We have eaten here 3 times. The first visit last fall was the best. My husband had the special. It was excellent. My burger was overcooked. even though ordered medium. Second visit had an average reuben and okay salmon blt. Salmon was also overcooked. Third visit had the fish taco special and quiche special. THE PRICES ARE EXORBITANT for the smallest sliver of quiche and some old honeydew melon that was touted as fresh fruit. The two fish tacos had about 3 onces of fish total, between the two tacos. It was very fishy smelling and even the lime didn't cover it up. Chips out of a bag and salsa out of a jar. Where is the imagination? Where is the execution? Where is the food for a $25.00 lunch? We had such high hopes for a decent place to eat regularly but we still have not found it. Beautiful building and setting but that's all they have to offer.

This pub reopened some months back after a couple of unsuccessful starts. It's on the Little River intracoastal waterway, with an open deck, front and back. There's a generous array of gas heaters on both decks for those late fall evenings etc. The new owner made a superb job of the remodeling, and has recently added the bonus of a dedicated parking lot close by. The menu is pub fare, however they regularly have creative specials. What they do offer, they do really well especially the burgers and fish-and-chips. The staff is experienced, friendly, and very efficient. The owner, Rich, is often on the premises and greets locals by name. We are Little River residents and we enjoy it so much we go there regularly.

She crab soup - excellent. I am not a sea food lover, but tasted my husband's soup and got a spoon so I could share. Not fishy tasting but thick and smooth. I got the chicken francise- liked it equally well. My husband ordered blackened salmon, this too was prepared to prefection. The vegies were not over cooked, had a little crunch - just right. Staff very friendly and wanted to please (not just working for a tip). Can't hardley wait to go back. We live about 3 hours away, but this is diffently worth a week end at the beach.

Recently tried Fibber's upon the recommendation of a gift shop owner. The interiopr is much nicer that it appears from outside or you can have dinner by the water. The price was reasonable and the food was VERY good. We had the cheeseburgers, fish (grouper) and chips and the crab cake sandwhiches. Everyone was pleased with their food. Service was very good as well. I would definately recommend.

We had lunch here on a sunny but cool Saturday - sitting on the back deck watching boats and watercraft cruise by on the Intercoastal Waterway. For appetizers, we had scallops - which were perfectly cooked and wonderfully seasoned, and fried grouper bites - which were also cooked perefectly and very tasty. My Bloody Mary was the perfect choice for a nice lunch in the sunshine, as well. Our main courses were varied. My BF ordered one of the day's specials - seafood pot pie. The pie came with a delightfully flaky crust and a great variety of seafood - he described the taste as "excellent" and the quantity as "perfect" -- there is no way I would have been able to eat the entire pot pie, but he finished his. I also ordered one of the daily specials - shrimp tacos. What a great choice! The two tacos were served with tortilla chips, and a lovely salsa made on site. BF's mother ordered the house specialty - fish and chips. The serving was large enough she took at least half of the fish home with her. We have eaten at several other locations on the small water front in Little River, and were not impressed. The food tends to be either frozen, or fried, or both. The menu at Fibber's offered a variety of flavors and cooking techniques. The sun-washed deck was a great place to sit, and the Bloody Mary was delicious! Don't let the outside appearance fool you - you need to try Fibber's!

the billboard i saw for fibbers is right on the money, its little rivers best kept secret that needs to NOT be a secret any longer. the minute we walked through the door we knew we were in for a treat. from the mahogney wood to the slate floors and designer bathrooms this place is a GEM! the food was the best i've eaten in the area, i am orginally from NY and i am a tough critic, we started we fried calamari which was as tender as could be, melted in our mouth and the pan seared scallops that were picture perfect...we had the fish and chips- it was a huge portion of battered and fried to perfection haddick, it came w/ fries that were crispy not greasy, and homemade yummy coleslaw. we also had the she crab soup served in a bread bowl that was perfect! it came w/ a side salad. the service was perfect as well...those girls know thier stuff!! we can't wait to go back and have told everyone we know to try it they will like it....the secret it out!!!

The best thing to happen in little River in a long time! The atmosphere was nothing I have ever had in little river, clean the bathrooms are the Opening statment for the rest of the experience of our nite. The food was over the top Seared scallops and Fried Calarmari was to die for, then the Shecrab soup was awsome and we had the Chicken Pot Pie that was better than Paula Deans and the Ribs were the best I ever had. Would highly recomend this restuaurant as in the top 5 we have had in Grand Strand!

Fibbers on the water was a dining experience that everyone needs to try. It was my first time there with a few friends and the service during lunch was excellent! We plan on going back when the weather warms up so we can enjoy the deck. the food was wonderful I enjoyed the fish and chips along with a tasteful margarita! Best place on the waterfront!

We have a second home in Little River and enjoy going to the waterfront when in town. We tried Fibber's not knowing what to expect. The restaurant used to be called BJ's. Wow, what a difference. The restaurant has been totally renovated and was tastefully done. Even though we just had appetizers and sandwiches, the food was excellent and so was the service. The outside deck, facing the intercoastal, has all new furniture. Certainly a place to be when the weather turns nicer. We will certainly return on our next visit and highly recommend this establishment.
