Visited Myrtle Beach / Surfside the end of Oct 2009 and found HUTD (heads up tails down) closed.
I used to enjoy their local's atmosphere, food/rear patio and their karaoke.

Review: recently my wife and I were at myrtle to enjoy my 60th birthday we stop in and I like the bar right away but when we were ready to leave it seemed to take forever to get the bill I almost got a little upset but then here they come with a birthday cake and card !!!! now find a bar anywhere that does that for a first time patron. but you can bet it was not the last time we were there that week and will be there again whenever we are down. very friendly an fun place

Review: I am a regular at this bar and I love it here! they have great food, great company, and great service! my favorite bartender is donna...she is hilarious and will always make you laugh! your drinks are always worth you money at heads up too! in all this is one of the best bars in myrtle beach!.

Review: I love this bar, and bartender Donna, I lkie the people who come in here, like Crystal and her husband, Paul, Michael and etc, don't know the names of most of the regulars. I always have a great time.

Review: There's a really nice patio out back but the food is not very good. Lots of Locals. Our bartender, Donna was real nice to the guys but ignored us women. We went back again for the karaoke and sat at the tables and then had a good time.

Review: Very pleasant place to go to meet other friends or just to enjoy the karaoke or singing going on there. We plan on going back... time and time again.

Review: Wow! I was looking for a place to hang out while I was down for the weekend and was recommend by friends to go to heads up tails down. as soon as I got to the place, a handsome gentlemen(which I found out later was the owners son) was singing elton johns "daniel". he sounded just like elton john and he pretty much set the mood for my whole nite I was over there.I got a steak and shrimp special which was well worth the price I paid.good singing kareoke,nice priced drinks, and nice hosts. I had a ball here and recommend this place to whoever wants to hang out at a well established and well runned bar and grill.looking forward to visiting u all next time im down.thanks for the good time.

Review: We went up to surfside on the spur of the moment, and found the most fantastic fun friendly group of people at heads up tail down,,, the whole staff was welcoming and great service the kareoke was awsome the head singer joe michaels is going to be a celebrity, penny is a classic legend shirly and dave are the next runner ups... I never met these folks before and look I remember thier names..all because they are the best and we had a great time. Thanks look for ward to going back soon!.

Review: The people in this bar / Grill where great The Roughnecks where down there on 11/16/07 - 11/19/07 and was treated fantastic , A very speacil thanks to the Lady bar tenders and the lady who did the D,J.ing you where great to us and we are looking foward to next trip hopefully very sone. You will be the first we look up and plan to bring a lot more of us. :-) .
