Review: We were the only people in the "dining" area the entire time we were there. Does this give a clue? Half of the restaurant was the bar, another quarter was for the pool table, and the remaining was for eating. The "decor" was drab and depressing. I had to ask the waitress if there were any specials, since she didn't volunteer any information. She failed to mention that the shrimp dish was very spicy and wasn't particularly good about keeping the water glass filled. The food was pretty good but very slow in coming. Can't imagine how long it would have taken if there had been more people! Definitely not a place to take children--the list of "Guido's Shooters" on each table had some vulgar names that little readers might want to have explained.....If you like to drink, you might like the place, but don't go there for a satisfying eating experience.

Review: I have been a Canadian visitor to Myrtle Beach for many years and would highly recommend you drop into Guido's. All of the standards you are looking for are A1. Excellent menu variety. Atmosphere great, relax enjoy. The owners are often there and visit with the patrons. The Bar maids are the best I have ever experianced in my travels from Japan,to both coasts of USA and Canada. I would guarantee if you visit you will definately come back. Thanks for all the good times . BOB

Review: This bar/restaurant is the bomb! It really is a hidden local secret. Has a great late night crowd - had a blast playing beer pong. The food is excellent too, food that tastes like the Jersey shore, and the great Italian restaurants in New Jersey. They even serve hoboken bread! You have to try this one! It's great!

Review: This is a great place! The food is excellent. Chef Dominick is super and if you don't see it on the menu, just ask to speak with him. If he has the ingredients he is more than willing to make the dish. It's a casual place with wonderful food. Authentic Italian food! It's the best on the beach!

Review: This is a relatively undiscovered gem on the Grand Strand. It's small and rather plain, but the Italian food is wonderful and very reasonably priced. My wife and I had the best eggplant parmesan we have had in this area. It was served with perfectly cooked pasta smothered in homemade marinara. My son had an Italian meatloaf special that was excellent. Our bill, with tip for 3 entrees and two drinks was $54. As mentioned earlier, the decor is rather indescript, but they are working on it. The chef is relatively new, but the place shows great potential.

Review: This is a WONDERFUL place! If you are in the area you have to check it out. They have a new chef who used to work at Tavern on the Green in NY, and that food is mouth-watering wonderful! All homemade and made to order. The bar is always fun, and the owners do make time to sit and share a drink with you. Always laughing and always something going on. This is a hidden local secret! Don't miss it!

Review: This is the best kept locals secret in North Myrtle Beach. Homemade Italian Food, JERSEY STYLE! Excellent. they have won numerous awards around town for the lasagna and sausage sandwiches, just like I had growing up on the Jersey Shore. The owners are wonderful and are never to busy to sit down and have a drink with you. The bartenders are a blast! We make it a point to stop in at least twice when we are in town! It is a great place! Don't miss it!!!

Review: If you go to NMB you must stop here for a cold one. He has these stuffed cherry peppers that I love. Try some with a cold beer.....nothing better. I am going back in two weeks to try the Asparagus Rollintini. If you like to sit back drink a cold beer and just have fun this is the place. He has great finger foods and sandwiches as well as Entrees, soups and salads. I even took a menu home with me. Pool table, Juke box, and some kinda funny game were you hafta swing this washer on a sting and try to hook to a hook on the wall. The atmosphere is laid back, the owner will sit at the bar with customers and really makes you feel at home.
