Review: Great restaurant. We heard about it on the golf course and were very pleased. The quality of the food and the portions are great. They also have a great selection of beer, something like 60 brands. I highly recommend this place.

Review: What a nice place to go eat and enjoy yourself. Great menu and the food is as good as it sounds. We eat here when we visit and have never been disappointed. My kids go crazy over the cookies and cakes. Do yourself a favor and try it for all three meals you will not believe they do all they do. Great place.

Review: There were 6 in our party (3 generations), arriving 5:00 p.m. Sunday. 4 ordered burgers or large salads. One had filet mignon, potatoes, green beans, and salad, all excellent. The sixth person enjoyed pan-seared chicken, green onion grits tart, asparagus, and salad.... delicious. Laurie, our waitress, provided timely and courteous service. Overall, an above-average to excellent dining experience. Amazing.

Review: I have been in pawleys on business the past few months and have eaten at Gator Krawls for lunch a couple of times and dinner four to five times per week. First let me say the owners are there all the time and they really do seem to care. Next, I have tried all the entrees except some of the pasta and they are wonderful. I could not help but notice that someone just posted a review and claimed the Sea Bass was terrible. I had the Sea Bass several times and thought it was really good. I travel a lot and eat out a lot and can assure you this place is way above average. One other thing you will notice is how clean it is. Dave, Buffalo, NY.

Review: Our family has vacationed in Pawley's Island for years, but had not ever been to this restaurant. After reading the many positive reviews on this site we took our family and my teen's friends. We found the service to be slow and unattentive, maybe just in experience. I ordered the sea bass that was cooked in the brown paper bag. I found it be tasteless, dried out and possibly had been frozen. The garlic mashed potatoes were so garlicky they were inedible. The waitress took my entree off our bill when I complained.

Review: I saw an advertidsement on television and decided we would try this place out. My family has been vacationing in Pawleys Island for over twenty years and we love to eat out. I have to tell you this is one of the finest all around places we have ever been. The staff is down to earth and you can tell they have been there a while. we ask our server and she sais she had been there since the place opened. We had soups appetizers the whole nine yards and it was all great. The food is unbelievable and the owners are so in contrlo of what is going on. We spoke to both owners a husband and wife team and they really are great people. I have never been to a place to eat and been so pleased overall. I also should mention how clean it is.

Review: Food was excellent when we visited this restaurant back in January 2007. However, the waitress was the worst I have ever experienced in my life. Not only was her attitude extremely rude and down right nasty she scammed us out of money so that her tip was bigger than she rightly deserved. We informed her that we were in a hurry since breakfast took close to an hour to get. She then made herself scarce when it was time to pay the bill. When we finally got her to give us change, she made sure there was not enough singles available (not enough change in the register!) so that she got much more than she deserved. Watch your wallets when you go to this restaurant. Food is great but this waitress who is still there as of April 2007 is a real hostile individual. Why does the owner keep this one!!!???

Review: My husband and I recently visited the Myrtle Beach area, as we do every year. We were absolutely delighted to discover Gator Krawls. We ate there several times during our trip, once for lunch and twice for dinner. Each meal was even better than the last. The portions are more than adequate and the food is second to none in the area. My husband still raves about his honey-pecan red snapper. I particularly enjoyed their sinful dessert selection and the variety of wines offered. We highly recommend Gator Krawls to anyone looking for great food, great portions, and a friendly staff.

Review: During my recent visit to Pawleys Island, I ate several times at Gator Krawls. The new sports bar with the huge tv is wonderful. It's the best food at Pawleys - breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The menus have a wide variety of food. My personal favorites are the crab cakes and chocolate cake.

It's always great to visit a restaurant with nice sized, clean rest rooms.

I will be visiting Pawleys Island again soon and my first stop is Gator Krawls.

Review: My family has eaten at Gator Krawls many times. It's one of our favorite places. The food is wonderful and the atmosphere is very nice. One of my favorite dishes is the pork tenderloin with the maple walnut sauce. My husband likes the filet mignon. The staff is great - very friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Review: Our third experience at Gator Krawls was very disappointing. We arrived at the restaurant at 10:00 am on Mother's Day. We were seated within 5 minutes, our waitress took drink orders and promptly delivered our drinks and took our order. After approximately 30 minutes she returned to give us refills on the drinks, but left the dirty cups on the table. Another 30 minutes went by with no visit from the waitress and no food. When we were able to get the waitresses attention, we asked how long it would be before we would be receiving our breakfast. After checking with the kitchen staff, we were told it would be at least another 15 minutes. My husband asked to speak with the manager. The waitress tried to get him to speak with us, but he refused, stating that he would be glad to speak with us on Monday. We left without breakfast as did the customers at two other tables. There is no excuse for the way we were treated. It doesn't take 90 minutes to prepare breakfast.
