Review: Its my girlfriends birthday today, shes craving for seafood, good thing we saw joes crabshack, its our very first time to eat in this restaurant. They have a lot of crab and seafood choices, we tried their classic crab pot, its outstanding, and we tried the seafood platter that comes with steamed and fried shrimp, and the maui fish. The atmosphere is really great :) keep it up..

Review: On Vacation from the UK and visiting MB. Went to Broadway today and my kids wanted to go into Johnny Rockets for Lunch. WHAT A MISTAKE. We visit family in the States each year, and this is the worst restuarant we have EVER eaten at. The food was the most overpriced trash I have ever had the misfortune to order. 3 hot dogs 1 fries 2 shakes, 2 sodas and a small bowl of Chilli . . . . . wait for it - $50 !!!!!!!!!!! (excluding tip). The service was poor after waiting for them to stop singing and dancing and clapping (none of it in time). POOR POOR POOR. BE WARNED - STAY AWAY AND SAVE YOUR MONEY AND EAT SOMEWHERE ELSE (MCDONALDS IS BETTER AND HALF THE PRICE).

Review: this was our first time eating at rockets.we ordered some burgers,onion rings,fries and shakes.the banana split shake was awesome by the way.some of us got the double rocket burger and boy it was BIG!!!imagine 2 large thick patties...way too much for the average person but still very tasty.our waiter was very nice and drew the kids happy faces with ketchup on the plate which was nice.the waiters sang and danced to a song which was fun.the music they play is awesome if you like oldies,which i do .the price of the meal was over $100 for 5 adults and 2 kids meals.so i'd say it's very pricey for burgers,but that's what you pay anywhere on broadway.that's why i gave it 4/5 due to price.

Review: Great family eatery! Not only did we thoroughly enjoy the food, but the added entertainment was worth our time as well!! Kids really enjoyed the jukebox at the table and the singing,dancing wait staff.

Review: Just took the fam to this place for a quick burger. Biggest mistake of entire vacation! Staff was mainly kids who thought they were cute. Jacked up prices for lousy, slimey, small burgers that were priced way past reality for what one receives. Wait staff mostly interested in dancing on tables, dancing outside, dancing anywhere! Took forever to get butgers-after fries and onion rings were served 10 minutes earlier? Wife's burger was cold in middle-seriously. Told manager and he looked like we were kidding unitil I made him feel it. Mysteriously, a fresh hot slimey one was immed. brought to her. Skip this dump and eat anywhere else! Worst excuse for a burger anywhere in S. Carolina.

Review: Food and service was great! Great burger and fries! My husband and I went in starving and came out full. The wait staff always checked on us but they were not too pushy. The only thing I didn't like about Johnny's is that the wait staff had to clap and dance to the "oldies" in front of everyone. With that being said, however, I recommend this restaurant to everyone.

Review: Really loud, really overpriced. The guy who said that it is a place to go if you don't want to have conversation with your company hit the nail on the head. Styrofoam cups, paper plates. Fries are bland, but average for diner food. The burgers are pretty big, I will say; only for $7 on average without the fries!

Review: My daughter wanted to stop and eat at Johnny Rockets. I thought I remembered from our last trip to MB that they were a bit pricey. When we sat down and looked at the menu I was not going to pay $15 for a hamburger. My daughter gave the waiter a small order and the rest of the family did not. After that the waiter refused to wait on our table at all until my wife finally got up and make him. Will not go back and I advise anyone else not to go to this ripoff place unless they have a pocket full of cash. This experience ended ruining a perfectly good evening for our entire family.

Review: We love this place! we had two of our grandgrirls with us and one is 11 and one 13. The 13 year old sang and sang! her mom passed away may 8th and she was a big fan of the "oldies" even though she was just 42 years old. I grew up with those songs and always played them even after we had children, so that is where her love of the oldies came from. Also, we bought 4 shirts, when we got home, one had a sun bleach mark down it, I called and the young lady said to mail it back to them and they would send me a new one. What service. And we appreciate that very much. It was one of the grandgirls and we do not want her not to have it. Review: Johnny Rockets was a restraunt to be entertained in. not to eat. the food was horrible!! but that atmosphere was awesome. & so was the ice cream. so i guess that it was okay. but if you go there make sure you go there after you have gone some whenere else for dinner, & just get dessert there! Review: Awful!!!! I don't know how they are in business. Tried it twice because I was sure I was unlucky the first time...Wrong. Food is terrible....tiny amount of cold fries, greasy, burger like a hockey puck. They have the waitstaff dance and it's sooo sad to see them. They roll their eyes and don't put any effort into it. You feel uncomfortable watching them.

