Review: All of you people are babies the sign on the door is there for a reason... Grow up there isnt a sign that says you have to eat there...if your fat and cant take the heat get the #$%^ out of the kitchen someone else would surely not care to take your seat... Review: We had a group of 8, just got home from the beach, went to dicks to have some fun, it was a great sat. Night, waiter was awsome, loud and just what we needed laughed so hard I had to stop eating my wonderful ribeye had a 32 oz bud lite service was great start to finish. Everybody there seemed to be having a good time. There is a sign that explaines all this to you what kind of atmosphere you will be part of inside these folks that didnt enjoy there time there with the hats and all just dont go leave room for people that enjoy life .

Review: Ok...granted there is a sign..but there is a limit between being rude to be fun and just down right rude and socially crude. The large waiter (apparently intimidating man) my family and I had was well past that line....I was very uncomfortable, upset to downright mad before the food ever come. I walked out...left money for my family to pay for food I ordered and did eat as take out. I will never go back to this restaurant. Fun is fun and he was rude with several adjectives which I personally explained to him before leaving. Food quality was average....could have got same quality here in Ohio at franchises like Shoney's and Captain D's...definitely not even average Mrytle Beach Restaurant quality. Save your money and go to Duffy's or Drunken Jack's or a hundred other places...

Review: I understand the theme of the restuarant. Have been there a few times in the past. We've enjoyed the humor, the hats and everything that goes with the theme. This visit was our last.
The food is below average in our opinion. Not worth the price.
To begin with. No menus. It's on the wall. Half the choices have funny names and no description of what the meal is.The waiter "explains " it to you. Trying to be rude he goes over it once and once only. Between his jokes and the loud music it's hard to understand what is said. You just make a wild guess.
Wife and I had Ribs and Chicken. Dark meat chicken wasn't bad. White meat and ribs were so dry we couldn't eat it. Tried to get drink refills to wash down the dry meal but all we got was a smart remark. Ha Ha.....
$120 for four of us and we left half the meal on the table. Not worth a to go box. We won't be back.

Review: For all of you people @#$%^ about how rude your server was, thats the @#$% point you #%$%@^. There is a sign that tells you what to expect when you get there. The food is average and prices are about the same. But the point in going there is the atmasphere. If you dont like it dont go.

Review: I went to dicks last summer and would not go back.They make little hats sayig insults about you. For instance mine said pillow humper with a arrow pointing at my head.The food was alright but was pricy. The waiters are funny, but are rude. My sister enjoyed the place,she wants a job there. i would not take children under the age of 10 there. They say a lot of dirty things.

Review: We expected to be insulted inside but as soon as we got up to put our name in, the man with a matter of minutes was very rude. He asked if we were all there we said yes the others were parking. He yelled at us and said until all are right in front of me your name isn't going on the list. We said we were all there, again. And he then turned to another group said I hope your not as stupid as the these guys and then followed by calling us huge retards which was extremely offensive seeing it was quite obvious of our mentally disabled person in our group. We immediately left. We are disgusted with this busines and highly advise you not to go.

Review: Just came back from dick's in Myrtle Beach...I went there with some family members and my 10 year old daughter and 16 month old son...It was such a good time....There is a sign outside warning you of what happens in there....Our waiter was awesome...He was rude and crude but not enough that it would offend our children..We did go at lunch time so I think they probably tone it down for children at this time..I wil DEFINATELY be going back to dicks the next time i am in myrtle beach...The Food was a little higher priced than other places but it was very good food

Review: I visited for vacation. Food wast great but not bad either, a little pricey. Waiter was hilarious. Basically a sketchy comedian serving food. He even had a group of elderly women laughing. If you have a sense of humor and arent too stingy with your cash, I HIGHLY recommend this place. Its a good time, really. I hope one opens closer to my town one day.

Review: The rating is not the point in this review...ignore it. Some reviewers say if you don't like it you don't have a sense of humor. Like everything it is a matter of taste in humor. if you like insult humor you will probably like it, if you are hammered you will probably like it, if you enjoy giving it as good as you get it, you will probably like it. Review: We Loved this restuarant!! Went for the first time during our family vacation and had our 5, 8 and 10 year old boys with us. The boys had a blast and they did tone it down for our kiddos. That is all my boys talked about for the duration of our vacation. Our family wore our hats proudly and had a family picture taken in front of the Dick's sign. The food was a little pricey but the entertainment was PRICELESS!

I've never been to this establishment, but my daughter has been there 4 or 5 times...*(my wife and I are going to Myrtle Beach on the 18th of April/11 AND WE'RE STILL NOT GOING... lol) We like burgers and fries and as I understand, they don't have burgers and fries......so we'll find an Applebees and save 50 bucks..we're cheapies..lol.....Oh I'll take a bag and write something on it and put it on my wifes head later...or in the spirit of Dicks..perhaps I'll put the bag over her head. Review: Go somewhere else to eat. Very overpriced food eg: seafood platter which consists of 4 small overfried shrimp and 2 small pieces of perch and 5 small crabballs for $18.95. This is outrageous for food. You could get insulted elsewhere and better food for far less money!

