Review: This has to be one of the best supper clubs in the southeast. My wife and I dine here 3 to 4 times each year, or when we have people come in from out of town. We have never been disapointed with the food, service or music.

Review: Absolutly wonderful, so much so that my boyfriend proposed at the front door! Needless to say, I will never forget this place! But besides that the food was delicious, the atmosphere was perfect, and the band was AMAZING! If you have a chance I would certainly make this one of your dinner options! :-)

Review: My wife and I went to Jasmine's for the 1st time last November to see Spyro Gyra perform. We where VERY impressed.
Jasmine's is a rare find for any city, and a well kept secret for Myrtle Beach.
The ambiance is elegant, with chandaliers, candle lit tables, a small dance floor and a comfortable seperate bar that makes wonderful drinks. We where pleased that it a no smoking establishment. The owner welcomed us upon arriving and made sure that we where seated promptly. We where seated at a comfortable, intimate table by a friendly, attentive waitress who took and delivered our drinks within minutes.
The food is high quality gourmet, BUT reasonably priced. Entrees start at 14-16 dollars. (about half what we pay for equivalent quality in Pawleys Island). I had salmon with a wonderful butter sauce and my wife had what she described as the tenderest porkchop she has ever eaten at a restaurant. We split their "signature" salad, which included two deep fried golf-ball sixed pieces of warm cheese (yummy). But I am going back for their dessert, the chocolate pyramid, a light chocolate mousse pyramid, with a white chocolate mousse center. This creation could make a grown man cry!
Jasmine's entertainment is their big draw. The dining room has no bad seats for viewing the band. The music system is crystal clear and not too loud. After watching the show we met the band in the bar area. It was pretty cool.
One last comment: This establishment is extremely clean.
Jasmine's is now our "go-to" for good jazz music and great food and drinks.

Review: My husband and I went to Jasmine's for our 10th anniversary. We ordered more than we normally would as we did appetizers, drinks, dinner and coffee and desserts. It was more than we normally spend, but for a special occassion it was well worth the quality of all the food. The shrimp cocktail came out and the shrimp were huge as well as the stuffed mushrooms. My husband got prime rib, which is his standard order and he said it was one of the best he has ever had and I had the filet Migion Oscar. So tender and tasted great. Even the veggies were wonderful. almost didn't have room for dessert, but had to try the carrot cake and cheesecake. Both great ends to a great meal. The service was great. The music was a bit high to hear our waitress, was at a better level during intermission, but could not complain as they J360 was awesome, a shame they are almost done there.
But the best part of the whole evening was when the owner Guy Johnson got onstage and played the sax. I have never been so moved in my whole life, except when I hear my husband play trumpet, by someone playing an instrument. I had to choke back tears of amazement. The lady behind me was literally in tears. He is such a remarkable player and "owns" the sax. We spoke to him as we were leaving and he even invited my husband to come jam with them in January. He was so polite to us and invited us to come back. We will definatley come back even if we just sit at the bar with a few drinks to hear the bands.
The only down side was the tables are bit close together and I wish their was a dance floor open to have a swing around the floor with my husband. But if you only have one special night out, try Jasmine's or at least go for dessert and drinks.

Review: My husband & I went there when they first opened up. The service, atmosphere and food was excellent. The music was out of this world and the service that we received was absolutely fabulous. That was about 2 years ago and this year we are planning on visiting Myrtle Beach, SC and cannot wait to visit Jasmines. We are taking some friends with us and I know they will enjoy that place as much as we did.

Review: Went to Jasmine's on a double date and had a wonderful time! The atmosphere was just what I wanted but never imagined. The guys didn't want to dress up but once we got there they were glad they did! The live Jazz band was great, wish I would have purchased their CD, and the wait staff was very attentive. The food was pricey and the serving size was small but that's the price you pay! If I were to do it again, I would have eaten my main course at a different restaurant and had dessert and/or drinks at Jasmine's! LOVE THE PLACE!

