Had a corned beef on rye. It's hard to mess that up. Hub's reuben was only lightly toastede, not pan fried like he expected. I thought the potato salad was excellent. ref: 18015 |

I tried the mini rueben at the Taste of the Town and is was excellent. I cant wait to go to the restaurant to have the larger version. The corn beef was so tender it melted in your mouth.
It was the best thing I had there all night. ref: 17569 |

I have visited this eatery twice, both times I was thrilled. I appreciate a staff who know their products and are willing to discuss them with the uninformed. The value is great. I ate a chicken salad that was fresh and prepared with skill. Just the think after a stint of sun-bathing. The next visit was wonderful. I asked for products to create a custom breakfast like I was accustomed to having in Europe, no problem. The staff make every effort to serve each customer with patience and skill. I will be visiting them often when I'm enjoying the beaches of the Grand Strand. Their deli is far above the routine available in the region. What a treasure! ref: 16519 |

My wife and I happen to see the restaurant and when we entered it smelled so good, had to try a sandwich. Ordered a hot conrned beef on rye with a side of coleslaw. Boy, was that good! This was the best corned beef we have tasted in a long time! The coleslaw was outrageous, had to purchase a pound to take home.
My wife and I will definately go to this restaurant again.
Only advice, put a little more beef on the sandwich.
We loved it!!!!! ref: 16510 |

Food was good but portions were very small for the price. Sandwhich (I ordered a Reuben) did not inlcude a lot of meat and the side dish was served in a little tiny side cup (usually reserved for a side of dressing). I would like to conclude by saying that this deli has New York prices but not New York portions. Oh and the gentleman behind the counter was nice and smiled and joked with the customers while the woman behind the grill who took our order didn't smile and didn't have much of a personality. It isn't called the hospitality industry for nothing! ref: 16189 |
