My wife and I had the great fortune to eat here this past saturday night...we are locals and are very picky about where we go, trying to avoid chains and touristy restaurants. This quaint little gem was recommended by some of our neighbors, and we decided to give it a try. The service was fantastic from the time we walked in the door until we left for the evening - very attentive and prompt. The atmosphere is very nice; romantic and dim, as it should be for a small bistro like this. The food was exquisite - we had a tomato and mozzarella appetizer that was out of this world, my wife had the filet with a red pepper sauce that was prepared to its medium rare perfection, and I had the chicken rolletini - the best ive ever had. Both of us had a fresh garden salad with homemade bleu cheese dressing that was perfect with huge chunks of cheese and just the right texture, our sides were great portions of garlic mashed potatoes and baby carrots. We ordered dessert to go, and the next day we were both floored by the raspberry cheesecake and the death by chocolate cake. We highly recommend this wonderful little place - as a previous poster said, you will pay about half of what you would pay at some of the more well known italian/american bistro's here in town, and you will have twice the experience. Well done, lombardo's.

Was in Lombardo's just last week with friends and was simply blown away with our experience. To keep it short, the food, atmosphere and service was exceptionnal!! We were all pleased and plan on returning on a weekly basis. The mussels and the flat iron steak were some of our favorites. Very affordable. I found it to be a fraction of the cost of similar restaurants of that caliber. I would recommend this place to everyone visiting and living in the area...Truly a winner!!

My husband and I are M.B. locals, and we are delighted to have discovered this bistro which manages to balance an atmosphere of date-night intimacy with comfortable family friendliness. The food is excellent, and we mean all of it, not just parts of it. The fare is also very reasonably priced - the freshly baked bread and sweet butter, the crab cake starter (in a city of crab cakes, this one stands out), our very fresh salads (all dressings are homemade), our pork loin and salmon entrees, and the desserts - ooh la la! Do yourself a favor and go to Lombardo's!

My wife and I visited Lombardo's this past Tuesday for the first time and had an aboslutely wonderful experience. We were pleasantly greeted at the door and seated promptly. Our dinner was preceeded with fresh hot baggette rolls and hand whipped butter which were great. As an appetiezer we shared an order of Tomato and Mozzarella that is served with warm basil and balsamic vinagerette. Each of our entrees came with a crisp salad which included tomato, cucumber, red onion, and black olives. For dinner, I had the Filet Mignon and my wife had the Maple Glazed Salmon. My filet came out cooked to a perfect medium and topped with a roasted red pepper sauce. My wife's salmon was topped with a fresh peach and a Jim Beam, brown sugar, and pecan butter sauce. Both dinners were absolutely delicious! We finished our meal with a desert of fresh baked bread pudding made with bourbon sauce and an after dinner drink from the fully stocked bar. It is very refeshing to have a very nice restaurant with a great atmosphere right here in our own neighborhood away from the hustle and bustle of the normal corporate run environments. I highly recommend anyone in the area to stop by check out the friendly staff and great food at Lombardo's!
