Moved here from Michigan about two years ago. Just got around to going to Fiesta Mex. Shouldn't have waited that long. SW Detroit is Mexicantown. One of the best places to go in the state. Fiesta would fit in perfectly. Food service atmosphere were great. Really impressed with this family owned authentic Mexican restaurant. It just had a great feel to it as you sat there enjoying everything around you. The workers showed a real caring for their customers and job. My wife and I will be regular patrons. Thank you Fiesta.

We visited this place with high hopes today, 7/6/15. The service was horrible. The wait for service was more than 10 minutes. The time for food delivery was more than 20 minutes. There was no follow up to see if everything was ok which is was not. Except for rice and beans, food was so greasy it was impossible to swallow without gagging. When we got our refill of tea, we found a dead bug in one of our glasses. Gross. We will never go there again.

The Food was pretty good, Besides they screwed up my order. Which already had to wait awhile for my meal to begin with. after that we asked for a fork because we only had one. Ended up sharing then getting our own. Was going to order a drink, but after waiting 45 minutes with no service, my boyfriend said lets go he was just as angry..

For those of you who are from southeast Michigan and vacationing in MB, Sagebrush Cantina in Lake Orion has some competition! Our first night I had the Enchiladas Verdes. YUM. My husband had the Beef Fajitas. Also delish. Tonight I ordered Tortilla soup for my 3 year old and she loved it.Very traditional, with avocado, and lime to squeeze over it. I got the pick 3---Chile Relleno, Chalupa, and Tamal. INCREDIBLE! I actually ate all three and left my rice (which is very good and has great flavor infused). My husband got the pick three---Beef Enchilada, Beef Taco, and Beef Soft Taco. He ate it all too! Weight gained on this meal alone I am positive! Vacation is a success! You gotta try this place. You won't be disappointed! ~Jenni Sullivan

Being from an area of the U.S. where truly authentic mexican food is prevalent, I know mexican food. This restaurant is by no means fully authentic, but it is easily the shining star in Myrtle Beach for mexican food.

We have been craving good Mexican Food since we moved to MB 3 years ago. Based on other reviews, we decided to try this restaurant. We had Chiles Rellenos and Mole Ranchero. They were nothing like we have had in Mexico. Nearly no spiciness. Imagine what your favorite recipe would taste like if you left out 2-3 ingredients and you get the idea of how bad it tasted. I asked our Mexican waiter if the cook served the staff the same food and he said no because the American customers don't like spicy food. The best part of the meal was the chips and salsa. We continue our quest. Until then, I'll cook Mexican at home.

I was very disappointed in this restaurant. We went right after lunch hours, around 3:30. It took forever for someone to come out of the kitchen to seat us. The kids meals were very overpriced and the food for the children looked as if it came from the freezer section of the Food Lion down the street. My fajita meat was burned. Our service was soooo horrible yet the restaurant wasn't busy at all. Both food and service was bad. I will not return to this restaurant.

My ratings are based on take-out. I walked in, ordered food, and then left to drive up to Restaurant Row to pick up food at McDonalds for the little ones. Came back about 20 minutes later to pick up - and waited another 45 minutes for it to arrive. While the wait was very excessive, the staff was friendly, polite, the shirts are a bargain at $10 (bought two) and I'm on vacation, so a little wait didn't sting at all. The food was well worth it and on par with the good Mexican we are used to at home. For $20, my wife, my older son and I ate like pigs! Good food - highly recommended. Next time I'll sit at the bar - duh!

We had the lunch buffet, and it was great. There was a good variety of food on it, and I definitely was stuffed at the end. It was a good value for $7.50. Our waiter was very nice and attentive, and the atmosphere was good. I would definitely go back again. The only thing that could have been better was that there were no labels on the food on the buffet, so sometimes I was unsure what exactly I was getting. But, everything was good, and I like to try a little of everything, so it was fine.

If you are in search Great authentic mexican cuisine hidden in Myrtle Beach.  This is a must go to place for anyone seeking real mexican food that has not been commercialized.  Homemade salsas, guacomole, chipotile sauch.  We will make this a frequent visit every vacation in MB.

Excellent, excellent Mexican food in the heart of Myrtle Beach. A real Mexican restaurant, this is so much better than all the chain restaurants. The value was terrific - about $8 for a combo meal with three items; i.e. a burrito, a taco, and an enchilada. If you eat here, you must try the margaritas (alcoholic or non-alcoholic). Check out the interesting flavors, like papaya. I would definitely eat here again!

We've gone to Myrtle Beach over our kids' Spring Break for the past few years. Last year we visited the Fiesta Mexicana twice during that week. Both times, the food and service was outstanding. I highly recommend the Tamale, for which the corn shells are made on-site!

A year ago, we wrote a review of this establishment and reported a mixed experience. This year, we went to the place once, and ordered takeout the second time. I am very pleased to report not only was the food great, but the service was as well. The first time in we simply stopped for drinks and chips on Monday September 17, 2007 at 9:25 PM. We each had Margaritas on the rocks, and were very happy with them. We ordered Queso with Sausage pieces to go with our chips (forgive me, I can't remember the name on the menu) and it was very good as well. The second time was Friday, September 22, 2007, a takeout order. We both ordered Fajitas. I had steak and chicken, my wife went with straight chicken. The food was excellent, and its a great value for the money at only $8.50 each. Norm & Eve Connors Sinking Spring, PA

The food was mediocre -- the seasoning tasted as if were from a mix (think Ortega taco kit from the grocery store) and the cheese tasted like generic American cheese. While the servers were friendly, one carried way too much on her tray and it fell. Unfortunately, my party was the recipient of the salsa flying through the air. My mother-in-law ended up with it all over her white shirt, and some landed on my toddlers face--almost in his eyes. While the staff was very apologetic, no concession was made other than the offer of a t-shirt. I thought they might comp part of the meal, or dessert on the house, to make up for the ruined shirt and loss of the enjoyment of dinner out. We tried to enjoy the meal after the incident but since the food was only so-so, it wasn't easy to do.

We come to Myrtle Beach about twice a year, and we always find time for a meal at Fiesta Mexicana. It looks like a typical Mexican restaurant inside and out, but don't be fooled--the flavors are fantastic. The fajitas I had today for lunch were the best I've had in a long time.

Went there on two seperate occasions over the past week, both on our first day and our last day of vacation.

First day was excellent. Food was great, maragaritas were great. Service was fantastic. My wife had Chicken Fajitas, and I had combo Chicken-Steak Fajitas. Second time we had a simpler meal of Tacos and Enchilladas.

Unfortunately, our second trip this past Friday was marred by terrible service. Our waitress paid little attention to us and spoke instead of a party later on that evening with co-workers.

It must be said my wife and I are both VERY easy going people and don't get upset often. But the service was so poor it may prevent us from going back to an otherwise great establishment.
