We were in a hurry before the Pelicans game and the other restaurants had waits so we chose here... Bad choice! Everything seemed fine at first, they had squeezed too many chairs in at the table so each chair was touching but we were ok with that. Then they seated the table behind us. I am not sure how that table even got into their seats, cause once they were seated out chairs were touching. Then the waitress rang in my husband's order twice and did not ring in mine. We our meals came she argued with our table that someone else had ordered a brat when we said no I ordered a flatbread she disappeared. Finally after everyone else was half way done we asked her about mine she said someone else had taken it.. How is that my problem? Finally the manager brought it out and all he said was careful this plate is really hot .. And then being pregnant I have to get up and reach over three chairs to get this hot plate from the manager and as I said there was no room to move my chair to get up. No apologizing at all ever came from anyone there! We paid for drinks a and never got refills cause they can't get to you to give you refills . Absolutely the worst restuarant I have ever been to!

Currently dog friendly which is great since we go everywhere with our westie and Scottie. Sat outside and was absolutely delightful. Good menu choices, great service and great prices! Would definitely come here again.

This was the worst meal my husband and I have ever tried to eat, Both of our entrees were absolutely horrible. He had the meatloaf and I had loin of beef. I really do not think it was beef. I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone. Complete waste of money!!!!!!

My wife and I stopped in on a Sunday about 3 PM for an early supper and had options from the lunch menu. We were both hungry for a good steak, so we each ordered the $21.00 filet mignon. We both ordered the steak "medium" and it arrived cooked properly with garlic mashed potatoes. The steak was good, but could have been seasoned a bit more, even for my bland taste buds. It was at least 8 oz. and a good value for the lunch menu. Our server was outstanding. Okay, it wasn't busy, but the guy never made us wait for anything and tended to our every need very quickly. I'm not a restaurant expert, but have eaten at many restaurants in the area and can't conceive of getting better service than that provided to us that day. The Liberty Lager was a nice tasting beer and I will not hesitate to eat there again. One thing I noticed, though, was that it was rather loud inside even though it was pretty empty.

Staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Food was great got two Filets cooked medium and medium rare, which were perfectly cooked and melted in our mouths. Handcrafted beers were a delight, our server, which we thought wasn't even of age to drink knew his stuff and recommended a few beers to us compared to what we normally drink. He was on point. I got the IPA and my wife got the White. They were delicious! Then he forced (convinced) us to get the homemade banana fosters' cheesecake. One of the best pieces of cheesecake we have ever had. Please don't let some biased reviews keep you from stopping in this gem. Spent about $70 on dinner and was better than a few places we spent more than $100 at.

My parents, my girlfriend and I just got out of Liberty. Although it seemed really crowded when we waiting (it is St. Patrick's Day, they had a live band), there were multiple empty tables inside, which made us wonder why we waited 30 minutes (and why it took so long to do anything). It took a while to be waited on, and even though we had decided what we wanted to order (we had plenty of time to do so) the waitress did not give us the opportunity when she took our drink order. Half of us got our drinks first, and half of those were wrong. The bar manager did come out to explain (grumpily) about the drink though, and my girlfriend got the drink she wanted. the salads were awesome (great blue cheese dressing), and my parents food came out and was OK. The pizza we ordered did not appear though, and the waitress came out and told us it was overcooked, and they were making another. About 15 minutes later the bar manager came back out to explain about the pizza, and we told him we were stuffed and they could just box it up. He said we didn't have to take it and they would not charge us for it, but it was brought out while he was saying that. At that point I felt like I had been pulled over by a S. Carolina State cop, as he became a bit impatient with us and barked "What do you want to do with the pizza sir". I don't understand why a manager would come out about a situation we didn't complain about in the first place and then give us attitude. In the end we took the pizza, and when we got it home, of course it was not what we ordered, and the toppings that were on the pizza looked like they had been thrown toward the pizza, and some happened to stick. The sad thing is everyone agreed to go to Liberty because I love beer, and the stout I had was really pretty bad. Doubt we will return.

We recently had a horrible customer service experience at Liberty Tap Room in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. After having been seated a server named Bradley presented us with a promotional menu titled '2 for 1 menu'. We were surprised since we had previously heard about this promotion and were under the belief that that promotion had ended in January. So we proceeded to ask the waiter to confirm that we had the right menu's in our hand and he explained that the promotion had been extended till march and that everything on the menu was 2 for 1, hence the '2 for 1 menu'. Despite the fact that this menu afforded us the possibility to order extremely expensive entrees for half the price, we were really in the mood to enjoy bar food. So we decided to really order a disgusting amount of food in order to take advantage of the promotion, ordering four appetizers. After a kitchen hand gave us our food , Bradley never checked back on us, which proved especially fatal since part of our order had not been brought out and we were not offered the usual condiments. During our whole dining experience Bradley seemed to be extremely successful at ignoring our attempts to wave him down in order to rectify the situation. All the way at the end of our dinner he finally decided to give us a moment of his attention and since we no longer needed the condiments we simply asked for the rest of our food. Bradley was not very agreeable or apologetic and seemed to be generally not interested in rectifying the problem. I would also like to note that the restaurant was not particularly busy. The next insult was that when we received the bill we noticed that none of the items had been discounted according to the menu. After having a talk with what must have been the hostess or manager (she never introduced herself) we were told that this would be rectified. However shortly after she disappeared with the check, Bradley came back to the table and explained us that he must have misspoken to us. The promotion did not include everything on the -2 for 1- menu, only entrees. The check again was not discounted. In the end, we paid more--a lot more--to eat greasy fries and chicken fingers as we would have to order salmon and crabcakes. This put us both , having been waiters at once in our life into an awkward and horrible position. Being used to tip normally well above 20% we were now left with the only option of showing our disapproval of the bad service by tipping an appropriately low amount of 11%. Still our whole dining experience was ruined and with that our evening. Definetly not a pleased customer