Review: Anybody that is dumb enough to take their kids here, deserve what they get. You have to have a sense of humor and the staff will banter back and forth with you all in fun. If you don't have a sense of humor, then this isn't the place. If you can't take an insult as a joke and give it back, then you're in for a shock. Review: My friends and I went here to eat for my 16th birthday, and we loved it. I was expecting to have a good time, but I honestly didn't think it'd be that fun. The food was a little pricey, but deffinately worth it. We all had a great time laughing at what they wrote on our hat's, my friend even hoped up on staged and sung me happy birthday. I will definately recommend this place to my friends and family.

Review: My family and I eat at Dicks every summer and we enjoy it. The food isn't the best but I have had worse. We go to have fun. My children think it is so funny. They don't understand what the hats are suppose to be because they are still young but they think it is funny to read what is on them. My waitress was really good. She didn't go overboard with the rudeness because I did have small children but she did her job. We actually found out she was from a town about 30 minutes from where we live but moved to Myrtle for the summer. If you are going for top notch food then don't go but to have a good time then I would recommend it...

Review: When I went to Dicks Last Resort I knew what I was waking into I went with my family from the ages 10-38. I loved this restaurant. When all you ever deal with are fake smiles and snobs it is a great experience to have a waiter who just doesn't care what they say. Also the hats made everyone laugh histarically because we all had the chance to make fun of one another. Even the group of elderly people seated next to us had a great time laughing with us. Review: My husband and I went here on our honeymoon.... I disagree with those who say it is not a family place. We loved everything about it and we are taking our parents back this year. Review: Since we were tourists and not familiar with Dick's, we went there to eat dinner. Instead we were insulted and harrassed by the entire staff. Since there was no adult supervision there, the staff did not know when to quit and just let us get a meal in peace. One of our part has Parkinson's disease, and the wait staff made several derogatory comments about her walking. You all might think your actions are humorus but we were so confused about what was going on that we stayed and ate. I can say that I will make sure anyone that I know that is going on a trip to Myrtle Beach, I will tell them to stay away from Dick's at the barefoot landing. It appears that you have nothing but a staff of immature children working there. Plus the food is for tourists only. Hopefully the next time I visit your business will have closed and a real restaurant will have moved in there.

Review: We went to Dicks about a week ago and LOVED IT!!!! My friend and I took a girls trip and we had heard so much about Dicks, so we knew we had to go there. Our waiter "Rick Doss the Boss" (as he called himself) was AWESOME!!!!! I will say I dont think it is a place for children under 12- the name should tell you that. Dicks was the highlight of our trip (other than being at the beach itself lol). Food was great and service was better, and we loved the hats! If you cant take a joke, then dont go but if u have an ADULT sence of humor then you must check it out. So if "Rick" can read this it is from the girls "from you dreams" LOL. Cant wait to go back, had the time of our lives.

Review: Wow, I never thought I'd read a restaurant review board and see somebody say they were going to consult a lawyer b/c of the treatment they received at a dining establishment. Get a life losers! I had a fun time at Dicks, and I had a nice back-and-forth with the low-class waitress who served me. She threw my menu at me, and came back and asked me, "What the hell do you want a-hole." I promptly told her that she needed to get me a beer ASAP, because, as a woman, it was her duty to get beer for men. I also told her she needed to be barefoot and pregnant, and that I could help her with the latter out in the parking lot after her shift. I asked her what it was like having to take a public bus everywhere, and if she liked the fact that she was going to be a loser waitress all of her life, probably have 8 kids from 8 different men (all of which would be mixed babies) and spend the rest of her life on food stamps. It was great getting to demean that little twit! Fun times!

Review: My family experienced "dicks" in July 2009 for the first time, and WE LOVED IT!!!!!!!! -2 adults 16 yr old-
Is it a "family" place? NO
Is it an "after church" place? NO
Is it a famous for the food place? NO
HOWEVER..........
This is a place meant for those who currently or have once worked in the business. For all of us who have put up with the "snobs" of the world who feel they are somehow better than us. For people with a sence of humor! This is a place everyone should work at once in their lives. Regardless of your "status" in this world if you have ever really worked for your money ( and I mean really kiss that ass for a few bucks not you silver spooners) then at one time or another you've wanted to tell someone to F*** OFF!!! This is the place to vent and have fun alll at once!
So, again family place? NO
Fun place? YES
And as far as the price, tell me what isn't overpriced anymore?
To sum it up if you have ever worked in the "real world" then yes by all means get your ass to dicks and have fun!!!!

Review: Not worth the money. I'm a local and would NEVER recommend this place. It's not that I don't have a sense of humor, as I do. It's not worth the money, because compared to other places you can choose, this place is grossly overpriced. The food is not impressive at all, actually below average. Our server really crossed the line with their infamous "rudeness" because his language was vulgar and worse than what you'd hear in the movies. Playing up the "rudeness" maybe their gimmick, but some basic common sense is required. Waste of time and money!

Review: OK, so we knew it was going to be different before we decided to eat here. Our waiter wasn't too bad as far as rude comments. He did make us laugh. He could have been a little more interested in refilling our drinks w/o being asked. I had ribs; a very small portion and not very tasty. Not comparable to 1/2 rack of ribs that I have gotten at other restaurants. Price is way too much for what little you get. I will not go again due to food quality, portion and price.

