Review: I had eaten at this resturant while on vacation several years ago and the Barbecued pork was great, it was so good that I was looking forward to eating there again on my recent beach vacation. I was highly dissapointed by the food that I was served this time, the pork was dry and tough, the barbecue sauce was almost tasteless and the fries were cold. The only thing that was good was the cole slaw. If looking for good barbecue while at the beach I suggest going elsewhere.

Review: Barbecued pork, at least to me, should have a moist consistency and have a smoky flavor. This meat was a bit dry and would appear to have never been near any smoke. Not at all what I'd consider good barbecue. The chicken was pretty good, reasonably moist, even the white meat. Sauce was added after cooking instead have being cooked onto the meat. Cole slaw had a lot of pickle in it, which is of course a matter of taste. Potato salad looked and tasted store-bought.

Fries were good, service was very prompt and friendly. Atmosphere was nothing special, but quite appropriate for a roadside barbecue joint. No complaints in this area at all.

Review: We read the reviews and tried this restaurant tonight. It was great. We were a group of eight and everyone loved their meals. We were disappointed that they were out of ribs but this just gives us another excuse to go back. Prices were very reasonable.

Review: This is a family restaurant, not fancy, but the GREATEST fried chicken in the world. I haven't tried too many other dishes here because the fried chicken is SOOOO GOOD. My wife has enjoyed the fish and barbeque and likes both. But just keep giving me that fried chicken. We do takeout a lot and it is still great.

Review: We tried this place in May on our vaction after reading ravening reviews on this site. Guess what? We were not disappointed the food, service, atmosphere, and kindness of staff were amazing. Did I mention the prices - they can't be beat. A whole rack of ribs with two veggies, and bread for 14.99. Next time I go back I want to try the amazing fried chicken I've heard so much about. Review: Ran across this place by accident.....we're locals now, been here a year, but had never noticed it. We'll surely take our company there instead of the crowded buffets with bland food!

Absolutley the best food around. Best catfish I ever had and the barbeque chicken is to die for. All food was fresh and delicious. We'll definitely go back. A real bargain for the price. You must try!!

Review: Not what you would of expected from what you see outside. Inside however is the best food that you'd get for BBQ or Fried food in the area. The prices are almost exactly the same as one of your favorite fast food places but with better food and sit down service. Definitely a top pick.

Review: This is one of the best BBQ places in the area. Kind of stumbled across it while working with my husband. The service was great, food great and the best part was the little hushpuppies. Definitely give it a try, you can't beat the prices or quantity of food. Even if you don't go there to eat try the family take out meal serves 8 for 30 something. You won't be sorry. Lots of locals go here.