Review: This place is truly amazing. You will not think you are in Myrtle Beach. The food is reasonably priced and the servers all seem to work together for the good of the restaurant. You are greeted with a smile and you will smile when you wake up the next morning and recall your visit. Be sure and catch the bass player's jaw-dropping solo.

Review: My first time at Jasmine's was in Sept 2005 and had a complete ball. The Jazz was the best I have ever heard. I will admit the waitresses seemed brand new and unsure of themselves but the jazz/atmosphere made up for that. Great experience. I plan to return this week!

Review: The Jasmine Supper Club is a great addition to Myrtle Beach. They could use a larger stage but the sound is fantastic and Spyro Gyra was awesome.
Now the bad news: the food. Short story... don't. Before you go there, stop at some other fine restaurant and eat there. Last night we had the package deal that includes the meal and hotel. Unfortunately I am learning that package meals aren't very good.
You get a measly salad and a slab of your meat of choice with a pittance for sides and a small desert. You WILL be hungry. The meat is good but the service stinks. They serve EVERYONE water first, then drinks, then salad, then entree, then dessert and you will not skip any step. Like saying "I'm ready to order", forget that. From time seated to receiving my entree was 55 miinutes! ACKKK. I'm used to 10 to 20 minute waits and no more.
They have a great venue but the food experience stinks. Eat before you go and take some snacks to tie you over the entire night.

Review: Each year my husband & I travel to Myrtle Beach for our wedding anniversary and we make it a point to go to Jasmines Dinner Club. The food is ok, and at times the service is poor, but the music makes up for all of that! J-360 is just great, we really enjoyed tapping our toes and even took a turn on the dance floor to the sound of some good songs. We will continue to go and we wish everyone would go just to listen to the music.

Review: I'm a local and go to Jasmine's as often as possible. It's so nice to finally have a live jazz club in MB. J-360 is the best and the ambience is top notch. I would love to see more headline acts throughout the year but the house band definitely holds it down! A must do whether you live here or you're just passing through!

Review: I have read some of the most recent comments on this board about Jasmine's and my experience was totally different.
My wife and I were kind of skeptical about the food but we took the chance. We called ahead and ask questions. The lady that answered said the food might take a little longer because a party was going on. Upon getting our seats, our server was prompt and cordial. Took our order and the food came out in a reasonable time. Then after the food, we enjoyed the band to the utmost. I thought the service was the "best". Thanks again Jasmine's.

Review: Wonderful food, great staff - very, very, accomodating and pleasant. The food and desserts were delightful.
And, to top it off, a great sounding jazz band!
We were there on an off night (Wednesday), but nonetheless my wife and I were surprised to see only a small number of patrons. Perhaps this place is one of those Myrtle Beach "best kept secrets".
Bottom line: they don't come better than this. Be prepared to be wowed!

Review: The first time we went there, the food was poor, the service was poor, but the music was fantastic.
The second time, we took friends. This time the food was outstanding, but the service was worse, and again, the music was wonderful.
The third and LAST time, we took a group of people. The service we recieved was the worst of anywhere I had ever been. At least 30 minutes before we got our drink order. We had a brand new waitress who apparently had not been trained ever.
Our friends received their food about an hour and a half later.
Two and a half hours later, we still hadn't recieved our food. The waitress FORGOT to order it!!!!
We left and had to eat at Wendy's across the street.
I really wanted to like this place. But if we ever go back, it will be for drinks and music only.

Review: We've been twice for dinner, and twice had absolutely horrible service.
Fortunately before we went the first time, though, someone who'd been there before told us the food, ambience and music were first rate but the service was not good.
If we hadn't been at least somewhat prepared for the lousy service, we'd have walked out.
First experience: Twenty minutes after being seated, someone finally arrived tableside and we could at least get a glass of water. Ten minutes more passed and our waitress arrived and we ordered a bottle of wine. A solid thirty minutes passed before it arrived. And then, unbelievably, the waitress called another waitress over to open the bottle for her... and didn't even stay to watch how it was done! She returned a half-glass of wine later to take our order and we explained we'd like to enjoy our wine before ordering. Okay, she said with a smile, picked up the menus and off she went! It occurred to us at this point that perhaps she had not understood our intent. We saw her again about ten minutes later and waved her over. As we tried to explain, it all became clear - the woman spoke virtually no English! We finally got through ordering dinner by pointing at menu items.
The food and music were good enough though to bring us back a second time. We had a similar experience with the service, but not quite as extreme.
Still, the great food, atmosphere and music draws us back.
Maybe next time we'll try the bar...