I was there with 8 teenage boys and my husband. After visiting once, you will go somewhere else, because the food really isn't anything to go back for.

Review: The food stinks, the place was riddled with the previous customer's stains and old chicken bones, yes, I said old chicken bones around the table, dirty chairs and tables. Rude is one thing but cursing with "GD" this and "F* bomb" with 6 - 12 year old kids is not acceptable. If you go to this restaurant and realize you made a mistake, I would only recommend this restaurant to a football team with the hope that they bestow a few physical accolades to the wait staff and see how funny they find it.

Review: Well, on my 4th of july vacation I ate at dicks for the first time. I was kinda warned of how they throw napkins and stuff like that but when we got there I must say we were seated very quickly. Once our waiter started in on his rude comments, my brother and me started throwing them back. The worst part was my mom was there....my mom doesnt have a very open sense of humor. The waiter called us "white trash" and I thought my mom was gonna flip! whoo-wee...that was crazy. The food wasnt that great and it was very pricey! u could easily get better food for cheaper prices somewhere else in myrtle beach. But the rest of us had a good time laughing and I loved the hats! Mine said "ill get naked for .25 cents" lol...it was cute! but it was very noisy and the chicken tenders and fries were not the best. I would suggest a better way of menu rather than looking at the wall to see the choices and maybe define the choices at that instead of stuff like "the dolly parton" or stuff like that, I mean what are you ordering??? oh well, it was fun and funny..

Review: I love the restraunt Dicks. I would def recommend it to anyone with a sense of humor, if you dont have that then please dont go. I agree children should not go. The service is great because that is what they are known for....The hats are the best. I love looking around and reading everyone hats. Review: I went with a bunch of friends, it was 8 of us. The service is rude, but like the sign says it is all in fun. I wouldnt reccomend for children---and when they come to get your money or credit card for the check make SURE that it is right. I was charged 2 times on my credit card and that really SUCKED! I think that you should go once for the laughs, but not twice ---there are so many other places with better food.

Review: My family and I went it was a party of 7 we were seated very fast. We were told it was a family environment but that is not the case. The name was taken out of context. We were given hats which was cute until they were written on. My 6 year old was ask what she wanted to eat and when she ask do you have chicken the lady said what are you stupid yeah we have chicken. My 6 year old cried because this waitress yelled at her. It is one thing to insult an adult but a child that does not know the difference. We were served colslaw that had a tampon it is that was painted with red paint. Every hat at our table was sexual in content. I just think that if their is a child at the table the sexual comments should be left out be rude but not dirty in the presents of a child. We were also told that we had to wear the hats they were condoms and we were all dick heads. The food was okay nothing outstanding but the price was really high for what you got. My husband ordered the shrimp bucket 5 shrimp cost was $17 bucks. PRICED HIGH. I will not be returning insult is fun and I was ready for the memorable evening but when it was all sexual content that was to much.

Review: Well after havig a kind of bad day from a birthda party gone bad, due to ex's not from texas, taken over the bd party, and no one seemed to have balls to tell her to get the hell out. Review: I have to say that I just love dicks. No, seriously. After a long hard day, theres nothing I want more than some dicks in my mouth. The waitstaff are pretty loose with the way they run things, they just let you come inside, and they like it. The best part about dicks is that they've got two enterances. If you have a large group you can come in the front or go around and get them in the back door. The first time we went to dicks, we got in a hairy situation with the waiters. They were coming on to us like crazy, little did we know they were supposed to do that. Obviously we were virgin dicks patrons, we are from up north and it was sure nice of dicks to take us down south. We had a hell of a time.

Review: I went to Dick's Last Resort restaurant back in 99'. I had the most amazing time in a restaurant you could have. Memories don't fade from experiences like that. I was sat next to my fellow Jarhead, and they gave me a condom hat that said ,"It's our first date." I laughed my ass off. Review: As a corporate pilot; have had the opportunity to visit all Dicks Last Resorts' throughout country. First, the servers have always been great! Second, seating accommodations can be from 5 minutes to several hours (depending upon location and season). Third, food has always been fabulous!! Be sure to order Mambo Beer!
The crowds can be wild and crazy; bras have been snapped off and thongs thrown across the tables on multiple occasions!!
Highly recommend the following Dicks: Las Vegas, Chicago, Myrtle Beach!! Truly, a fun and memorable time!!

Review: Just got home from our stay at MB. Had the time of our lives at "DICKS". I have to agree "CAMP LEJUNE" 8-2008, just don't know how to enjoy life.Sounds like a marine but they all aren't as stiff as that one sounded.

Review: We had heard so much about Dick's and what an experience it would be. My family and I and my friend and her family decided to give it a try on Friday. When I arrived I asked if I could be seated and wait for the rest of my party that were staying in a nearby hotel. I was told I could not be seated or began ordering until the entire party arrived. The food was horrible nothing was good. Appetizers tasted as if they were an experiment for the evening. I would only advise someone to go hear only if they wanted to be in the atmosphere not the food. I will never go back. This was the worse experience I ever had at a restaurant.