Dropped in for dinner and Monday Night Football. Sat in the outdoor covered patio area where smoking is permitted. I ordered the Maryland crab cakes which I would rate as average with quite a bit of filler. My wife's beef tenderloin was excellent. We had 2 drinks each, and the bill was $69 plus tip. Service was excellent. Would go back again.

1st off i ordered an ABIDA rasberry wheat. That came out flat and bitter. Lousy. I asked if i could try the house's Liberty unfiltered wheat. The waitress brought it out. Clear, hardly foggy like a wheat, bitter and hoppy. Def an IPA. The waitress took that back and the manager came with another just the same. I tasted it. I told him its an IPA. He said it is def their wheat. I know sometimes beer recipes come out slightly off flavor. I brew a variety of homebrews and do it pretty well. Anyone who's into homebrews knows the diff between a wheat and an IPA. He asked me if I was a professional. ARGGHH! It was not a bad tastin IPA so i just shut my mouth and drank it. For a second beer i ordered a Pabst blue ribbon to "rock the sure shot" and sure enough, it was a Pabst. 2nd I ordered a smokehouse burger minus the barbeque well done. Got that with the barbeque, rare. I let that go because it was still a decent tastin burger and my wife also had issues with her food so i figured we would just pick our battles. She ordered the Tuna with mango salsa. Tuna was dry and chewy, no flavor or spices. No mangos in the salsa. Just a pico with some oranges in it. The reason we went there was because we had a good experience 2 years before so we were a repeat customer. Although they did take my wifes food off the bill, I would not go back there to eat and prob not go back for a beer unless i was willing to settle for a plain ole PBR.

We were very disappointed with the meals since we had previously had satisfactory meals at this restaurant. We were a party of nine people. Four ordered filet mignon which was difficult to consider steak. They were tough, fatty, and too expensive. Definitely not a good cut of meat. The salmon was burned on one side, potatoes and pasta were also cold when served.

The salmon that I ordered was small for 8 oz. It looked to me somewhere around 4 ounces. The salmon was very dry and overcooked. The price was outrageous. Salmon should not cost $$$$ if it is going to be small and overcooked. I did complained but did not receive any satisfaction. I was not offered a discount on the meal. My daughter received the incorrect meal three times. She ordered the 2 mini crab cakes and hambuger. They kept trying to give her the tuna. Her crab cakes were definitely mini and her hamburger was cold let alone very late in arriving. We all finished our meals by the time hers arrived. We will not recommend this place and will not go back.

Asparagus lovers beware. The beef tenderloins tasted like...oh, wait there was no taste. The service was the only thing worse than the food. Good atmosphere and decor, however treat this like a museum rather than a restaurant (look but don't eat!)

We have eaten at the Liberty Steakhouse on Celebrity Circle many times and enjoyed our meals there. Unfortunately, the Liberty Taproom at 7651 N. Kings Highway is a completely different story. The food was the worst we have been served in many years. The steaks were tough and tasted awful. The asparagus tasted like burnt charcoal ash. Needless to say, we will not be going back. In addition to the very poor food, the manager was a jerk and yelled at our waitress because we complained about the quality of the food.

The service was acceptable, even though our server brought out the food but forgot utensils. Okay, it happens. Prices were fairly reasonable. The food, however, was mediocre at best. I seriously doubt that my shrimps were fresh. If they were, the poor little buggers must have died of old age. The coating on the shrimps was somewhat bland, mushy and greasy. The fries were the same, oily and not hot. Some in our party had fish and chips. Again, the fish may have expired of old age and the coating was soggy. I hadn’t a clue as to what kind of dressing was on the coleslaw; nor did anyone one else in our party of five. We were, however, unanimous in our dislike for what ever it was. I don’t even know if I’d stop in there, in the future, even for a beer. They don’t know how to pour a Guinness. When I asked the bartender if he’d let it rest before topping it off, he begrudgingly obliged me. Fifteen minutes later I received a short flat pint of Guinness. Needless to say, I was not pleased. All-in-all, it was mediocrity at it’s best.
