Review: If you come to Cherry Grove or NMB, you have to come to Platt's for your seafood. We go every year and is always great service and Fresh Seafood. I love the smell when you walk into the store.....it's says "we're at the Beach". It's just an all round great store to pick up anything you need for seafood eating or fishing..

Review: Due to dietary restrictions we needed to find fresh high quality fish and seafood to prepare ourselves. We made one visit there and became hooked! Great selection of both local and flown in fish and seafood. The raw sushi grade ahi tuna was such a treat, the conch was something I had not tried but really enjoyed and the fresh croaker was wonderful! We will certainly be back each time we visit the area!

Review: Every trip to Myrtle Beach we stop at Platt's for fresh seafood. Often times we have had Platt's prepare salmon for us which is top shelf. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Eating home or at the beach it is well worth stopping here.

Review: The ONLY place to go for seafood! We make multiple visits each week we're here. You can cook at home, or they'll steam for you, and for free! Also to your preferred spiciness.

Review: This place is a great bargain! A hidden gem for sure. Great crab legs, shrimp and scallops. It is carry out only, but just go in and order what you want. They will steam and spice it up at no extra charge and your order will be ready in 5-10 minutes. Take it back to the condo and enjoy!

Review: Eugene's is a must if you're looking for fresh seafood to cook while at the beach house or to take home and freeze for later. We stop buy no matter where we're staying or how far a drive out of the way because it just doesn't get any better. The people are absolutely great, super nice, helpful and make it a great experience just walking into the place. Just wish I had more freezer space! Great prices and better product!!

Review: Eugene Platt's is the Place for Fresh Seafood if you're going to cook your own. They also have all the fixin's (Southern Slang) for Fixing's to go with your fresh seafood. We have been visiting Platt's for years and it's always one of our traditions to go there whether for Crab Bait or Shrimp to Boil. The people are great and we leave with a smile. When I walk in the place, the smell says "BEACH".....buy some shrimp or crab meat and take me home to eat.