Review: Was not impressed at all. First of all you have to sit at a table with people you don't know, the restaurant was easily 85 to 90 degrees inside. I don' like sweat running down my back. The menu is posted on the wall with items such as "the Dolly Parton" ... What the heck is that???? The waiter wouldn't be bothered to answer questions more than once and he rushed us to order. When I go to eat I want to know what it is that I'm ordering since meals are 15-25$ each. Got 4 sodas 2 cheese sticks a salad and chicken tenders for$65. I ordered nothing and neither did my girlfriend. A guy was dragging a trash can across the floor and a toilet seat is mounted on the wall to look at while u eat. As for treatment... Being treated like a dick was as expected. The hats were ok and name calling ok but burping 2 feet from my head was gross. I will never go back and suggest if you are a hick or a pig you will feel right at home.

Review: I've been going every year for the past 10 years or so on vacation, and I'm only 18. Granted, be aware that this resturant will definitely be an "experience" to say the least. I always find my stomach hurting afterward.. from laughing so ridiculously hard! Every now and again, you'll get a waiter/waitress who despite their best efforts, just isn't funny, at all. The food is SURPRISINGLY excellent, and if you don't think so, it's because you didn't have the ribs! To the comments made back around april and may of last year on here, WHAT THE HELL DO YOU EXPECT!? Saying the waiters were rude, it's their JOB! haha. If you're looking for a good time and a good meal while in Myrtle, DEFINITELY make Dick's a stop. I will be there in a week, and I can't WAIT!

Review: I have been hearing about this restraunt for years and fianally I had the opportunity to dine there on the 4th of July for lunch. I was under the impression that the theme was just good FRIENDLY joking. However, I do not think that some of the wait staff is of the same mind set. One of the main things I was looking forward to was the hats and writing they put on them. They gave everyone a piece of paper and asked us to stand up and showed everyone how to make their own hat which was fine. After everyone made their hats they said they would be coming around to write on them. When the girl approached us,(who was not our waiter) to write on our hats I responed "I would like for our waiter to write on our hats". After all he had been the one waiting on us for the past 45 minutes or so(he was writing on the hats). I was just courious as to what he would write based upon his perception of us over the past 45 minutes or so. After all jokes are a lot more humerous when they are fitting to that person. So when the girl came over to write I just requested that the person that had been waiting on us write on our hats. She was extremly offened by this and believe me it was no fun joking to her. It was very apparent to me and everyone around that she was really mad. She went over and was telling all the staff what I had said. From this point on it was very apparant that the theme of the restraunt was being abused and the joking was being done with malice behind it. The waiter took my hat gave it to someone elese and came back a few minutes before we left with a new hat for me. It is very obvious that I am hearing impaired because I wear 2 hearing aids.Wright befor we left something popped extremly loud inside my hat. I have to turn my aids up in volume when I am out to eat so I can hear everything that is being communicated and this was physiclly painful. This was only one of the things they did. I have a great sense of humor and am very aware that in this atmosphere things can be taken in the wrong way but I am telling you this was not the case. The lady staff member was mad at me and took adavatage of the situation. I am not using names because I am NOT trying to get anyone in trouble. However, I do think that management, owner and whoever has a vested intrest in Dicks should be aware that the great atmosphere and theme of this restraunt can be taken advantage of and short of walking out you are at their mercey. Food was Great and I wish this company much succsess. I am sure you get a lot of letters and people have just misjudged what had taken place. This WAS NOT THE CASE.

Review: I know the waiter is rude, the hats. It was a fun place. But do not go there is you are hungry. The BBQ ribs were bragged on but the flavor was below average at best. If you could see my waist line I know bbq ribs these ribs sucked. Plus for the money paid the portions were at least half the size of normal restaurants. So if you want to pay a lot of money for average food and small portions go to Dick's.

Review: My friend, her family and I came here over spring break in March 2008. The first night we were at Myrtle Beach (on a Saturday) we came to this restaurant and we had a really good time. The food, the service, and the value for our money was great. The seating could have been better, but I understnad because it was so crowded, and I see why. Everything is awesome, even the rude waitors/waitresses! I will definitely be back! Thanks for a great time! (P.S.: My friend and I are already planning our next spring break here!)

Review: I had been to Dick's before and we were with a small child so it wasn't that enjoyable, the waiter did bite his toungue. So i made it a point to return w/o a child to get the complete experience. The perfect time was for a family reunion my family had. My 3 brothers (all smart a**), my dad, my husband and I went. I told my dad what it was like but we agreed not to tell my brothers. When we got there and the person seating us threw the menus down and told us to enjoy our food or not.... the look on their face was priceless. They then realized what was going on and it was great watching my brothers and the waiters go at it. I am sooo ready for another visit. For those that complain about the treatment, rudness, etc... lighten up, have some fun and pull the stick out of your butt.

Review: Went to Dicks for dinner, food was not graet and especially for the money. We didn't care cause we were all about the atmosphere, well it was nothing we had to ask for a hat our waiter said nothing, no insults no jokes nothing. I saw other tables having fun while we just sat there. Totally disapointed although the band was good. I heard so much about this place and how funny it was well to me it was like getting poor service in a bad diner, don't waste your money on dinner unless your with a big group (they seem to get better attention) sit at the bar and watch the others.