Review: Burgers are very dry and have to order fries and rings on the side, kind of pricey, drinks way over priced. Noise level, only go here if you don't want to have conversation with anyone you are eating with.

Review: One of the best places to get fast-food in the country.Johnny Rockets rocks.Great management,good food,clean,friendly people.The managers on the floor were always present walking around tables asking people how's the food and things like that.I remember one girl that she was working as a floor manager, she was sweet and she had an accent.She was really cute.Great experince! Will go back.

Review: My wife and I were at Broadway just taking in the scenery and decided to eat at Johnny Rockets. We had a very good time, and a very good experience.The food was good and also the service. If you are a picky eater and alway's want to complain than I suggest that you stay at home and let your wife or husband cook for you that way you can't blame it on the Restaurants that you eat at. Review: I went back to Myrtle Beach for the first time in years and Johnny Rockets I was told was great. Me and my family went. Serving sizes were very small and very high. The food wasn't the best either. Some of my family said they had been there before and the last time they went it was terrible. Won't be going back at all on my vacation.

Review: This restaurant was the only one in the whole entire area of Broadway that didnt have up to a 5 hour wait.So thankfully,we did get seated right away.A party of 7! The food that I was served wasnt that good.But that milkshaes were tasty.I got grilled cheese, not a lot of flavor.But their specialty is burgers, I got over it. The service was a bit slow,but it was full and they were very packed.It was okay. For a party of seven, it was only $47!!!!!! It was very loud but very well themed, I mean there were people dancing everywhere.It was fun and so Seventies:]] Nice!

Review: Johnny Rockets is a cute little place, and I've been several times. Lunch cost us around 25 dollars. We had burgers and SHARED a large fry. I do think they are a bit pricey, but it's Myrtle Beach. What place isn't overpriced in a touristy place? The waitstaff seems THRILLED to dance- not really. Our waitress was wonderful and she was very attentive. I would suggest eating here as long as you're prepared to spend around 12+ per person. It's a fun place and the shakes are great!

Review: First time visitor and unfortunately a last time. Service and food are good, but the theme is NOT worth paying $15 for a burger fries and a shake. This is not Disney World. Only idiots or the Bush's could find their prices reasonable.

If you want cheap food GO TO MCDONALDS! wait then if you do you may sue them for giving you diabetis! you ppl are dumb...the ones that think that a party of 6 can eat for less than 100.00. Review: Johnny Rockets has always been a good place to go - this was my first visit to this location and I wasn't impressed with the wait staff except for our waitress who was the only waitress dressed decent! Get real the manager should not allow his waitresses to wear see through blouses with pink bras or see through mini skirts with thongs! I know this is the beach but this restaurant is suppose to be more family friendly! Not a Vegas club! My visit was on May 30, 2008 and I took some friends for the first time to a Johnny Rocket's - hope they will visit others and realize it was only this location that had improper dressed employees!

Review: I've been going here for years so I thought I'd write a review. The food is good the atmosphere is great but the prices are CRAZY!!! Like most reviewer say it is about $15-20 per person for a hamburger meal. If I lived at MB I'd never eat here value vs price is not good.But I come once a year and my wife and kids like it so I'll pay $40 for lunch. It's a vacation I'm here to have fun!

Review: It is the perfect place to go and have a burger, fries or drink. The service is good, I should know cause i severd there and trained some of the staff. I would recomend it to everybody. Johnny Rockets for the holiday you won't forget.

Review: RIDICULOUS!! Prices are outrageously high! You would think that Wolfgang Puck was behind the counter making the hot dogs for the price they were asking. Ordered a chicken sandwich and received a chicken nugget on a cold and hard sub roll. If you are looking for bad dancers to take your mind off the lousy food this is the place to be.

