Excellent waitress but, when we started to check out the young girl that was at the register had a sucker that she kept taking in and out of her mouth while waiting on us..called to speak to the manager and when he answered the phone was rude and arrogant and said call back in 30 minutes and hung the phone up..really? I grew up here and this was poor service. .won't be going back!!! ref: 27738

Breakfast special very good..Food served fairly hot..
Only problem is the pancakes, which we liked before...Now they
Only serve wheat pancakes. They taste awful..
Please go back to the original mix.....
Until then we will get our cakes at Cracker Barrel or Denny's.... ref: 26299

We had gone to this restaurant last year for breakfast one day and the food was pretty good, so we decided to try it again this year.
Needless to say, I was disappointed the 2nd time around... I ordered an omelette, and the waitress delivered it to the table with a FLY SMASHED ON TOP OF IT!!!
Although they didn't charge us for the omelette (obviously), the manager never got involved or apologized. The waitress got around to apologize, but never made it seem like a big deal. ref: 25894

This restaurant was the perfect place to get breakfast. We didn't have to wait and our server was pleasant and checked back just enough. The food was good and served hot. I would definitely recommend this restaurant! ref: 25778

Wow the worst place we have been anywhere. Waitress took 20 min for us to get a drink. The whole time to get breakfast was hour and a half. Dirty place read other reviews. Stay away. Drive thrue mcdonalds is better. The owners here do not care if you come back. Oh yea keep your feet up there are thing crawling below you!. ref: 25469

We have vacationed in Garden City for 15 years. This is always one of our must go to for breakfast spots. We have never been disappointed! We always ask for Tammy to serve us, she makes us feel like special customers. ref: 24858

Absolutely the worst restaurant in Garden City. Not only was the service bad . But the food was the worst the home fries had mold on them We paid $3.99 for a side order of home fries. The coffee carafes had mold on the spout. we asked for a manager We were told their was no manager just the owner Bill. He approached our table sweaty and with an attitude. He offered to remake our breakfast. No appreciation for our business then we get to the cashier she half way speaks english. And says so u think u eat and You dont have to pay. I will never visit this establishment again. Not to mention they had dead flies in the creamer bowls and the syrup caraffes wer stuck to the tables. Not real maple syrup either ref: 23532

Waitress brought my husband and me a coffee carafe. After drinking about half the cup of coffee, my husband noticed a large mass of mold in his coffee. When the waitress finally showed up with the bill, we showed her the mold that he had placed on a napkin. She said that's interesting, and asked if she could bring him another cup of coffee. Then, after waiting approx. 15 minutes, we saw the manager. Whe showed him the mold slime, and his response was, Oh Wow. They didn't even comp the coffee. Nastiest restaurant I remember ever eating in. ref: 13520

We used to love this place for breakfast but it has really gone down hill. There is always a help-wanted sign outside, always an indication that there are problems with management. The server was pleasant but the eggs were cold, the bacon underdone almost to the point of being unsafe to eat. The sausage and biscuits didn't have any sausage in it and the table wasn't clean. It wasn't busy, also a sign that it isn't the enjoyable breakfast spot it once was. Very dissapointing. We will find a new place for breakfast as there are many other choices close by. We went on the last of our trip before we had to drive 15 hours to get home! Was kind of depressed on having to leave. There was no wait since we were there at 9am. Were seated right away. Service was kind of slow on our drinks but overall was pretty good. A few of us ordered the special and the other 2 orders the Golfers Special. All was VERY good even if my eggs were over cooked after I asked for soft scabbled. ref: 6516

Our family usually eats here at least twice and sometimes three times during our week stay in Garden City. The food is excellent and the service is very friendly. Their omelets are the best, especially the Southwestern one. Come hungry. For about $7 you get a three-egg omelet with 2 large pancakes or grits and toast. Also try a side order of Home Fries. Their daily special is also a great bargain. ref: 1256