Review: I can handle being treated rude, they treat everyone rude it is part of the experience. What I have trouble with was ordering the ribs & chicken combo. For 16 bucks I got 5 ribs a piece of chicken and a chicken leg. The ribs were bragged as being the best item on the menu. If that is the case you should shut down now. Review: WOW! What else can you say about Dick's? The atmosphere is absolutely amazing. If you don't have a since of humor, you might as well not even attempt to go here. The waiter we had was hilairious and knew how to take a joke. The food was sub-par at best, but the atmosphere is what you are actually paying for. For future reference: if you're planning on going to Dick's, just order an appitizer and some drinks. It's definately a must if you're in the Myrtle Beach area. Review: Another rude, mistreated and abused trip to Dick's! Boy was it great!!! My husband and I go to Dick's each time we come to town, this time we have introduced our children, 13 and 11 and boy was it fun to watch them since they didn't know what to expect. The food was good just a little pricey but guess that is the norm for tourist areas. If you want to kick back enjoy a drink and be treated rude you gotta go. April 2007 Michigan comment writer stay in Michigan and all 3 of you need to reevaluate yourselves. Get a life and your fiance should check to see if he still has a pair.
Dicks is awesome. Have a sense of humor and learn to have some fun and actually relax when going out to eat. Have a few drinks, laugh, have fun, enjoy the food and take care of your server. Unless you've ever worked in a restaurant you probably don't realize that Servers only make $2.13/ hr. On top of that the tips that they make from guests which is the majority of their pay is used to help pay other employees at the restaurant such as Hosts, Busboys, Foodrunners and Bartenders.

Review: My girlfriend and I took my then 9 yr old son to Myrtle beach 6 years ago and we ate at Dick's. We had a great time. We all still talk about our experience there! My girlfriend and I are going back to Myrtle beach this August and we can't wait to go back to Dick's! The waiter was rude to us. I asked for mozzerella sticks and he said they didn't have those. 15 minutes later he brought an order of mozzerella sticks to the table next to us! It was soooo funny! I complained to him (in good humor) and he said "well too late to order now lady! I all ready put your order in dumbass!" It was very funny and we had a great time!!! It was 6 years ago, but I still can remember what our hats said. My Son's said "the girls at school kick my butt" my hat was very tall and it said "my vibrator is bigger than this" and my girlfriends hat said "my legs are like wallmart...always open" Very funny people there!!! Review: SCREW THIS PLACE. Not only were the staff rude comedian wannabees who seemed to be in competition with each other (among other things) but their service was not focused on the actual task. Only a masochist would like this place. And don't give me that #$%*! about the food being good. My daughter had a big lump of raw dough in a hushpuppy. And when I asked the waiter to taste or even just look at my raw piece of fish he responded with some more feeble attempts at humor saying "..it must be Sushi," and "Well, you're still going to have to pay for it." I went to manager as my entire party exited and gave him my ID and hotel where I was staying and informed him that I was not paying. The waiter? All he got was a dirty penny I found on the floor (probably someone else's tip) and, according to the manager's subsequent email, "an ass-kicking" and a paycheck deduction; in the amount of our tab. Hey! This place does have a "sense of humor" after all.

I really didn't know what to expect when I was taken there by some friends. I had never heard of the place. I tried to play along after I saw what their gimmick was, but I couldn't hardy buy into the punk waiter being such a smartass to us.
I got a little tired of the waiter thowing things at us, so when I threw the menus back at the waiter, that pretty much ended the show for our whole party. He stopped making condom hats and everything.
I would have liked to have enjoyed the visit. I spent over $100 there for five of us to eat.

Review: My son chose the restaurant because he gets a kick out of the rude treatment. But, we found that the waiter(s) were only half-hearted in their attempts to belittle us and only 1/2 the party got those condom-shaped hats to wear. The ribs we ordered were full of fat and gristle and the portions were small.
The prices on the menu have gone up while the portions have gone down.
In all, we decided that this would be the last time we chose Dick's. There are so many restaurants in Myrtle Beach that there is no reason to put up with mediocrity.

Review: We had been to Dick's last year and enjoyed ourselves. Yeah, the waiters are rude but that is what this restaurant is all about. My big disappointment was that we left the restaurant without the big white hats. When I ask our waiter when he was going to get our hats, he said he didn't have time. But he had gotten the other 2 or 3 tables around us that he was waiting on, their hats soon after they were served their food. It wasn't rush hour. It was the end of the lunch serving hour, about 3:30. I was not happy and our tipped showed it. For the abuse we put up with, we should have came out with our hats. I won't bother to go back.

Review: I guess good food isn't the draw here. The food was excellent, but locker room humor befitting young teens is the bill. I'm not old, but I gotta wonder what is so funny about seeing a bunch of grownups with condoms on their heads and bartenders making flatulence sounds. Civility is in the dumptster out back at this joint. I'll not go back. I guess each to their own, but this is just a poor example of what low levels of gimmicks some people willl reach for in order to make a buck. Bottom line - great crab cakes, but not worth the low level of dignity to go back for more.

Review: I got a great case of crabs at Dick's and loved it. The perky little waitress thought she had a great butt (which she did) and I let her know about it. I payed for that comment the rest of the evening and couldn't have been happier.
Great band and oh, don't ask your server where the rest rooms are.
Like they say if you don't have a good sense of humor, stay away.

