Very unhappy with the quality and over priced food. Tables were scarce and hard to come by. Very crowded due to lack of seating. Will not go back. ref: 3349 |

My wife and I did a little LRRP work last year and discovered Duffy's. The atmosphere is just what we were looking for. We are emptynesters so we don't have to act our age anymore. The food is good and the beer is cold and the staff attentive. The Blues music was an unexpected bonus. We will be returning this year with 4 other couples and will be making a few stops at this establishment. Walk in pick a seat and order your food and drinks. If you need to be greeted at the door and shown to a seat, go to a car dealer where they will be glad to help you, but BYOB. Looking forward to a return visit. A great place for good friends to just sit have a meal, a few drinks, and B.S. for awhile. ref: 3074 |

No they don't have greeters at Duffy's. They don't need them. That's just how laid back the atmosphere is. It's not a matter of being rude. It's more of a "Welcome, come on in, make yourself at home" type place. The noise level isn't any higher than any other popular eatory. The food quality and quanity is well worth the price. If you're looking for a place with linen table cloths and somebody to serve your every want and need, Duffy's isn't your type of place. If you want to lean back in your chair with a beer and listen to some blues while you enjoy your meal, Duffy's is the place to go. Four more weeks till I get my next Duffy fix. Can't wait! ref: 2690 |

This place was the pits. Dirty and loud, no greeters at the door to seat the customers, everyone was on their own if they wanted a table. The worst restauraunt experience I've ever had. We have been going to the Myrtle Beach area for over 40 years and this was the worst ever. ref: 2668 |

Ignore the reviews that say the prices are high. The prices are right on. Not cheap, but not expensive. The taste and quantity of the food easily justify the cost. There is a reason Planet Hollywood and the Hard Rock are still in business in this area. Some people like glossy homogenized tourist destinations. Other people will eat all the lousy seafood they can hold at a buffet if the price is low enough. Duffy Street is EXTREMELY casual, the food is excellent, the service is decent and the drinks are very good. The fried lobster sandwich and soft shelled crab sandwich are both very good. They come piled high with fresh cut fries and hushpuppies for $10. Sorry, I saw no celebrity memorabilia during my visit. ref: 2602 |

This place is great. Blues playing, Ice cold beer, peanut shells on the floor, you can't get anymore laid back. Our food was great and our server was wonderful. We sat on the deck outside and had the time of our lives. The two not so good comments above obviously have a problem enjoying themselves because if you can't enjoy yourself here, you need to have your head examined. We found the prices to be very resonable compared to surrounding restaurants. If your looking for something different from the regular old chain restaurant. I suggest you go to this little laid back family owned place. It's what the beach is all about. ref: 2235 |

Hey ! Its just a fun place to go -throw the peanut shells on the floor and dont forget the fried green tomatoes or the fried pickles. Try to get seated on the balcony though-the inside is small and crowded and you get a nice view. ref: 1079 |

You'll either love it or hate it, but I can tell you that they've got the best oyster soup EVER, and I don't even like oysters! Yummy!!! Very rugged place, but oh so beachy. I felt like I was in Key West. One expects to see an old salt hobble thru the door or hear a fog horn blow. You've got to see for yourself. I'll be back for the oysters soup for sure! ref: 1030 |

Love the atmosphere and decor. Popeye meets Sanford and Son. If it washed in in the last storm, it's hanging on the walls at Duffy's. Was there last Friday night. Great Blues playing on the sound system. Food is great. Hint: Longer wait for food if you order broiled. But worth it.
Wore Duffy's T-shirt to Rib Festival 500 miles away from beach and had several people comment how they love eating at Duffy's.

We loved this place so much we ate there twice during our week of vacation. The shrimp and scallops were fresh and delicious. Much better than the the two touristy seafood buffets we tried which cost an arm and a leg and had tasteless food. If you're of age, try the Key Lime Daiquiri -- very good. ref: 694 |

Been to Duffy's once and once was enough! Evidently they are really really proud of their food to charge what they charge for a plastic basket of overcooked & undersized shrimp and fries. The manager needs to get the prices in line with the type of restaurant they're running. They have the prices of semi-fine dining with food and service that is barely a step above fastfood. The only good thing about Duffy's was there was no wait to be seated and now we know why! ref: 501 |

Prices are too high based on overall food quality, compared to other similar restaurants in close proximity. Tries to be like B.O.'s at Key West, but nowhere near the quality or value. They do not have the cats, dogs or chickens of B.O.'s, either, but neither the food or prices. Overall atmosphere is good and the upper level gives a view of Cherry Grove. ref: 337 |

This is a Shack...but a fun, down to earth shack where you sit at picnic tables with a bucket of peanuts (throw on the floor of course) and a roll of papertowels for your napkins! They have a wonderful happy hour for peel and eat spiced shrimp (hot or cold), oysters, clams and crab legs. Order sandwiches to dinner plates to a bucket of your favorite seafood. It can't get more "BEACHY" than this. They do have a small kids menu (burger, fish, chicken or shrimp). If you sit up on the second story balcony you can sip your beer and get a glimpse of the ocean. ref: 133 |
