I have eaten at this resturant at least once a year for 25 years. There is most always a wait but it is worth it. the cooking is "REAL" country cooking at its finest. They have a limited that never changes snd offer no soft drinks, that's ok. Everthing that they do serve is wonderful.

Our family loved the restaurant,we have been there several times during our visit to myrtle beach.the service is great and the food is just like your granmother would cook on sunday. We also have sunday lunch at our house with our family and grandchildren and it makes you feel like you are at home but someone else has done the cooking. I would rate this place a grade.

We go to Myrtle Beach every year and we always make it a point to eat there one night during our vacation. Although you have to wait to be seated for a considerable amount of time, the good country cooking is worth the wait. If you are looking for a cheap meal, however, you probably would not want to come here but for those of you who have been there knowv that it is worth the high cost and long wait.

I just returned from myrtle beach and i was overly pleased with the Farm House Restaurant. I'm from a sleepy little town on the eastern shore of maryland and dining there was just like sitting in my grandmothers kitchen. This was my first trip to the south and all i was looking for was some good southern cooking and some good southern sweet tea i found both at the Farm House.. The staff was just like family and welcomed me warmly.

The Farm House was amazing! My husband & I were married on the beach in Myrtle Beach and my in-laws treated us to dinner here one night and it was so much fun. The food was delicious and the atmosephere is like stepping back in time. I live in Minnesota and cannot wait to go back some day. You really must experience dinner at The Farm House.

First time visit and we enjoyed it. Fried chicken was good as were mashed potatoes. The homade biscuits, bread and butter pickles and apple butter were good. The player piano was unique and added to the "old time" feeling. Be advised there isn't much room so there could be long waits. We got there 20 minutes prior to opening and signed up. Would have liked to have fried okra, fresh peas, creamed corn as choices. Only one desert, but cool and tasty strawberry shortcake.

The Farm House is one of the BEST places to eat while on vacation!! I have been going to the Myrtle Beach area since I was a baby and every year we eat here. The cooking is a great taste of country and the children have plenty to do outside while waiting to eat. There is a hammock, swing, checkers, and a beanbag game for children of all ages. Once you walk inside the country home it feels like you are sitting at your own kitchen table with very friendly people waiting on you. After your buffet style dinner there is a desert of strawberry shortcake. I recommend this restaurant for anyone wanting an AWESOME home cooked country dinner!!!

Our family visited the Farm House on three different occasions during the summer of 2004. Twice in June and once in July. Everyone was great! Very down to earth. The inside of the restaurant was like stepping back in time. Kind of like your grandma's house. And being from the mountains of western North Carolina, and knowing what real down home country cooking tastes like, I left there completely satisfied. The food was delicious ( I love buffet style), the staff made you feel like you were one of the family, and my 12 year old son (who by the way is the world's most pickiest eater) was even impressed. So, if you have the chance to stop by, please don't hesitate. It's worth the wait. (Just a note: they charge children by their age. So if you have small children, it's the best deal around. I think it was like .95 cents per year.