Review: The place is very different frim any aveage restaraunt. The workers through things at you and they leave the food there for you to get and don't hand it to you like polite people. The meals came with very little of what you wanted like 6 shrim for 20 bucks.I would go back for the laughs and the band but not for the food.

Review: I had my first visit to Dick's last week, I had a blast! I was a little hung over and not much fun, so my friends said...Anyway, the waitress was alot of fun and in no time I was laughing my ass off. The place was like a comedy house, I really enjoyed the wings and ribs they were awesome. Only thing was the beer prices were high, other than that I highly recommend visiting. Review: I love Dicks!! Every year I go to Myrtle Beach, eating there is a MUST!! I tell everyone about it. And suggest it to everyone if they are looking for a good laugh and a good time. My family heard about dicks how great it is and we had to go to find out for ourselfs...and let me say Dicks was one of the best things we did on vacation. Yah i no u mite say omg u must not of done anything else..yes we did alot of stuff but i like the kind of entertnment. They were really rude but it was great. but we didn't have to wait long..the threw the place mats at u...they made you pass out everyone drinks and they even made you figure out whos food was whos!! it was great.. I got chicken fingers and it was dilcicious and the price is afordable. The hats are the best part..at first I didnt want them but ya I changed my mind. Mine said Future hooters reject!!! lol I luv it..Sum girls didnt like theirs and started crying...if u cant take a joke you shouldnt come to Dicks..cause they tease you real bad...my favorite hat was one brothers hat said my butt hurts and his brothers hat says my finger stinks!! lol I luved it...sumone said I go both ways...haha...i no sum of u dont think its funny but come on take a joke once in a while...I want to go back there when I go to Myrtle Beach and I recommended you and I will recomended other people I no to come to dicks...its great entertnament and great food.

Review: When we went to Dicks, we did not wait very long. We had to sit with another group of people, which was ok but it was uncomfortable at times. Review: We got there a hour before they closed. The service wasn't what I had hoped!~ We expected really rude service (as we have seen reviews of how they are rude and make fun of you) and the guy was actually very cool. He threw a fist full of straws on the table when he brought our drinks. He made our hats. My dh's was "My package is so SMALL UPS can't find it." Mine said UPS! My daugther's hat side "I have skid marks in my underpants". Food was OK. Dh orders steak and crab cakes and was GREAT price. I order shrimp. I had hoped it would have been better but it was no more then bar food. The restaruant was on a lake at Barefoot Landing and there are TURTLES out the butt! The one waiter dropped some ribs on a lady and they her a free t-shirt. And the waiter threw the ribs in the lake for the turles and allagator. My daugther was more interested in the turtles then her own food! She kept throwing fries at the turtles. Overall it was a good place. Was kind of concerned about taking our daugther after what I had read but it was great!

Review: Wow, where do I start... Had to got o Dick's everyone talked about it. So, we went we were seated in about 20 minutes. Of course we already knew what to expect but expected better service then what we got. The host sat us and neglected to provide us with menus. The server took for ever to take our drink orders and when he finally did took for ever to bring them out. The food was seriously overpriced. I had a better meal for 10 bucks at a local chinese buffet that offered 120 items. He was not very attentive and apparently let our food sit by the warmer for a while because my crab cakes were warm but soggy. I was very dissapointed with the service, food and over all atmosphere of the restaurant. Won't go again and won't defenitely recommend it to anyone.

Review: My sister and I visited Dicks with our young teen daughters. The food was great and the atmosphere was phenomenal. We didn't stop laughing the whole time. Review: My fiance', father-in-law to be and myself stopped into your restaurant, for the first time, on April 23, 2007 around 16:30 hours. We were greeted by a young man who checked my fiance's I.D. and asked for his hand. This person was about to put an ink stamp on his hand and my fiance' asked why. This person said that it was to show that he was old enough to consume alcohol. My fiance' asked if he had to do this and the reply was, "Fine, if you want to be an old man about it." My fiance' stated, "No, I don't want that." This person got three menu's and walked past several empty tables to a table for twelve that was up against a railing. This person "told" us, and indicated with body language, that one of us was to sit on one side up against the rail and the other two of us were to sit directly across. My father-in-law to be headed down the first side and we slowly followed the young man down the other side. My fiance' stopped about half way down and I was still close to the end. The young man stated to my fiance', "go all the way down." The young man then preceeded to throw the menu's onto the table in a pile and said, "here." The young man left the area and as I approached my fiance' I noticed that there was a large puddle of liquid on the table where my father-in-law to be was told to sit. I warned him of this and he sat one chair away. My fiance' then stated, "hell no, we aren't staying here." Frustrated, he left the restaurant as I waited for my father-in-law to back out from the table and I followed him towards the doorway. As we approached the host area the first young man was talking with another young man and a young woman. The two men had smirks on their faces and my father-in-law said, generally to all three of them that, "we've changed our minds. We won't be staying." The first young man said something about coming back and then the second young man said, " yeah but don't bring the big old man," and they laughed to themselves. My father-in law- to be said, "well thank you but I don't think so." The offer to return was repeated by the first young man and again the second young man made a comment about not to bring the "big" guy. They were smirking still and this time the statement came out with an attitude. My father-in-law to be said, with conviction, "that's my son you're talking about!" and I chimed in, also with conviction, "that's my husband you're talking about!. We have several questions regarding this interaction at your restaurant.
1. Why only card one of three people in the group?
2. Why were we "told" exactly where to sit?
3. Why were we taken to a dirty table when there were many available? (we only noticed four other people inside during our brief stay)
4. Why were the menu's thrown onto the table?
5. What were the two men smirking over?
6. Is it your policy to have employees be rude to potential customers and then insult them on the way out?
7. Is it possible that this was racially motivated as we were a mixed party?
Should we speak with any of our friends or family regarding this experience our remarks will not be favorable. Not to be malicious but to spare them the rudeness and mistreatment that we experienced. We also plan to consult an attorney as to the content of the interaction we were exposed to.

