My boyfriend and I discovered this excellent restaurant during a visit to NMB, SC on 2 June 2011. We did not know what we would find but immediately it reminded, especially me, of my Polish heritage. My boyfriend then remembered my Mother's Polish cooking from years gone by. We both fell immediately in love with this restaurant; he did not believe this strip center was where the restaurant was located; he's a believer now; I remembered. We again went to this lovely place and once again tried more of the variety it offers. To eat the different foods continues to remind us of the essence of Poland here in America. The soups, are so Grand too! Pickled soup, how many others out there know you can make soup from a pickle and it taste soooo wonderful. I know each time we visit this beach area, this is one restaurant we will always dine at. I just wish we both lived nearby, but it will forever be Our Chose. Thank you for Polish-American Cuisine!

We were extremely disappointed in the taste of the food. We almost fell off our chair when we received the bill for two dinners = $45.00 including tip. We had a small salad and the entrée was 1 pork chop smothered with a horrible sauce .no taste except for all the salt they used. The amount of vegetables on the dish was not acceptable. Oh! we had water and 1 soft drink. Walked out very disappointed sorry we didn’t check the reviews before we went. In this economy and being on a fixed income like many in this part of the state.they should not allow restaurants to take advantage of people. I rate this from 1 to 10 .. 10 being the best a minus 1.

My husband and I fell on this restaurant, because it is out of the way. The food is good, but, not a 4 star,The best is the owner. "Elizabeth" is a good hostess. She is always concerned about how you enjoy your meal. They are hard working and It is certainly pleasant to go to a restaurant where the owners really appreciate your business, verses really excellent food and not so nice owners.

This restaurant was excellent in every way from the friendly service to the delicious food. We had the Polish Delight (which is Cheese Pierogis, Sausage, Cabbage Roll, and a Carrot Salad) entree and the Jaeger Chicken entree, which comes with either a scrumptious homemade soup of the day or side salad. My wife had the Dill Pickle soup and I had the salad, both of which were great. This food here reminds me of my trips to Europe. When you come here, be sure to save room for dessert. The day we came, we ordered Chocolate Cake with Peanut Butter cream and Coconut Creme Bread Pudding. They were both some of the best desserts we've ever had. This place is a very welcome attraction from all the burger and pizza joints around town. Highly recommended!

Original from the Polish side of Chicago. Looking for a Polish deli for a long time. We are part timers in Myrtle Beach and found the International by accident. SO we went in and ordered some food. The Polish sausage is imported from a deli in Chicago, we found out. On a scale of 1 to 10 the sausage was 7.5. The other items were just above fair. Not the best BUT not the worst. I plan to return soon. The service was good and enjoyed the conversation with the owner and his son.

International Kitchen is an excellent restaurant that I never get tired of visiting. I eat lunch or dinner there everytime I work and have never been disappointed. I can honestly say that I have never had a bad meal at the restaurant. Customers are always greeted with a smile and no food gets served to the table without being 100% right. The owners and workers take great pride in their food and presentation. To the person who posted the review about the bartender, I think you have commented on the wrong restaurant because they do not have a bartender and there is not even a turkey sandwich on the menu. I have eaten everything on the menu at least one and have always been pleased.

First, let me say the person that described a bartender at the Internation Kitchen in Longs, SC as drugged cannot be -there are no bartenders, so I think you are the drugged individual. Perhaps you are confused with another establishment. We have been going to this restaurant for over 2 years, never a problem. Now let me address the person that complained about their polish food, you don't know anything about good pierogi . I suggest people like you stick to McDonalds

I have heard the food is great and terrible so we had a 50/50 chance with this one. The first bartender was so drugged out he was incoherent. Seeing this, a second bartender took over and he was fine. They were out of chicken. Period. It took 45 minutes for 2 sandwiches and a burger. They were terrible. The burger was an overcooked frozen patty. We were told it was hand pattied. The philly cheesesteak was extremely dry and plain. The turkey sandwich was luncheon loaf on whitebread. Thankfully the meals were not too expensive. Don't waste your time or money.

The dinners we had at the restaurant were excellent and we had no complaints. The owners and staff seemed truly concerned that we were happy with our meals. It was a jewel of a fine after a long day of golffing. We definitely will return when we are in the area.

Four of us ate there last March and this was absolutely the worst imitation of Polish food that ever was served. Perogis were tasteless and cold and rediculously overpriced. The soup was next to nothing. Complained to the owner and all I did was waste time. You can get better Polish food in an Irish pub. The owner should get to Hamtramck, Mi. and find out how to cook

By far, this was the poorest imitation of Polish food. The waitress went thru the motions. Served the soup, which was supposed to be a barley-mushroom and perogis that the worst I have ever tasted. The price was exceedingly high. We took it home so we could throw it away and give it a decent burial. The owner boasted that the food was taught to him by his grandmother. Somebody knows nothing of Polish cooking. Try any restaurant in Hamtramck, Mi. to find out. I've had better polish food in Paddy O'Flaherty's bar & grill. Don't waste your time and money.
