Review: Best food on the beach. We vacation there every year and have to eat there at least 3 times per trip. Love the mango sauce. You can eat that with anything....delicious. Friendly management and excellent service.

Review: I lived in Myrtle Beach for a few years. Andrew's Mrs Fish is the only thing I miss about MB. Every time I go back to MB on business, I make sure I go to Mrs Fish. If you go, tell him Mr. "One more chance" sent you. He'll tell you the story. My favorites are the grilled tuna and the fish stew.

Review: Excellent food, excellent service. Better quality than any big buffet style restaurant. Its a "hole in the wall" but it adds to the atmosphere. My familiy and I will return next time we visit Myrtle Beach.

Review: This restaurant was absolutely worth every penny....you will NOT be disappointed. From now on whenever I travel to Myrtle Beach, I will definitely eat at Mr. Fish. I was really afraid to try it, but I am certainly glad I did....

Review: The food and service were outstanding. Tried it because of reviews on this site and we were not disappointed. Didn't know what to expect when we first walked in. This place is small and not dressed for show. The food is the show here. Our server worked her tail off. She and the cook were the only ones there, but nothing was overlooked. We ate there twice and always had leftovers. Prices were terrific. This will be a must eating place whenever we are in Myrtle Beach.

Review: This restaurant is the best kept secret in Myrtle Beach. Their food is excellent. The fish is fresh and prepared however you like it. The quantity of food is a very generous portion that I can never finish. This is a 'must go to' restaurant. Once you go, you will always go back! I love it!

Review: Looking for great seafood but not a chain. Found this "hidden local hangout". Great! Small inside but more food than you can eat. Guaranteed not to go away hungry. Loved the crab nuggets, flounder and shrimp and stir fry shrimp with noodles was delicious. Try is once and you will be back.

Review: WOW! What a find! These people work their butts off and it shows. My wife and I went with our two daughters (8 months and 9 years) and my wifes parents. There were many options for our picky 9 year old. Each of the adults ordered fish with various sauces. EVERYTHING was GREAT! They also had an appetizer special of shrimp and crab spring rolls and shrimp pot stickers that was awesome! The restaurant is a bit hidden, and is a locals favorite. It is truly a hidden treasure among all the tourist buffet joints that we hate so much.

Review: One of many hidden treasures for locals in the area, Mr S Fish provides great seafood dishes at very reasonable prices. It tends to be a favorite lunch spot among the many employees of the area and can be found packed in that time frame. The manager/owner is friendly and helpful and tends to treat people as family that are regulars. If you don't know the area it can be difficult to find and the outside areas can be intimidating, but just know that it's worth it.

Review: A long time ago before Mrs Fish was Mr Fish we tried it then and it was pretty good. Time went by and it became Mrs Fish, after that it became really good. We would go to lunch during the week at least once every week. Now sometimes the cook did not realize that he should start the fried items before the baked items and the people who ordered fried fish would get theirs first, but the food was always excellent! Now that I have moved from the beach, we still come back and will always eat at Mrs Fish!
And like everyone else said, the outside looks kinda like a dive, but the food is great. I am surprised by the person who got bad food. It could have been the takeout messed the cook up (no surprise), I would say try it again, just dine in.

Review: If you're looking for a fancy restuarant don't go here. But...... if you want excellent food with excellent service do go here. This is a "Mom & Pop" operation; nothing fancy, but well run. The food was excellent, and the co-owner/waitress Agnes is as pleasnat as they come. I asked a local where to go for good seafood and they recommended MRS. SMITH. The food was so good that my wife and I went there twice in the week we visited Myrtle Beach. This is totally non-touristy restuarant. Enjoy, and tell Agnes hello.

Review: Don't let the outside deter you from entering. Nothing fancy here, a small, but very friendly place--soon to become a regular for us. The BEST calamari, as well as the other entrees. Not a fan of the greasy french fries though.

Review: The person that wrote the review on 10-10-05 is either a retard or some stick-in-the-mud complaining transplant from up north. Mr. Fish is the bomb-B, esp. for the money. Trust a native.

Review: Don't let the appearance of this place fool you. It has the BEST seafood on the Grand Strand. Nothing fancy, just excellent seafood. Lunches are a real bargin and the dinners are very reasonable. Try the fish sandwich at lunch and see if you can eat it all = only $4.99. This place is a real secret but everyone needs to try it out.

Review: Don't let the area or the outside fool you. This is a funky place with great food and nice people. They serve large portions of fresh seafood & great fries. We're going back to try more!

Review: We have lived in Myrtle Beach for a little over a year now. We have been coming to the area for over 25 years as tourists. We can't believe we just found this place. Since we discovered it, we go once a week! We take all our out of town friends and relatives there! It is awesome. Super fast, friendly, and the food to die for! We are no strangers to good seafood, and it is the BEST! Great prices. Great portions. Great flavor!
You just can't go wrong!

Review: This is a great restaurant to bring the family. During the week it is packed with business people having lunch. On a Saturday our family loves to eat at the counter and watch our meals being cooked. There is always a variety of seafood and fish meals, and a varied menu of sides to be served. I love the grouper with green beans and gumbo over rice. My children love to watch the french fries being made from whole potatoes into the grill. We always tell them how this is what restaurants where like when we would go with our parents - clean, cosy, Delicious, with personal service!

Review: I tried this place twice for take out food and both times it was horrible. The first time it was undercooked (imagine, seafood undercooked!) and the second time it was cold. Never again have I, or will I, go there.

Review: My husband and I love this place! It is a little hole-in-the-wall, but don't be fooled, the food is top-notch.
The owner, Agnes, always comes around to chat with us, and she makes us feel very welcome. One you become a "regular," she will remember exactly what you like to eat and drink, and she'll bring it to you when you come in.
Everything I have ever eaten here is wonderful. The calamari (appetizer) and the crab cakes (entree) are the best that I have ever had. I have lived here since 1986, and I've eaten at my share of restaurants along The Grand Strand.
We drive from Cherry Grove to eat here every weekend, and it is very well worth it.
