Review: Had a french dip there and absolutely loved it. The coffee was great too with many many options for flavors. I also noticed a huge selection of flavored sodas too. I've heard some nasty things about some of the waitresses but the waitress i had was a really cool lady.

Review: So this is one of my favorite restuarants in the area! after reading these previous reviews I will say I understand a restuarant being on the cold side its a public environment and should be bc of germs and other bacterias. Another thing I wanna note is that most people complain about a splitting a meal fee, split it urself its not fine dining ur only paying 10 bucks for a salad its a cafe. Everything is amazing in this place food service and atmoshpere which is hard to find these days. I go to this place up to 3 times a week cat and kerry are so kind to me and whoever I bring in. I have been in for breakfast lunch and dinner, everything is always fresh and delicious. Prices are perfect and portions are generous. I definitly reccomend eating at crystalite to everyone I know! I look forward to going back once I have recovred from my surgery..

Review: I love the food and the service is great. Rumor has it that the chicken salad was better in the past, so I don't order it any more. I do miss the tall waitress that is going to CCU. She was great! Had a wonderful smile and was our best waitress.

Review: The BEST. My husband and I went here two weeks ago for dinner and again last night. I had the special, fruit with chicken salad which was very fresh and delicious. My husband had appertizer and fish for entree. His food was beyond wonderful. The service was excellent. Enjoyed visit by the chefs. They were cooking cheese cake but we could not wait for it to finish. But did take some beyond great pecan pie home. The prices are perfect. ?Really not sure where the precious reviewers ate at but aaa the windows are not tinted. Matter of fact the sun was shining so strong through window close to me I had to adjust my chair. The service was always bringing fresh/hot bread and refilling our tea glasses. Please go here.

Review: My wife and I went there for dinner. The service was poor and the food was too. We ordered steaks medium and they came out burnt. The potatoes were so old they may have been cooked the day before I'm not sure. Wont go there again.

Review: Used to be regulars at this restaurant, however, service has diminished since the owners are no longer a presence. Like most commentators here, I agree that the Honey Almond Chicken Salad was a real treat. I use the term WAS because it no longer is. Had it the other day and it was bland and dry! I have to say I make it a lot better then they do, and it doesn't cost nearly as much! Too bad, will no longer frequent this place. Also, as a note, they had window tinting done, and now it is dark as a cave in there a lunchtime. Can't imagine what its like a night.....

Review: My husband & I discovered Crystalite Cafe' last winter while staying in the area. We fell in love with it all. Staff, food,fun loving waitress's. You just felt at home. The owner was a great lady, too. My husband took a picture of the place so he could show others where to go! He died in October, 2009 of lung cancer. We will not be back but the memories of the great meals and wonderful prople will remain close to my heart. WONDERFUL food & GREAT coffee!!

Review: We ate lunch here and found the service very mediocre. One waitress was chewing gum with her mouth open unaware how unprofessional it is. My chicken salas sandwich was like pureed baby food and my husband had the cuban sandwich which was very small for the price. To top it off it was a cool November day and it was absolutely freezing in there. Other customers were going to their cars to get jackets and I heard one gentleman complain his coffee was cold. needless to say we wont be back. there are plenty of places to get a hot cup of coffee and a good meal! I won't recomend this place!

Review: I love this cafe. We heard about from a fellow passenger on the flight down to Myrtle Beach. She is a resident of Surfside and we were chatting and came highly recommended. We were not disappointed. We love the food and absolutely love the coffee. We purchased 2 pounds for our stay and wished we bought more to bring home

Review: This is without a doubt one of the VERY best restaurants in South Carolina!!!! We live in Darlington, SC and have a house in Garden City, SC. We went to Crystallite just to try it out, because we had heard so many great things about it and we were not disappointed! We go every time were at the beach, at least 2 or 3 times each visit! The food is WONDERFUL, the waitresses, especially Keri & Kat, are FABULOUS, and Jill with GREAT! The desserts are out of this world, the Honey Almond Chicken Salad is my favorite and the HOMEMADE Biscuits and Sausage Gravy are my husband's favorite! I can't imagine anyone not having something positive to say about Crystallite Cafe, the food and especially the staff!!!!!

Review: This is an excellent little café. The food is very good. The servers and owner are friendly. Have not had dinner there yet. My one complaint was that they refused to split a huge salad in the kitchen for my husband and me. We frequently eat at high-end restaurants in the area and Charleston and have never been refused to have a plate split in the kitchen. Paying extra for this is not an issue. They should offer to split a plate with a fee or just bring an extra plate for those who do not want to pay the split fee.

Review: My husband, daughter, and I eat here as often as possible. The food is absolutely delicious; homemade, well prepared and beautifully presented. The desserts are too die for; yummy, yummy.
We recommend Crystalite to all friends and family who come to the beach for a visit. Best place to dine on the south end!!

Review: You cannot receive a better value for your $. The staff is exceptionally pleasant and very efficient. The coffee is great with such a large selection. Keep up the good work. We come in there often when come to Surfside Beach.

Review: Food and service are very good - but our main complaint is that the three times we have been there the restaurant ihas been freezing cold - we usually leave with icicles hanging off our noses and frozen fingers. If they would jack the heat up a bit we might consider returning, but its not fun eating if you are cold, so its unlikely we will go back.

Review: I was impressed by the food selection and the desserts looked amazing. My veggie wrap was good but did not contain the promised mushrooms. The crowd is older females mostly with a few businessmen mixed in. The servers are exceptionally nice.

Review: Best lunchtime cafe in the area! Quaint atmosphere, fresh ingredients, and a variety of items to choose from on the menu. I am a local and eat here for lunch frequently because I can get a healthy meal and great service. The honey almond chicken salad sandwich is the best! Also try the salad with feta cheese vinagrette dressing. Desserts are yummy also...chocolate chunk cookies and rocky road cake are my favorites!

Review: This a great little cafe that will not disappoint you! You can get anything from fresh pastries/muffins/cakes to made to order omlets for breakfast and for lunch all sandwichs and wraps are fresh and tasty. I have ordered several cookie and pastry trays from them and have never been let down. Full service coffee bar. You can't beat it.