Review: We love this place and have been coming every summer the last 5 years. We come for the food especially the burgers and of course the dancing. Our kids love seeing the workers dance and have often participated with them outside. We definately think the menu is way over-priced and therefore usually only eat there once in the week we are there. Review: I have been going to this restaurant for the past 4 years, but this past year, we went just to grab a shake (bc the food is WAY too expensive) bc we love the atmosphere...but in the middle of the day...they werent full, but we had to wait for a long time to be seated, and they sat us in the back so we couldnt see anything, and didnt let us move when we wanted...I ordered a grilled cheese, it took 25 minutes to get it the first time...and it wasnt even grilled. It doesnt take 25 minutes to put cheese on bread and not grill it. Not sure if I'll go back next week when we go back to the beach.

Review: Terrible service - waitress didn't speak english, ordering was a mess. Other tables having same problem, everybody was sending food back. Some kid working there tried table dancing and fell and got hurt, took forever, cost too much, never got all our order, we just put money on table and walked out because we couldn't get a correct bill, some lady was sreaming at the manager.......

Review: If the prices weren't so unreasonable, we would come more often. When it first opened, it was fun to watch the employees dance--which was part of the draw--but most do it now as if a gun is pointed at their head. You can tell they are miserable doing it. If you'd reduce your prices, you'd bring in more repeating local traffic year round rather than trying to live off the revenue you receive from overcharging the naive tourists once a year.

Review: The restaurant theme is fun. The malts are excellent. I had a hot dog and fries that were average. My husband felt the same about his burger and fries. Our bill was $29! The prices are insane! I don't mind to pay more for quality food, but for hamburgers and hot dogs! You've got to be kidding me!

Review: This place is great for a hamburger, fries/onion rings, and a milk shake. It's usually crowded around lunch time and dinner time, but you'll be seated pretty quick in between then. The service is ok, but everyone's really nice and polite.

Review: We were seated immediately upon arriving but it took about 20 minutes for our meal to arrive which consisted of 2 drinks and 2 Patty Melt sandwitches.

The sandwiches were GREASY beyond belief and barely warm. The meat covered LESS than half of the bread and had more the taste of sausage than fresh hamburger.

It was apparent that the servers were not well supervised. They were congregated in small groups, chatting with each other and did not present the neatest appearance for servers.

Our true openion is that this restaurant is in need of a management wakeup and the supervisors and servers need some serious training.

This was an unfortunate experience because prior visits at this and the Johnny Rockets at Barefoot landing were very pleasant experiences.

Review: Food and service is just OK....prices are high and more than I want to spend when eating with the family. Atmosphere is nostalgic, but not worth the over-priced and under-portioned menu items. Stop by and look in the windows to enjoy that 50's look! Then go somewhere else to eat to get your money's worth.

Review: I understand the atmosphere of this establishment and know about the dancing and such but, I went there about 3 weeks ago, (after labor day) and waited almost 20 minutes to be seated. No lie, 6 people looked at me and my friend (who is very pregnant) but did not even seat us. The worst part is I am a local. Establishments like this rely on local business in the winter time to get them through and should think very carefully about how they serve their customers. Bad word of mouth spreads fast!!!

Review: We went here for lunch 8/30/06. My 2 teenage daughters absolutely *loved* this place. The waiters/waitresses dance in sync during certain songs, and really get into it. They were dancing on ledges next to the booth and the kids really got a kick out of it. The waiter even got everyone to join him for a second song per my daughter's request. The service was above average and our waiter really seemed to enjoy working there. The burgers were really good and the atmosphere takes you back to a 50's diner. The price is the only reason we didn't return during our stay: 2 burgers, 3 orders of french fries and 3 drinks cost $40.00. It's worth going once for the experience but expect it to be a bit pricey.

Review: My three little guys love the atmosphere, but that is what you are paying for. You will get better food at most fast food burger places. The service was very good, but the food mediocre and the prices too high. Avoid the chili bowl...looks great on the menu, actual product does not measure up.
