Review: Great place, we are locals and we visit this place 1-2 times a month. We have never had anything but great food and service. Manager is great and all staff is friendly and go out of their way to please.

Review: Great restaurant! We were hoping to find a great mexican place to put on our bucket list of North Myrtle Beach restaurants. We found it!
Great service, seated fast, chips were on the table almost as fast as we were seated. Really enjoyed the spicy cheese dip and chips. Rice and fajitas were awsome. Manager came around to ensure we were satisified. This will be a regular visit for us each year.

Review: This was a great little place for a quick lunch time stop over. For the price I paid, I cannot complain, though I found the food average. I will go back for dinner some time, and would definately go back for lunch.

Review: We live in the area and this is one of our favorite places to eat. The staff are very friendly and the service is great. The food is awesome and they have nice portion sizes. Great clean place. Would recommend to anyone.

Review: This is a really first class Mexican restaurant! Food was excellent and came out fast and hot! The service was very good and the prices reasonable. So if you want a change from all the seafood try this, think you will like it!

Review: Visited the ECG August 1st. Excellent food, fast friendly service who went out of his way to make sure we had an enjoyable dining experience. If I were closer would stop by for lunch today. Nice atmosphere, location, plenty of parking. Great restaurant.

Review: My daughters entree was supposed to be served with guacamole and it was not. My husband's and my fried taco's were not what we had expected. We were expecting a grilled taco shell, instead only the shrimp inside was grilled and the flour tortillas were limp and gross. I ended up dumping all the shrimp on my plate and throwing away the flour tortillas.

Review: We went to El Cerro (not the grande). It is standard Mexican fare, not greasy except the rice a little but it was good too. All of us were happy with what we got and the prices were average. It was a very clean restaurant

Review: One of the best restaurant experiences I've ever had. Hands down! The food was very good and we had $3 jumbo margaritas, which were amazing! How can you pass up that? We will definitely be going back every year while in Myrtle Beach.

Review: This is the 2nd time we visited this restaurant and my family and I have now decided that this is a must visit for all our upcoming visits. You get a great meal for very little money. We love Mexican food and when we find one that stands out we continue to visit. Food came fast and plenty of it for the price. Can't wait till our next visit this summer to have it again.

Review: French fries? With Pollo Fundido? Not beans, not rice, not guacamole...french fries. When I asked why, the waiter said, I don't know, that's what the owner wants. Of course the owner wasn't there, and almost never is, according to the waiter. Other than that, it was just ... okay. I would not go back. French fries? Come on!

Review: We went there the past weekend and gladly we found this place in our 1st day in MB, food is delicious, staff is very kind, waiting time to be served is so little, margarita's superdelicious. We ate chicken milanesa and chicken quesadillas. nachos are soooo good there. definitely a place to comeback any time.

Review: I visit El Cerro Grande everytime I visit and ate here once a week when I lived in Myrtle Beach. The service is always fast. The margaritas are awesome. I'm from NYC where we have good mexican. El Cerro is one of the best!!!!!

Review: We chose this restaurant on our first night in town. Tired and hungry, we saw lines at several places, and found this restaurant could seat us right away. Pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food. Super buritto was "super". The beef fajetas were excellent. We all agreed we would go there again. Great way to start our vacation.

Review: The food here is delicious and the restaurant is very clean. The serving sizes are huge and the prices are very, very reasonable. We ALWAYS have leftovers for lunch the next day!! We have a vacation home in NMB and we look forward to coming to El Cerro Grande each time we come down. Be sure to save room for the sopapillas for dessert. They are excellent. The only drawback is that the restaurant offers a smoking section without any divided walls so you sit in smoke whether you like it or not. To avoid the unhealthy smoke environment, we always go early for dinner so we are out before it gets too smoky to enjoy our delicious meal.

Review: This is a GREAT place for really good food at fantastic prices. The staff was very attentive and eager to please. The one knock would be that there is no real non-smoking section. It is right next to the smoking section. We were lucky that no one was smoking while we were there.
Dinner for 3 and 2 desserts cost $39. and we took food home.

Review: We found the El Cerro Grande completely by accident when looking for another Mexican restaurant. It is off the beaten path in a small shopping area. Tired of standing in long lines, it was quite nice to be seated immediately. We went about 5:45 p.m. Our group of 6 women were pleased with our meals with the exception of the taco salads. They contained too much meat and were rather dry. My Pollo Ranchero was delicious as were the enchiladas, quesidillas and chalupas. It was a nice break from the "fish" restaurants! We would go there again.