Review: Not knowing what we were in for, we showed up in casual tourist attire, and were not turned away.
You don't have to dress up, but if you do you'll fit right in.
This place is first class all the way. Cool jazz, great food, excellent service.... and when the owner, Guy Johnson, stepped on stage with his sax, I knew I was in the presence of greatness.
I haven't felt that way since I was at B.B. King's in Memphis. I'll be going back every time I'm in Myrtle Beach.

Review: I want to say I enjoyed Jasmine's Supper Club very much. I am in the USMC and travel all over the world. I often look for jazz clubs for entertainment and Jasmines by far is the best jazz entertainment I have seen or heard yet. They don't just play good music, the group complements each other. They are very talented men of music and a true profession of their instruments. The food is very tasty and is served with the pride of any 5 star resturant I have had the pleasure of attending. The owner places a mark of excellence to the atmosphere when he enlightens us with his presence and we can't forget about the motherly touch his mom demontrates by greeting us individually and of her satisfaction of achievement of her son's vision of bringing Jasmine to the Myrtle Beach area. I have been in Okinawa Japan for the past 3 years but I have spent my last 2 birthdays at Jasmines. August 10. Continued Success and I hope to share the band with Okinawa Japan soon.

Review: What a wonderful experience! J360 was the group that entertained us and they were fantastic. If you closed your eyes you were sure George Benson was on guitar...the horn section, well, words cannot describe his talent, we were overwhelmed...I have been to many jazz fests in Washington DC, Newport, Paris, New York etc. and I can say without hesitation this night had a WOW factor. The best of all was the owner, when he picked up the sax and began to play, I thought my soul would leave my body as I was in heaven...I had to give this tremendous man of talent a standing ovation...The food was excellent...the menu varied, top of the line drinks...Don't miss this fantastic club, I promise you will return.

Review: My new bride and I went to Myrtle Beach for the first time on our honeymoon last month. We had a great time, especially at the "JASMINE". That was the highlight of our honeymoon. They sent a limo for us and we felt like royalty. We received the best service, the best food, and had the best time.It was truely a night to remember. The atmosphere was so relaxing.I was impressed, and it's hard to impress me.The real shocker came in the form of the check.I was expecting to pay three times as much.We spent more at "Outback" the night before.I couldn't believe how inexpensive it was.We will be spending every anniversary at the "JASMINE".That is one special place.

Review: The week of Aug 7th-12th was my first time ever going to Myrtle Beach and I, along with some friends, spent an evening for dinner at Jasmines on 8/10/05. We all loved the atmosphere, service, the setting, but most of all the food. I am looking forward to next year coming back to Myrtle Beach and attending Jasmines again. Thanks and may God continue to richly bless each of you in such a fine masterpiece.

Review: The Jasmine Supper Club is best on the beach for live music, atmosphere, cusine and a full service staff. From the moment you step under the entrance canopy onto the jazz inspired artistic art work on the walk way and thru the etched glass piano inspired keyboard doors into a supper club with a touch of class. The experience does not end there. Whether having cocktails or having the full dining experience you will know that you've come to a special place on the beach. No matter what night you come you will enjoy the live music 7 nights a week. I must say that every time I go to The Jasmine Supper Club I feel like I am at home. A real great place to visit time and time again.

Review: WOW! This was the greatest experience in dining and entertaining that we had in Myrtle Beach!! We went on Saturday night and were blown away by J-360 and went back on Sunday night and were thrilled by the Simon Quartet! The food was superb (PLEASE try the Fried Banana Cheesecake!), the service was all that we could possibly want, and the welcome we received from the owner was the very essence of Southern Hospitality! WE WILL BE BACK!!!!! THANKS for such a wonderful two evenings!