Review: I have to say I was a little scared when I heard what I was in for at Dick's. But what really threw me off was how amazing everything was. You would think it would be just a burger joint, but the food was pretty "upscale". The atmosphere was awesome, the waiters were hysterical, it was so much to take in. The hats they give out are hysterical. I might just be 14, but having my hat say "I play with naked barbies" was one heck of a laugh. They do keep it clean for younger children, which is very nice to see. But to be honest the wait for the restaurant was ridiculously long, but after my experience it was totally worth it. As a final review this restaurant is somewhere everyone should go to if they are able to.

Review: It is a very fun place, but don't go in prime times (like spring break). I called ahead and asked when is a less busy time, and they said come before 6pm, at 5:30pm we were told the wait was 45 min. and we waited 1hr 30min for a party of eight.
TIP don't come hungry the food is not good, portions are small and expensive. Eat somewhere like T-Bones (also at Barefoot Landing) where the food is excellant, then just have an appetizer and a beer and enjoy the FUN, and you might get out with a bill under $25 each.

Review: My family and I went to Dicks last resort in myrtle beach July 2006. It was our first time, and we had a WONDERFUL time. My 16 year old daughter and 17 year old niece didnt know about the rude part, and at first they kept looking at me and my husband like our waiter had lost his mind ! But they caught on quickly. It wasnt real crowded the day we went so we got very quick service. Our waiter was great. Review: My family has been there each time we visited Myrtle Beach. I have to say this is truly the best place to visit. The food is good and the price right. But you go for the atmosphere and good time. I have a 10 year old daugther and every time we go the waiters/waitress keep it clean for the kids. If you don't want to have a good time don't go. But if you are looking for a time you'll laugh about for the rest of your lives definiately go. Dicks is what Myrtle Beach is all about. We even brought our friends who are very conservative and a little stuffy and they even had a great time. Dick's staff the Soccer Mom and her family are coming back in April spring week so have your place ready. My review is come to Myrtle Beach and visit Dick's.

Review: I go to myrtle beach with my family every year and dicks is one of the top attractions that we look forward to. The waiters are amazing and the overall atmosphere is incredible. I do not suggest you go there if you do not like getting made fun of or if you do not have a good sense of humor because that is what it is all about. But if you have a great sense of humor like my family and i then you will love this place and continue to return every year!

Review: My wife and I are snow birds and have enjoyed great "Happy Hour" drinks and food at "Dirty Dick's" for the past 4 or 5 years. We regret to report that the former good-time's at Dick's are no more.
We could not believe the change this year. A once great place to spend an afternoon or evening is now a sad shadow of itself. We did not bother to order any food after paying almost $7 for 2 flat beers at 4:30. When I asked the bartender what happened, his only comment was "We don't do that anymore!!"... a direct quote.
Avoid this place. We do not know what's happened here but it is not good for us or any other vacationer.

Review: Great for the entertainment----not for the food. We have some pretty hefty eaters in our family and they would not even finish the well below average quality of the food. And it is too high priced. This is not the cleanest place to eat either. We did laugh our butts off---at ourselves and others and then we went to eat somewhere else.

Review: My husband and myself read the reviews of dicks. I have been there a few times and not once have I walked out the door without tears from laughing at those guys. I truely feel like those sucky stuck ups who wrote those bad reviews should really try to grow a since of humour. And I have to say... I had shrimp the last time I was there and they were great . Review: We took our four small children to Dick's for lunch. We told them about the service so they wouldn't be afraid. They had a blast. We also had Dave, the waiter from the video. He was fun. The food was also excellent. The only downfall was the 3 inch cockroach crawling on the floor beside our table. I wanted to tell the waiter, but my husband wouldn't let me, he just smashed it when it went under our table. Us northerners don't do roaches!!! Yuck!

Review: We ate lunch here 9/1/06. We didn't tell our teenage daughters about the place before we went so they were a bit surprised to say the least. They caught on quick enough and we all had a great time. The hats and bibs were hilarious and the food was good. Lunch wasn't too pricey, especially for how much you get. I *definitely* recommend Dick's. I will make it a point to go here if I'm ever in MB again.

Review: We had lots of fun at Dicks, but not as much fun as we expected to. Waiter was very cute and but was too nice. He could have been a little ruder, but maybe cooled it down some because of my 3-year-old at the table. Only four out of seven got hats, a little disapointing.
We did have fun, but expected it to be funnier. Food was subpar, and prices a bit high.
We will go back next year and try again, though.

