Review: My husband and I had lunch at G. I. G. while visiting Georgetown and were pleasantly surprised... I had the garden salad with chicken and it was delicious...he had the shrimp and grits and loved it. Our server Lindsey did a fantastic job. We look forward to dining here again. We highly recommend trying this place...you won't be disapointed.

Review: We must have eaten at a different Goat Island Grill! It is not a place we would go again. They start you off with what they call sweet bread. There were about 5 tiny, cold muffins (three of them burned) in a very large basket. They were dry and tasted like they had been baked several days earlier. My husband had the GIG Platter of fried fish, shrimp (which he liked), and a crab cake which he didn't like. It tasted vaguely of crab but it was pulverized and had an unusual breading. I had the Flounder Francaise which was lightly breaded fish swimming in a butter/lemon sauce. The sauce was good but did nothing for the fish which was undercooked. It was served with rice and sauted spinach - both were acceptable. We tried the fried cheesecake for dessert which was very good but not worth a repeat visit. No wait to be seated - we arrived at 6 p.m. on a Saturday and were the only ones there. By the time we left, two other tables were occupied. The waitress was pleasant and she did refill our beverages without our asking.

Review: Goat Island Grill is an awarded winning restaurant among all the choices on the Grand Strand and beyond, including Murrell's Inlet. Now we know why. We just got back from dinner, and had the best dining experience of our vacation. The food was excellent and amply portioned. Rebecca, our waitress, was very friendly AND very efficient. Our party of eight was seated immediately, and the music was good, but was quiet enough for you to be able to hold a conversation. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. GREAT JOB GUYS!

Review: I love this restaurant for lunch. Have not tried dinner, but have lunched with friends 3 times. I always eat too much, and just can't seem to leave any of those french fried sweet potatoes on the plate. Their crab/shrimp bisque is incredibly delicious.

Review: The G.I.G. is a new addition to the G-town waterfront. I am very pleased ervry time I have visited. The shrimp and grits is the best I ever had, my wife loves the lobster ravioli. My dinner of choice is the bleu cheese filet mignon. The wine list is extensive and well rounded. I enjoy lunch on the patio over looking the harbor.
