Good She-Crab soup but the rest of the meal was bad. Lightly dusted Grouper was really heavily beer-battered Cod. Yellow iceberg lettuce.

We went here during Bike week. They had a live band , we sat on the patio nice breeze was blowing the prime rib sandwich was the best I have had in a long time . There had to be hundreds of people inside and out front but our food still came out fast , hot, and great. Thanks we will be back

We live in Murrells Inlet and eat here quite often.Under both ownerships. The food is consistantly good, the owners are friendly and will modify the dishes to suit your taste. Draft Beer is 1.00 all types all day. Happy hour 4-7 everyday! with early bird appetizers 50% off. A locals favorite 4 sure.

Having read raving reviews on this restaurant in GS Magazine we decided to try it. Big Mistake! She Crab soup had been sitting in a hot pot so long it was overcooked, lacked fresh taste and quality. Just awful. Ordered Shiskabob of shrimp and scallops - sorry all out of shiskabob, what, no sticks? Waitress was not familiar with menu and could not answer questions w/o going off to ask someone on several questions. Fried oysters - so much breading you could not find the oyster and when you did it was a tough chewy clump. Garlinc Mashed potatos - take a meat mallot and smash a baked potato and sprinkle garlic on it. hmmmmm. What's up GS Magazine? I won't trust your reviews from now on.

My first time in Hoof -n- Finz i was hooked from their steaks to their sushi. This is a fun establishment with great food and good conversation. We now go at least once a week and it just keeps getting better! I can't wait until spring and summer when they open the TIKI bar and start having outdoor entertainment. GREAT JOB!!!

The fabulous chef from 2007 is obviously not there anymore! Sadly, the food was barely palatable. Such a disappointment from the fantastic meal we had last year when the restaraunt was under far better management and a genius chef. We won't go back and unfortunately cannot recommend it to anyone! The only positive was a very friendly wait staff.

This place is the best!!!! The food is delicious, the decor is really cool, and the service is great! The early bird specials make it even more affordable, but it certainly isn't unreasonable anyway. We tried it the first time on a whim, as my son didn't want to eat at the place we had originally chosen. Boy, am I ever glad that he chose this night to misbehave! The appetizers are yummy, steak and crab legs are AMAZING, and the homemade desserts are to die for! their specials are really creative and tasty too. I actually keep their menu in my car year round so I don't lose it and can dream of the place on cold winter nights! Do yourself a favor and aeat at Hoof n Finz, you won't be disapointed!!!!!!!

We ate here last year and I'm surprised it's still open! Maybe they were having a bad day, because the other reviews seem to be decent.

Our waitress sat down and had a cigarette with us and told us about dropping out of highschool, having a child at the age of 16 or something.... during our dinner. We were sort of stunned. She went on and on about how the school systems in SC are "so stupid".

Our food was crappy and we swore we'd never return. Go to Texas Roadhouse or something similar if you're in the mood for that atmosphere.

I live about 15 mins from Hoof-N-Finz and thought I would try it after reading the past reviews. I must say that I was not impressed. There are hundreds of resturants to choose from here at the beach. What I am looking for is good food and atmosphere and this place lacked both. I ordered the shrimp and grits and it was ok. Not bad but not great. I went in the winter so maybe the place is better in the summer?

After passing this place many times we decided to try it. VERY limited menu. Waiter explained they were trying a "new" menu. I've always wanted to try shrimp and grits. Several minutes after ordering the waiter came back and said they were all out of it. Second choice was the catfish nuggets, which my friend had ordered also. Our husbands went with the all you can eat catfish filets. Not many other options. I had to send back my catfish nuggets to be cooked some more. The guys filets looked much better. Unfortunately a large party celebrating a birthday were also there and the noise was so loud we couldn't hear each other talk...not resturants falt. I would go back if they enlarge their menu, just not much to choose from. Not sure what they were thinking with their "new" menu. Waiter was very nice and prompt. Priced reasonably.

Your are kind of in Biker Country in this section of Murrell's Inlet...not saying that this is such a bad thing but it can have an effect on the noise level. We enjoyed our dinner here this evening, all at reasonable prices. Very good She-Crab soup, generous porion of shrimp and grits (a bit too much on the peppers perhaps, and very good catch of the day which this evening was mahi-mahi.

There are two things that no one can ever seem to be cooke to my satisfaction....a good steak and grits. Well, the steak at Hoof and Finz was literally the best steak I ever at. I couldn't eat it all and ended up taking some home. The next morning I warmed it up for breakfast with some eggs. That steak tasted even better the next day. Now the grits...the shrimp and grits are so good.

I recommend this restaurant highly.

WOW! Is all I can say about Hoof n Finz. Great food and service.I was there during the Spring rally and even if they just opened they were on cue with serving thousands Bikers and locals. Entertainment was out of sight. Of course Chef Michael Braddock is the kicker. The best thing they could have done he adds expierence and love off cooking to every dish. He brings low country food back home. I have been to many restaurants in the MB area same ole same ole, and I have to be honest Hoof N Finz is destin for greatness. No one in the South Strand does it better. So if you want Great food Great Drink and a Great Casual Expierence Its a must do on your list. I will be back often.

All I can say is "Wow!"

I was apprehensive about the place at first - it looked like it was more "bar" than restaraunt. I am sure glad I went in and checked it out.

The food is off the hook! I am addicted to the shrimp & grits and their scallops.

As a local I am hard to please when it comes to seafood - this place is my new favorite!

So excellent. I love everything about this restraunt. The first time I ever tried frog legs, and they are suprisingly verry good. I am a local in South Carolina. Great food, fast service, and the most entergetic group of employees. A simply one of a kind restraunt. Best of luck!

What a nice change from the norm. Fast service, super food and what good people. The first time I felt someone cared about what I liked. Wish I was a local so I could go there more often. They have the best fried mushrooms I ever had and the steaks were super.