Review: We just got back from Myrtle Beach and had a great time at Dick's. The food was o.k., but the waiter was great (he's the waiter in the video on the web site). This is our second time at Dick's and both times were hilarious. Our first waitress, four years ago was soooooo funny and rude. Our youngest daughter really got into it and still has a picture of her in her room. By the way the waitress we had four years ago is now the manager of Dick's. She picked up the cost of our drinks and desert at our recent visit.........THANKS!!

Review: Went on our last vacation and although we knew the type of resturant Dick's is, I thought they were totally over the top. We took our son and his friend (both early teens) and the comments written on all our hats were really vulgar considering their ages. In addition, if I want to eat frozen crab cakes, I can buy them at the grocery store. Our bill for 4 came to $140.00 (before tip) which was insane for the poor quality of the food. If you do not care for crude and disgusting comments I would stay away from Dick's.

Review: I have always heard how great Dicks was. Well, I finally went and it wasnt. No hats, no fun, nothing! We were seated after about an hour and a half, which is fine when you are going to have a blast, and we were seated outside. We were the only ones out there and our waitress didnt come to ask us what we wanted to drink for 40 minutes. She wasnt rude like we had hoped, just kinda out there. She really did forget about us because we were the only ones outside. She finally got us drinks, took our order, and then forgot to put the order in. We waited forever! This wasn't the fun we had hoped for. We were very disapointed and will not waste our money there again.

Review: We go there every year for bike week only to drink and the entertainment. The food is below average at best.
This year we went to see the Womans Tattoo contest.
We were disapointed that the contest turned out to be a strip down naked contest and the winner had the least and lamest Tattoo of all the contestants and she was ugly as sin. But she stripped completely naked. A house full of drunks were the judges.There were a few women with beautiful Tattoos. We felt bad for them because they didn't have a chance against the naked gal. So much for a "Tattoo Contest". This place is good for one visit for the entertainment only. If your looking for good food I suggest you go "anyplace else".

Review: What a fun place! I go there several times during bikeweek and I love it. I would not miss it for anything. The rather large lady that works at the t-shirt sale counter is a trip, and a real sweet heart! She gave me hard time before I bought a T-shirt. So when I bought one, she asked if I needed a bag with that, and I said yea, are you coming with me! She then threatened to kick my ass!
The food is average for a choke and puke type place, but the atmosphere is awesome. Everyone, including the staff, gets to act like the asshole that they have always wanted to be, but can't do it anywhere else. What a nice break from reality! I shall return!

Review: My boyfriend and I were there over Labor Day weekend and we had a BLAST.. our waiters name was DAN and he rocked, even though he had to be rude he was pretty cool. We had fun with the people around us and his comments on our hats were priceless...we laughed the whole time we were there...and the food wasn't bad.
The portions of the main course are small but the bucket of fries and the desserts are crazy HUGE!!! And if you have the VIP card your bill isn't much at all. It was like $35 and we both had meals, a dessert which was so big two of us didn't finish, and alcohol and I walked out of there with a glass...
I highly recommend Dicks Last Resort!!!!

Review: It is true; if you have never been to Dick's, it's worth one trip, but why would anyone go back unless you were taking someone you didn't like! Of course, you have to buy into the rudeness and noise, that is part of the package, but the food isn't that great and you can't even get a burger, but you can expect to pay $12-14 per entree (which is served in a bucket) if I remember. Lots of other places to try in MB without putting yourself through this experience more than once.

Review: Atmosphere: Although the attitude is part of the atmosphere - they've taken it too far. It's angry, not funny. There are no jokes, only insults. Never even got a Condom Hat - that's half the reason to go.
Food: Chickens wings were dangerously undercooked. Table and floor were beyond filthy. The Dept of Health would have a hayday here.
Service: Waiter never asked if we needed anything. He never checked in on us once. Do they have dessert? We'll never know - oh well. Our waiter pocketed the cash we gave for the bill. Did it ever make it into the register? After seeing the bill tossed on the floor, unlikely. I mentioned my observation to another employee, and the response was "it's his money anyway".
I will NEVER return to Dick's or recommend it to anyone.

Review: This place is a favorite for our vacations. The kids really loved it! Bring your sense of humor and prepare to be insulted while you enjoy some of the best food around. Loved the atmosphere, and the hats were a special treat. We've actually saved ours from year to year, and last summer we walked in wearing our hats from a previous visit. Review: I loved it!! I thought the service was great, the night we were there, every table seemed to have at least 2 waiters/waitresses. Of course, that meant double the insults. You definitely need a sense of humour and cannot be easily offended. Not for the faint of heart. Loved the condom shaped hats they put on your head... every one had their own personal insult to bring home. I loved the blackened chicken, very spicy. Band was excellent, next time I go I would plan to stay longer though. Definitely a must when visiting Myrtle Beach.

Review: You MUST have a good sense of humor to eat at Dick's Last Resort!!! Thankfully, we did think their antics were very very funny, but there were other groups at nearby tables that were offended by the the waiters and waitresses insults and rude comments. We thought they were hilarious, and tipped them anyway. :)
You just have to go there at least once to see what I mean. Very very funny indeed.
