak and fried pork chop night specials on Tues/Wed. respectfully. Owner Zack is one of a kind nice; waitresses Marie, Amy, Stacy and Cas are all great. Long tables are meet-people friendly. Hands down best place around to watch football. ref: 27229

We went in for an early lunch. We decided to eat ours there and take 2 more orders out. When our food was brought to us, it was thrown on the table without a word. I had a cheeseburger that was nothing special with romaine lettuce with the core still on it. Our two takeout orders were not complete, but being takeout, we didn't look at them before we left. Bartender/cashier was extremely rude. Hate I missed all the friendly folks that these other reviewer said they met. There is way to many options at the beach to ever return. ref: 26670

I was there for Bike Week 2013 and they all treated me very well.I enjoyed meeting all of them including (Zak) the Owner he sang some Johnny Cash very good i enjoyed. All so enjoyed the food it was great the wings, BLT,,etc... Also enjoyed the out of towners as i am who i got to meet,Mike and MaryM and There friends John and Susan....Tallie a local,and there was a bunch more...Miss you Guys and Gals I will be back next year if not before........ ref: 26637

Visit to this place was very nice on Jan.3 2013. The staff was so friendly and warm. I sung three songs on Kareoke night and got a very encouraging response from the other patrons to keep beleaving in my dream of becoming a success in the music business. May 2012 Awesome place! Very friendly staff, make you feel like at home! You have to try a Redneck Bloody Mary, not much of Mary fan but definately am of the Redneck version. Spent the week at Surfside Beach and 4 or 5 visits to Neil & Pam's during the week. Will definately go back! ref: 25309

We have been going to the area since 1989. Neal and Pam's was always a must while there. We liked going in the afternoon and talking to Neal. Couldn't believe it when his daughter Amy told us that he had passed in January. R.I.P. Neal. You were one of a kind ref: 24984

Service was great - wings & salad were above average (wings were the best I ever had)
I visited Neal & Pams because it was jam night (open stage for musicians) and I am a drummer from Cleveland Ohio. I signed up to play and waited all night to play. Numerous other drummers (including the host/house drummer) played and I was not allowed to play.
Unless you are a home-boy (local), don't bother going to this jam...

We got the name from a cleaner at our rental, day one of our oct golf vacation. 10 min walk but well worth it. Not busy the night we went but the food and service was great. Here is the real kicker; one of the guys in our group reached for his wallet shortly after arriving and discovered it missing. Thought he left it at the rental. Next morning, after much searching and panic, I walked to neil and pams. There it was, money (lots) still intact. Turned in we think by our waitress stacie. Thank you stacie!. ref: 24168

My husband and I love Neal & Pam's. We stay across the street when we come to bike week twice a year and once we park the bike, we just walk over to the bar and then walk back "home". So much safer than being on the bike drinking. We have been coming there for years and everyone is always so nice. The entertainment, especially Vincent Van Gone, is excellent. Looking forward to May bike rally and to see everyone again! ref: 10646

Neal & Pam's Pub has one particular bartender that was rude, and basically ruined our visit to a local favorite hot spot. She (Deb) complained the entire night about another customer, and eventually turned up the music so loudly none of us could hear each other. It became unbearable to the point we left. The food is average for a pub, just warmed up regular bar food, but it's good when you are hungry. The only issue with the atmosphere was the loud music, and the complaining that did not stop for over two hours (the entire time we were there.)
Usually N &Ps is a fun place, but after the expeirence that night we are unsure if we will return to the hormal hell hole now called Debs Den, and previously known as Neal & Pams. If they got rid of her, clean the place up a little the place could be salvaged. ref: 9387

We spent New Year's Eve at Surfside, staying across the street from Neal & Pam's, so we could leave the car parked. Love Neal & Pam's! Good cold beer, very friendly and welcoming locals, but the best part were the bartenders -- they're the best. We'll be back for Super Bowl!! ref: 4676

Neal & Pam's is our favorite place to visit when we are at the Beach. We found this bar about 7 years ago and never miss stopping by. We love Molly (the boxer) too. The atmosphere is great and the locals make you feel right at home. We have seen some very good entertainment there as well. ref: 3192

Great little place to grab a drink and shoot some pool. Laid back atmosphere and not too wild like some places. Prices for mixed drinks half of what you would pay somewhere else. Its just a neat little place to take it easy. ref: 2325
