Review: me and my buddy were looking for a place to shoot pool on saturday, 12/12/09..got the name of this place from our housekeeper at the Boardwalk Beach Resort, who called her daughter and this is where we went...right off the bat we were welcomed like old friends around 6:30, had a good time, meeting several good people, including management, staying until late...can't wait to go back...you know who i'am talking about!!!! Review: Me and my boyfriend came to Melons to have dinner and watch the UFC 100 on July 11, '09. It was the worst service we have ever had! Period.The waitress had memory loss and we ordered our entrees around 8:30pm and it is now 9:50 and my boyfriend still has not received his ribeye he ordered. I received my dinner and have been done for a while. Basically we are not pleased with the service and food.
My entree did not come out on the plate with what was supposed to be on it.

Review: Melons really is one of the best places to go in Myrtle Beach!! Whoever says they don't like it is just a h8er!!! They have the best environment for ANYONE!!! Def comin back to MB just to see Carmen and Aubrey!!!!

Review: Dear 4-21-08, your a hater! this place is the bomb. The new management really came thru and turned this place around. The jukebox has all the newest songs. The bartenders are the best....hi marcia. Melons is very opened culture now. I love diversity! they show all the ufc/mma fights for free. There lounge area is hooked up with an xbox 360 and a wii. They got a great bar selection and the staff is friendly and on point. I recommend this place to anyone!.

management changes constantly....and the whole place is very disorganized and ran poorly. Don't waste your time.

Review: This place is cool.. New owners Chad and Shaun. They have a pool tourny every Friday night. The beer is the coldest. The wait staff are the best.. They have changed this place around from what it was.. They have all the UFC fights for free. Everybody needs to come check that place out..

Review: I love Melons even though they are under new management. They have added a lot of nice flat screen tvs around the bar so you can watch any game. They have serveral pool tables that are in pretty good shape. They also have a new area with xbox 360 and guitar hero on a nice big screen tv. However i do miss the dart boards they use to have there and they dont carry coors light on tap anymore. The food is pretty good and it comes out fast. The bartenders are great and very helpful in describing the different kind of drinks they have. I would def recommend this place

Review: Went down with a group of guys on a golf vacation. Our cart girl told us to hit Melons up on Tuesday Night. It was college night and boy it was a good time. excellent drink specials and a ton of fine ladies! Great Wings!

Review: Me and some friends went to Melons and had an awesome time. The food was awesome, the beer was cold, and everyone was having a good time. We even tipped the waitress, Carmen, like $80. We also sang karaoke all night til' it closed. We actually got told to leave. Props to Melons.

Review: Great sports bar, wonderful food and staff. I have to do take out because of the smoke except for going during non-peak times, but this place is great. The rasberry flavored wings are unbelievable.

Review: The boys and I went down with a Golf Wizard package and found Melons one of the VERY few locations to have the NHL hockey package on satelite. During the start of the playoffs, this was phenomenal. The owner, Jack was a character and our waitress Candice was great...don't mess with her though! The service was top end. The Yuengling beer promotion girls were an added bonus. Wings were very good, the hockey was great but the variety of music was the most interesting and unique...they played everything...country, rock, rap, top40. Definitely a regular stop when we hit the south next year.

Review: Hey Came down with Myrtle Beach Wizards golf and had a great time. The Bus Boy Jack (owner) hires only the best in staff and the atmosphere was the great. The waitresses were friendly and always ready to serve us. Hope to see you all next year.
