My golf group visits Myrtle Beach every March. We leave Pennsylvania at 12:00 a.m. for one reason: to get to Hot Stacks in time for breakfast. The Country Benedict is a guilty pleasure. Definitely not for those watching their figure, but so so good. Can't wait until this March for another great breakfast.

Visit for breakfast December 2011. All around decent. I would return and recommend. Only negative-creepy manager hovered around the whole time making customers and staff uncomfortable.

The pancakes were our favorite! We always eat at Hot Stacks when we are in Myrtle Beach! My grandma especially loved the fact that they have huge coffee pitchers and they offer you refills any time! My grandma drank eight cups a day when we were there! The service is quick and efficient, the food is spectacular, I highly recommend this. And the prices are very reasonable!

Wouldn't eat breakfast anywhere else when in Myrtle Beach! We have been going to Myrtle Beach at least twice a year, usually for a week at the time for 20 years and we eat there every day. We love the service, the food, the atmosphere. My husband lives to eat their country ham and red-eye gravy! The management and staff are unsurpassed! Best of all, this restaurant is CLEAN!!!

My wife loved the omelets. I didn't notice anything special about them. Also tried the eggs and bacon. Nothing to write home about either. First time there the entire staff was really customer friendly. The second time one of the ladies seating customers and taking money was having a bad day and ruined the meal for me. Guess everyone is entitled to a bad day. What I do not like is your check is hand written and they do not total it. That and the fact that I thought they charged a bit much for food, I think I will try someplace else.

We eat breakfast at Hot Stacks everyday when we are in Myrtle. Coffee is the best in Myrtle, pot is left on the table, Real potatoes, Eggs are cooked the way you like them, fast, friendly service. The restaurant is exceptionaly clean. What else could you want? We will be there in May and August, can't wait.

I just recentley visted Myrtle Beach on a business trip from Chicago. I found Hot Stacks a delightful place to eat several mornings while I was here, would recommend it to anybody. Food was great, service was outstanding! Ask for Brittany, southern hospitality at it's best.

We were happy with our waffles. There were several problems, though; the bacon was "wiggly," and had a metallic aftertaste. I asked for eggs scrambled soft, and they came out scrambled hard. My wife's fried potatoes, though seasoned nicely, were mushy. The coffee was fine, and the waffles were excellent. The service was good, everyone was friendly.

Have been to this restaurant many times. Always take out of town guests here. Service has always been great and never had to wait for seating. They have a great menu and the prices are very reasonable. My grandchildren really like the chocolate chip pancakes. I love the biscuits and gravy. Husband thinks the omelettes are very very good.

Hot Stacks has been our Myrtle Beach breakfast stop for the last 6 years and will be our choice in the future. We visit in FEB. during the off season. We were seated imeadiately, and service was fast and courtious. The food was excelent, and looked and tasted great. We had everything from Bacon & eggs with toast & grits, biscuits & gravy, hotcakes, to chicen tenders. Out of our party of seven, there were no complaints. I highly recomend this as a great place to start your day.

Seated immediately. Coffee pitcher on the table was dirty; had old, dried coffee spots all over it. The syrup pitcher had old dried syrup stains and was stuck to the dish it was in - could not lift the pitcher without the dish coming along. Waitress said they do not serve maple syrup, When asked if the pancakes were "buttermilk" the answer was no, We paid for our cup of coffee and left for Cracker Barrel. Pity the Golden Griddle was closed for vacation. Forget this place!!

Nice place to go, took about 5 minute wait before being seated and the food was decent. Would I go back? Sure, but would rather try someplace new. The bench tables where kind of short for little over average sized people. I did eat my fair share, but would like a little more flavor in my food.

This is the quintessential Myrtle Beach breakfast place. By all means try the strawberries and whipped cream topped pancakes if you're really hungry, and the breakfast "Special" if you're not. It's "just right" and the price is right, too: eggs any style, grits or hash browns, and toast. Good coffee that keeps on coming. All served up in am attractive, light-filled atmosphere.

I had read reviews of this resturant before visiting Myrtle Beach and thought it sounded like a great place to eat breakfast. The food was good, but it wasn't anything particularly special. The pancakes were sweeter than any others I had gotten at other breakfast resturants, which my husband liked. The potatoes were good. The service was great. Our waitress was nice and attentive. The hostess and cashier were not as friendly as our waitress. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience.
