This has to be the best kept secret in myrtle beach. The food was excelent and so was the service. We come to myrtle beach twice a year and will return to this place every time.

Ate at Lombardo's last March 2010 and again in October 2010, Both times were wonderful. However when we ate there on 3/22/2010, the experience was terrible. My wife had the steak marsala (medium). It was very tough and the marsala was tasteless. I had the veal rollitini ( the waiter told me the chef would make it for me, not being on the menu). It was SOUR. The waiter (a Shepherd Smith look-a-lke) never aknowledged the problem and told me how good it was even though I could only eat two bites of it. UNBELIEVABLE! We'll never go back.. When I asked if there was a new chef, the waiter only laughed and said, "not really". NEVER AGAIN!!!

I would like everyone to know that has bought an International Dining Club card that Lombardo's does not automatically honor them or any other coupons. Please advise them before you reserve a table or order so you will know what they will do. We had dinner there tonight and were told that it was a holiday and that they had chosen not to honor any cards or discounts and that actually even if not a holiday, they still don't have to honor them, which was also surprising since there are no restrictions written on the card. We were not treated nicely and we will not be going back there.

We visited Myrtle Beach in 2009 and it was the best meal we had while we were there. Always had the sunset special. One of the reasons for returning this year was for the food at Lombardos very disappointed to find out they no longer did the sunset specials. For that reason we did not eat there.

From the minute my husband and I entered this establishment we felt at home..We were greeted with promptness and the service and food were exceptional!! Best filet and grouper we have ever had...both just melted in our mouths...After reviewing all 13 comment previously and noticed 2 out of 13 were not good....we came to the conclusion it must have been a bitter ex-employee...We would recommend this place to everyone who loves exceptional food and service...Thanks to Lombardo's for being in Myrtle Beach

What a wonderful experiance we had eating at this restaurant.Great food, and atmosphere, waiter was the best, and the food was priced right and reasonable. We had veal and a filet mignon which was superb. THIS PLACE IS #1 and when in Myrtle Beach it has to be tried. You will never regret it.

My wife & I ate here last week. Outstanding! She said the eggplant was the best she ever had. My steak-marsala was excellent. I asked for it to be medium to well and it was perfect. I cut it with my fork. Service was great, seating was immediate and the atmosphere was warm and friendly.WE'll be back for sure.

This was my first time dining at Lombardo's. The food was excellent. We had a tiramisu that was out of this world. It is a small, quaint restaurant sitting off the beaten path but worth finding. I encourage everyone to try this place.

When John Lombardo opened this restaurant, the food was spectacular. Chef Buddy came to our table and discussed with us how he came to create such delicious food. However, the last two times we visited the restaurant they told us that Chef Buddy was "off" and come to find out he was actually layed off. The food was horrible and uncomparable to the food he created. We will not be returning and he lost one of the best chefs that made one of the best meals I have ever eaten.

In a word, excellent. my wife had lobster, I had linguini w/shrimp&mussels. egg plant w/ cheese & marinara sauce. All the food and drinks, service were the best we had during our stay. If the bartender @ Ocean Reef had not told us of Lombardo's we never would have known about this fantastic bistro. Dennis our waiter outstanding w/ his service 10/20/09

My husband and i visted this restaurant last week. I have to tell you in all the years of coming to myrtle beach i have never enjoyed such great service. The gentlemen that waited on us was awesome!! Mike was so wonderful. He was very sweet and kind and suggested the best food i have eaten in a while. The food was just to die for. We enjoyed ourselves so much that is the only place we ate all week long. The prices was great. Finally a good place to visit time after time. I 100% suggest this place to everyone who comes to myrtle beach for good food.

My wife and I had the great fortune to eat here this past saturday night...we are locals and are very picky about where we go, trying to avoid chains and touristy restaurants. This quaint little gem was recommended by some of our neighbors, and we decided to give it a try. The service was fantastic from the time we walked in the door until we left for the evening - very attentive and prompt. The atmosphere is very nice; romantic and dim, as it should be for a small bistro like this. The food was exquisite - we had a tomato and mozzarella appetizer that was out of this world, my wife had the filet with a red pepper sauce that was prepared to its medium rare perfection, and I had the chicken rolletini - the best ive ever had. Both of us had a fresh garden salad with homemade bleu cheese dressing that was perfect with huge chunks of cheese and just the right texture, our sides were great portions of garlic mashed potatoes and baby carrots. We ordered dessert to go, and the next day we were both floored by the raspberry cheesecake and the death by chocolate cake. We highly recommend this wonderful little place - as a previous poster said, you will pay about half of what you would pay at some of the more well known italian/american bistro's here in town, and you will have twice the experience. Well done, lombardo's.

Was in Lombardo's just last week with friends and was simply blown away with our experience. To keep it short, the food, atmosphere and service was exceptionnal!! We were all pleased and plan on returning on a weekly basis. The mussels and the flat iron steak were some of our favorites. Very affordable. I found it to be a fraction of the cost of similar restaurants of that caliber. I would recommend this place to everyone visiting and living in the area...Truly a winner!!

My husband and I are M.B. locals, and we are delighted to have discovered this bistro which manages to balance an atmosphere of date-night intimacy with comfortable family friendliness. The food is excellent, and we mean all of it, not just parts of it. The fare is also very reasonably priced - the freshly baked bread and sweet butter, the crab cake starter (in a city of crab cakes, this one stands out), our very fresh salads (all dressings are homemade), our pork loin and salmon entrees, and the desserts - ooh la la! Do yourself a favor and go to Lombardo's!

My wife and I visited Lombardo's this past Tuesday for the first time and had an aboslutely wonderful experience. We were pleasantly greeted at the door and seated promptly. Our dinner was preceeded with fresh hot baggette rolls and hand whipped butter which were great. As an appetiezer we shared an order of Tomato and Mozzarella that is served with warm basil and balsamic vinagerette. Each of our entrees came with a crisp salad which included tomato, cucumber, red onion, and black olives. For dinner, I had the Filet Mignon and my wife had the Maple Glazed Salmon. My filet came out cooked to a perfect medium and topped with a roasted red pepper sauce. My wife's salmon was topped with a fresh peach and a Jim Beam, brown sugar, and pecan butter sauce. Both dinners were absolutely delicious! We finished our meal with a desert of fresh baked bread pudding made with bourbon sauce and an after dinner drink from the fully stocked bar. It is very refeshing to have a very nice restaurant with a great atmosphere right here in our own neighborhood away from the hustle and bustle of the normal corporate run environments. I highly recommend anyone in the area to stop by check out the friendly staff and great food at Lombardo's!
