Wow, what a great place to spend your time. I am in there often. I have family in the carolina forest and when I visit this is our hang out. Truely a great bar. Very diverse crowds. And servers who will do what ever you ask. Just a good place.

This is a sports bar. Very loud. The one time I went, they do not have a non-smoking section, "because we are a Pub". Well take your Pub and shove it. I will exercise my right and not dine there and be exposed to "very thick" second hand smoke.

We love this place. Whenever we come down to Myrtle we make it our business to visit Handley's a few times during our stay. The food is great and the bartender's and owners couldn't be more friendly. And they carry Chimay and Heineken. What more can we ask for.

Have spent plenty of time at Handleys over the past three years and have to rate it as one of the best for wings, french dips sandwiches, and Manly Handley nachos in Myrtle Beach. Great sports bar atmosphere and the waitresses always have my regular drink just after I sit down. Great happy hours specials as well! The outside has been enclosed and the big screen TV is great! Spend some time at the Pub!

I turned 21 a couple months ago and have spent the entire time since then sampling all the bars and pubs that the Myrtle Beach area has to offer (pretty much a different one every night or two), and none is better than Handley's. They've got a diverse beer selection and great English-style food. The bangers and mash are the best in the area (yes better than Blarney Stone's). If you've never been add it to your to-do list, and drop by and order your favorite beer, you'll likely see me there.

Great food at a reasonable price. They have an extensive variety of beers. For the sports lovers they have flat screen tvs all over showing the big games. If you are competitive there are numerous avenues to show your skills... billiards, darts, shuffleboard, cornhole, video bowling, video golf, and buzztime trivia. The owners & staff are great. My friends and I frequent the establishment quite often. It is tucked away in the Carolina Forest shopping center on the Kroger side on Renee Drive.

Recently I sent my husband for some takeout at this restaurant and he was treated like complete crap by the bartender. The food was very tasty but my husband and daughter were vomitting within a few hours after sharing an order of chicken tenders. My advice.. never eat the chicken and don't order to go, apparently they take offense to that!

This is my favorite locals spot! The Food is awesome and they always have a great local crowd. They have just covered there patio so now you can watch TV outside!! They also told me that they have three long patio heaters going on the patio so it can be used all year! The Beer selection is extensive, and the staff are very friendly! Got to try the Brit chips!!

Handley's is the perfect place for happy hour, 1/2 price appetizers make for a great meal with a fine selection of bottled beer. Late night the juke box gets going and the pool tables, dart boards, golf games.. are great to challenge you and your friends. I have always gotten great service, if the service was slow the place was packed yet me glass was never empty. The only two issues I see might be more personal. The ventilation is not that great when there are many smokers, smokes moves towards the ventilation return and if you in the path the air seems foul. A couple of air cleaners on the ceiling might help out, or just sit outside, with the new roof for shade in the summer and heat in the winter the air should be fine. Tap Beer selection. while they have the regualar lite beers, and standard Bass, Guiness, and Harp for an English pub, there is no real hoppy beer on tap. Not great sellers since most don't like a hoppy beer. But being an English pub not having an India Pale Ale on tap or a nice hoppy American Pale ale kind of leaves me wanting. Not all beers are going to big sellers becasue fine taste are usually aquired over years, or my taste buds are dying. Selling a diverse selection of all types on tap and make everyone happy. The bottle selection IS THE BEST I have seen anywhere.

This is one of my favorite places to go for food and beer. No, it isn't a family restaurant, and if you take your children there and expect someone to hover over your table, you are going to be disappointed. Instead, get a babysitter, sit at the bar and have a pitcher of beer while you wait for your food, which is without equal in the area! Service is slow, there's no denying that - and the tables take longer, so if that's where you plan to sit, take a pack of great friends and buy shots all around! And here's a tip - these people make the best fried mushrooms I have ever had, and I've eaten them all over the East Coast. Love you guys!

It's a great pub. Bonuses include being able to watch Euro sports on the big screens which was a plus during the FA Cup or the Champion's League. If there is something that is on the big screens that you don't want to watch, you have the ability to watch something different from one of the booths as they have their own televisions.

If you are expecting fine linens, candlelight and a sommelier go somewhere else.

I have been to Handley's numerous times and have consistently received poor service. I work in the service industry and I know it can be busy at times but that is no excuse for people being rude. It's a fun place to go with good drinks and food but I will never go again because of the rude service not just by servers but by management!

Handleys is a GREAT place to hang out! Awesome food, cute waitresses :) ... and they always have the games on. This is no pickup joint, just an english pub with an atmosphere you can enjoy. I recommend the Shepard's Pie... AWESOME, the Manly Handley Nachos... the best, and their wings are tasty. If you like hot wings, ask the waitress for the extra hot sauce they whip up in the back!!!! See you there!

I live in Carolina Forest, and had always said they need a locals spot here. Way to go Handleys, you fit the bill. This establishment has the feel of a fine dining restaurant mixed with the feel of a real sports bar. The owners of this bar along with their staff definitely know the meaning of catering. They are curteous, and I would have to agree with another review in saying, this is a bar you can bring your children to and not worry about it! The staff makes the kids feel right at home. Good job Handleys and to anyone who reads this, I highly recommend giving Handleys a try.

This place is awesome. The owners I believe are from England and they got this perfected.

We went here on NFL season opening night, they had the big screen TV outside and the manager was like, "Turn it up, be like you're at home if you want."

Inside is like a sports bar with TVs everywhere, even individual TVs at each side table.

There are pool tables in back. They have ? rugby/soccer jerseys and memorabilia hanging on the walls.

The staff was great with the kids, although they don't have kid's menu, they do have plenty on the menu that kids like.

The crowd was fine to take the kids there too, like a sports bar.

It was a little crowded inside when we walked in, but the patio was great, less crowded and had the game on as well.

We all love football so we got to enjoy part of the game there and have a great dinner.

We had a waitress who had just started and she was great, found out answers for us and was on the ball.

The food is awesome too, I had the Yorkshire pudding meal. The food has such a great flavor and there is tons of it. My husband got the prime rib and he said it is one of the best he's ever had.

We went back for lunch too, had the same waitress she was wonderful again.

It is like going home to mom's for dinner, the entrees are like comfort food that was made with love. Their french dip was to die for, so much flavor. I had a bowl of their chicken and dumplings soup and I thought my Grandma was in the back cooking, it was so good.

This is one restaurant that you don't have to reach for the salt shaker to add some flavor.

Everytime we plan to go out to eat, my whole family is yelling out for the Pub, so I would definitely recommend trying it if you haven't.

I just can't say enough good things about the food
