Review: Half full at 6PM and they were out of dinner rolls and that was only after we had to ask our waiter for them. One steak was well done and it was ordered rare. the manager could offer no reason or explanation for no rolls for a half full restaurant. After finally bringing rolls the waiter disapperared. Finally flagged him down and had to ask where the rare steak was. The waiter when presenting the check was informed we were offered no refills, either. His reply I have 7 tables and mine was well there are only 7 tables full. The manager made no offer to try to make things right. Compannies like this lose their regular loyal customer base one person at a time but this time they have lost not only my family but any one who asks for a good restaurant. Desperados is DONE.

Review: We were visiting Myrtle Beach as a family and found this restaurant purely by chance and what a find. It was excellent. The staff were friendly, the food was fabulous especially the sweet potatoes and the apple sauce, and the atmosphere was comfortable and inviting. We are going back to Myrtle Beach this summer and are absolutely looking forward to going back to Deserados. It is a great dining experience.

Review: Ok, after reading the good reviews here we took the ride out of Myrtle during bike week to try this place. We sat at the bar and they were in the middle of a shift change so even though there were only a few people at the bar it took some time to get a beverage. My wife and I both ordered the burgers . It was the typical area food, greasy burgers and greasy fries. I actualy took bar napkins to try to soak up some of the grease from my food. The wife picked at hers and discarded the roll it was so greasy. Its a nice place but don't watch TV here. The tv's are placed about 16ft off the floor so you have to really put you head back to watch TV ! Are they kidding? You can get a nose bleed trying to watch them. Needless to say we scratched this place off the list.

Review: Great restaurant. Went there at the end of a long day at Family Kingdom. Fast service, quick refills. Ordered the sirloin and got a prime rib by accident. It was great! :-)

Review: We moved down to Myrtle Beach in 2005 and the bank where I do my business recommended the restaurant. We loved it. We rarely have to wait to be seated. We've taken people there on about 5 occasions and been there as a couple on another 5 or 6 occasions. We're never disappointed with the service or the food. Plus, it's great to avoid the crowds at the restaurants nearer to the beach.

Review: We always bring people from Church on Sunday and generally eat there again during the week, always the lunch menu. The food is always excellent and everything else is absolutely great. However, today we took 4 friends in mid-afternoon, after bragging upon the place so much and nothing went right! We question even if there was a manager present. We had to chase for refills, food ingredients were left off the salads, no personal attention at all. It became a joke among our friends and us. We have always felt that it was the greatest until this time. While I am embarrassed to even suggest this because it is contrary to my nature, I honestly feel it would be in the best interests of Desperado's to grant a credit, or whatever, to bring these folks back again to prove that the restaurant is the quality of institution that we stated it to be. Review: Food we had was good but what we wanted to order was not available. It was 3:30pm and the prime rib would not be available till 4:00pm. This was the Saturday before Fathers Day which in the menu does not specify after 4:00pm for prime rib.
