We each had burgers and fries with beer. The waiter was very knowledgeable about the beer we wanted (ex: yuengling), compared to the beer brewed on site. The waiter was somewhat slow at first but improved throughout the evening. There was a leak which was warned by a wet floor sign and others which weren't. These should have been blocked completely off. I'd eat there again but with caution.

We ate outside on the patio area on a lovely day April 21 2015. Having enjoyed a meal and drinks there four years ago, we wanted to go back. We are happy we did! We had filet sliders, awesome garlic fries, great beer and a delicious refreshing peach martini. We live close to the Northern Virginia area and felt prices were very much in line.

I have been here several times and go with friends everytime they come here for a visit. Service has always been good, food is good, I love the Garlic Fries and we always end up getting a few orders of them. The beer is good although it does get a little pricey

I have been here several times and it is one of my favorite places to go. The beer is a little pricey, but worth it because it is very very good. The Garlic Fries , OMG, orgasmic especilly if you like garlic, my only problem is they do not give you enough of them. I have never had anything at Gordon Biersch that I didn'tike. It's all good, go try it sometime!

We ate here on our trip to Myrtle Beach, and I did not read the reviews before we went. I'm glad I didn't, because we probably wouldn't have eaten here if I had. Our service was great (thanks Heather!), food was wonderful, and the atmosphere was pleasant. Out of four people, we had three different meals, and we were all very pleased with our selections. Pecan-crusted salmon, talapia, and strip steak...all superb! We would recommend this in a second!

Clean, open bar type of atmosphere but dining room was ok for family. They offered gluten free beer and it was brewed on site! my wife and I enjoyed splitting lobster and crab spring rolls and pecan crusted salmon for diner. Waitress was nice, food was good, beer was great. We'll eat there again..

Gordons beers were excellent as always, but the service was by far the worst ever!We asked for a towel upon arriving to wipe the patio table dry and was told they didn't have towels! So we knew we were in trouble.Beers and apps went betterWe started to forgive her and continued. We asked for check she asked how we wanted them, split three ways.Well she splits the total bill three ways.So we asked her to put what each individual person had on that person bill.Normal right? That pissed her off.She brought change back rounded down.Shorted me 64 cents .Not about the money, but don't make decisions about my money for me.Ended up in an argument with her.Which led me to Willy the manager.Who was polite and apologetic.Absolutely the worst waitperson in the world to represent your company we are local bussinessmen and enjoy your restaraunt but will not be coming in until we get over this experience,if ever again.Just can't believe it happened an hour later. The girl used profanity was argumentative the entire time.Terminated in any other bussiness inviroment

A very nice, trendy restaurant but not a good value. We went during happy hour and were really surprised by the high beer prices compared to the competition. Liberty Steakhouse has great beer and is a much better value.

With recent price increases, even during Happy Hour, this is an expensive way to quench your thirst for beer. Try Liberty at Broadway, which is a much better value

Unfortunately I attended a ladies luncheon and ordered the maui maui and was given food poisoning. I can't comment on the entire menu but would never eat there again nor recommend it to anyone else. I have been sick for 3 days now.

Party of 3. I ordered the lobster bisque and a house salad. The lobster must have been pureed because thebisque had nothing in it. Taste was pleasant, but no substance. Salad had crusted pecans in it which was a nice touch, but marzden vinaigrette (their special dressing) just tasted like regular balsamic vinaigrette. #2 ordered shrimp & chicken potstickers. Pretty on plate, but not tasty. #3 got southwestern chicken sandwich with garlic fries. Sandwich was good. You could really taste the garlic in the fries. Be sure you are ready for garlic. At first we were seated very close to a large party. I asked to move and the hostess was accommodating. Some tables and booths are VERY close together.

We went there for a get together and had 10 people. The service was not up to par for the prices they charged and of course they added a gratuity before hand so that made sense the wait staff would be as they were...They forgot 3 peoples meals and if the people served waited they would have had cold food...it took 20 mins for the rest of the food to arrive...Never again...the noise was loud and we couldn't hear each other speak unless we yelled...For the price you would think the food better...this is a must miss for sure and not worth it...

Had lunch there with 4 other family members - each of whom have their own special likes and dislikes. I have to tell you that the menu was so varied that everyone found something they loved. I was able to have steam asparagus for lunch - as well as tapas! What a find. I also had one of the best Mojitoes I have ever had here! The perfect place to dine for those who like to really have a choice!

Usually head over before or after seeing a movie for a bite to eat and a drink. The menu food is better than the appetizers. The beer is brewed on site and features mainly lager styles. I prefer ales, but still enjoy their selections. Have had minor problems getting seated and getting a waitress before, but not enough so to keep me from coming back.

My wife and I eat out 4 to 5 times a week and this is the worst service we have ever had. This was the second time we have eaten here. The first time the service was just as bad but the food is good so we gave it a second chance. I guess if you want to eat here just order the food to go

My boyfriend and I went to Gordon Biersch for a nice Saturday lunch. We had heard rave reviews, nice atmosphere, good food; Overall a good time. We were seated right away and had a male server. Sadly we cannot recall his name. We received drinks and appetizer in a timely manner. It really went downhill when we ordered our lunches. I ordered a simple BBQ sandwich and he ordered a sandwich as well. After he took our order we noticed that he had a very large party (12+) as well as a four-top. Having been in the service industry ourselves we were pretty lenient. We did however get impatient after 30 minutes and out food wasn’t there. As if noticing our impatience our server comes over only to tell us they were OUT of my boyfriends meal. After re-ordering the server vanishes again. So twenty minutes later our food comes out..and I had to box it up immediately because I was late for work. Never saw a manager, we were not compensated or even appoligized to for the long inexcusable wait. I haven't been back since. If you decide to go, good luck.

Our family has eaten here three times since it opened last year. Husband loves their Marszden (sp?) brew and the kids love their root beer ( I think they may also produce their own as well). The pecan-crusted chicken entree is fabulous- we think it's the best thing on the menu. Try the sweet ginger rice as your starchy side, it's quite good! The cedar-plank salmon is very good too. Was disappointed by the sliced steak and frites (aka: fries) it was just meat sitting atop a mound of fries, no other veg. or salad given. Boring! Would not order it again and it was pricy for what you got- 50% fries! Kids menu choices are typical fare with fries. Outdoor seating is available and looks nice. If you sit in the dining room in the summer time, don't sit under the a/c vents as they will drip on you (condensation) since they open up one wall of the building by the outdoor seating.

Gordon and Biersch is a great place to eat cause it has a little bit of everything. The menu is very creative the atmosphere is amazing not too dressy but not to causal. Nice sized tv's in the bar but there is also a nice large dinning area with views of the beer making process. The prices are not bad considering what is around at market common. I have been several times and have never been disappointed. The service every time was great as well as the food. They even have Arnold Palmer's half lemonade half ice tea i usually only see it at golf courses lol. When i have family or friends coming into town and i want to take them to a nice dinner where everyone can get something but it wont cost me an arm and a leg Gordon and Biersch is the 1st place that comes to mind. Also, market common is a beautiful place i highly recommend anyone who hasn't been there to go visit it.
