Review: Incredible breakfast food! The chipped beef is awesome; the only negative being not enough gravy for the amount of bread. Eggs made any way are perfectly prepared and bacon is crispy; never greasy. All toasts are crispy and food is never cold. Love this place!

Review: The Golden Egg has become my wife and I's place for breakfast on Sunday morning. The Golden Egg special is a great value with 3eggs, pancakes, sausage or bacon. With a great cup of coffee, what else can you ask for. Besides you're always safe--this is the place where local law enforcement comes for breakfast.

Review: Stopped in for breakfast with my daughter & son-inlaw on Sat. Oct. 3rd of this year. We had never been here before but we will be back. We travel to this area in the winter with most of our 9 children & the prices won me over. I would much rather have breakfast here than stay in our hotel & fix it & clean it up myself. The wait staff & hostess were on top of their game when were visited. The atmosphere was a pleasant change from all the nautical stuff that we tourists get bombarded with here at the beach. My daughter, who is a pickey eater ate all of her sausage biscuits & gravy. So two thumbs up. We can't wait to come back with the rest of our children this Christmas.

Review: Have been eating breakfast here Sundays for close to fifteen years. It has become an extension of my kitchen. The service and food are excellant and management comes around to see how everything is. My special order of spices for my omelet is met with no questions. Good atmosphere and friendly customers.

Review: This is by far the best breakfast restaurant on the Grand Strand. All employees are all about pleasing their guests. I have never been in a restaurant where even the bus person is extremley nice and cares about your experience. You know you are going to the right place when you walk in the door and see over 100 coffe cups that belong to regulars both locals and visitors.

Review: I went on vacation to Myrtle Beach with my husband, his parents and his brothers. We were lucky enough to find this restaurant our first morning there when we were searching for a place to eat breakfast. It was fantastic! We ate there every morning and none of us were disappointed. I wish there was one where I lived.

Review: My husband and I found the Golden Egg five years ago and we make it a point to return with every visit we make to the Myrtle Beach area. The menu is diverse enough for everyone at the table to order what they want but small enough that all the food is excellent. When you find somewhere that the locals leave their coffee mugs in racks by the door you know that is where you need to eat. This is that type place. Please go by and treat yourself to a wonderful meal!

Review: We live in Surfside and this is our favorite place to eat. The food is delicious (especially the omelets) and you get huge portions. My son and I have even split one of their huge omelet platters and were still stuffed. Definitely give it a try!

Review: My husband and I eat here whenever we're in town and it's the best breakfast place on the Strand. Even the home fries are hot and delicious - not rubber like most restaurants. Everything is cooked perfectly and the coffee's even good.

Review: Me and my wife, before we were engaged, went down to Myrtle Beach from Ohio one summer and hit this place for breakfast. They had this new item they called stuffed French toast. Now I had something called the same thing at an IHOP, but it was disgusting just as everything else at IHOP. But this item was excellent... I ordered a second one before I was even half way through the first! Although one was plenty big enough for one person, it was just that good. Don't get me wrong, I'm not overweight, I'm actually pretty athletic, running 5k races and 7min miles.
