Review: My wife and I took some friends to Lonestar for dinner, We never had been there. The service was pretty good, The Steak was Outstanding, better than Outback! Their grilled shrimp was incredible, Our waitress said they cut their own steaks everyday. The whole experience was delightful.

Review: Great steak place. Best of the bunch on the south end of Myrtle Beach. Too bad they took away the roasted peanuts in the shell. They do the best baked sweet potatoes = you don't need the brown sugar or cinnamon.

Review: I usually always get a medium cooked steak and fries, salad and a Blooming Onion. I have never had bad service or bad food. I always look forward to eating at Lone Star.

Review: I love their Texas Rose, it is to Die For. They have the best one with out a doubt. The grilled shimp is awsome also. I get that every time I go.

Review: Ate dinner at the Lone Star on Thurs, 10/6, and my friend and I sat at the bar as we wanted to watch baseball playoffs. The restaurant was not busy at all, nor was the bar area. The barmaid that waited on us was very nice & personable, so service was not an issue in that sense. The food was OK. I had "steak soup" which really was what I would consider beef stew, and a salad with grilled chicken. All in all, food was average. What turned me off about this place though was the cleanliness. I spilled some beer so I wiped it with a napkin and my napkin was very dirty from the bar. Then I looked up and saw the wine/drink glasses hanging from a rack and on several glasses I saw lipstick stains and fingerprints. I wanted a glass of wine, and I pointed out to the barmaid the glass I wanted it in (as I could see it was clean). She gave me a look like "why are you being so picky?". I explained to her that I could see a few of the glasses had lipstic on them & others were dirty. She gave me the glass I wanted for wine, but didn't take down the other glasses to clean. As a matter of fact, those glasses were used for other customers. Won't be returning to this restaurant.
