We are locals and visit Crabby Mike's several times a year. We even go in the summer months and because we are local and can show a local ID, we do not have to wait very long. We always enjoy the food. My husband goes for crab legs and I eat a combination of everything. The ribs are especially good. The sauce is spicy but just the right flavor and very tender. I also like the catfish, shrimp, and don't forget the good desserts. The wait people are always very helpful and attentive. If you have not tried Crabby Mike's please do and I am sure you will not be disappointed.

Crabby Mikes.. where do I begin? At first I really didn't want to eat there. I don't like seafood as much as my father and brother. Though when I went in the scenery was REALLY impressive, I spent a good chunk of time looking around at everything between food. Their food was more than I could imagine, they had beyond seafood (pizza, chicken, ribs, etc.) which really made me satisfied. When I was there it was pretty noisy, but quiet enough where I could hear who I was with. It maybe does cost alot, but if your looking for an excellent dinner out, I would totally recommend you eat at crabby mikes.

We were vacationing from Nebraska and was hoping to find a good seafood place. We just happened to come across Crabby Mikes after reading some reviews. Expecting to wait a long time, being summer, we were so surprised to be seated after 2 minutes. they told us the wait would be 45-60 minutes. We were amazed at the many varieties of food and the varios types of seafood we had never tried before such as Flounder, deviled crab, crawfish, and froglegs. The food was very good. We liked the crablegs best. Our server was fabulous, immediately removing dirty plates, refilling our water and answering our many questions. He was very pleasant. The atmosphere/decor was very fun, lively and cheerful. We would definitely recommend it.

I have been here twice in the past month. Each time there was a ton of people outside waiting to get in. Each time I expected a long wait only to find I was seated with in 20 to 30 minutes. While you are waiting outside, there is a DJ playing music and hoola hoops for the kids to play with to the beat of the music. So the time goes by rather quickly. Once inside, the restaurant is clean, staff are friendly, and the food is never empty. They NEVER ran out of crab legs and the Prime Rib was cooked to perfection. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone (and I have).

My husband went only for the crablegs...and he was able to finish several plates and was very satisfied! I on the other hand was able to nibble at the expanse of the other 119 items. Many items made in house. Everything from the soup, salad until dessert, I enjoyed everything! Don't let the price scare you away...quality is everything!

My daughter-in-law took me on an all expense vacation in July of 2011. We wanted a good seafood dinner one night, so we chose Crabby Mikes Calabash Buffet. I am still wondering where they got the recipe for the hush puppies. They were the best I have ever tasted. Everything I ate was great.

My family has eaten at Crabby Mikes for years. Always enjoyed it...until this past Thanksgiving. My sister in law has breast cancer and was not well enough to go out for dinner. She asked that we bring her a baked potato back to the hotel. After we finished eating, we asked the server if we could buy a plain baked potato. After checking with the "manager", we were told we would have have to buy a complete dinner. I approached the "manager" and asked again, explaining the circumstances. He was extremely rude and refused to let us buy a baked potato. Sorry Crabby Mikes, that is poor customer service and just plain mean. Anyway we ended up paying our very large bill and went to Wendy's for a baked potato.

My family was called liars by management. When I told the waitress my son had not eaten any crab legs she sent over a manager. When I tried to explain to him I had given him a claw to play with after I had eaten the meat he told me it could not be placed on the back on the bar after it had been handled. He did not listen and then proceeded to tell me his waitress had worked there for 2 years and had never lied to him. In other word; my family was lying. I was very insulted and paid even though he tried to pacify me by taking the charge off. Our total was $150.00 and $8.00 would not make a difference; but calling patrons liars definitely does. This was supposed to be an enjoyable evening for my family; but I am still upset. If you have children; beware of this place.

We have family in Myrtle Beach and have eaten at many seafood buffets over the years. Crabby Mike's has one of the best and is our new favorite. I go primarily for the all you can eat crab legs, and it's worth the money to get fresh crab legs that they bring out every few minutes. I didn't even go and look at the rest of the food because between the salad bar and the crab legs I got more than my money's worth.

As Surfside Beach locals for 50 years now we have tried about every restaurant in the area and Crabby Mikes wins the prize for the best around! The food is always steaming hot and the Crab legs snap open with the crispness of an excellent delicacy. With so many items to choose from we always leave well=stuffed and extremely satisfied. We observe the owner, Mike, and Manager, Tom, overseeing an inspired, attentive staff. Both are extremely nice and eager to please all who enter. We eat at Crabby Mikes sometimes 2 to 3 times a week. You will not be disappointed in your meal here. The bad reviews are obviously from competitors wanting to steal his business or from people who aren't used to eating at quality buffet restaurants and are looking only for a cheap meal.

My husband and I have been going to Crabby Mikes for several years. Everytime we go we go at least 2 times in one week, sometimes more. The food is very good and the crab legs are wonderful! The crab legs have just the right amount of "snap" to them and the right amount of salt, the meat comes out in one piece and very seldom do you have to pick the meat out of the shell. The hushpuppies are to die for along with the other seafood they serve. The waitresses are very kind and helpful along with giving good service. We always tell our friends to go there when they visit, the price is very reasonable when compared to other seafood restaurants. We will always go there and nowhere else in Myrtle Beach! Once you go you will never go anywhere else for seafood!

I don't consider myself a "food snob" but when I pay $26 for a buffet, I expect the quality of the food to be good and palatable. YUCK! Thats how I would describe the food. We just finished our meal here and I feel like I should have just walked in and gave them $53. My kids liked the mac & cheese and the ice cream and thats it (they are'nt picky eaters either). Save yourself time and $$$ and go somewhere else.

We stopped in for dinner on March 16h, we have heard good things about Mike's and wanted to check it out, we were not disappointed, we had a party of seven and were seated right away, our server was Shana and she could not have done a better job, the food was all very tasty and warm, not as though it has been sitting out for hours, the Buffet was slightly on the pricy side at $26.99 each, but it was found to be very reasonable after I think I tried everything at least once, and all seven of us walked away very full!!! I would recommend Mike's to anyone, and when I come back to Myrtle Beach, I will be going there again.

Don't waste your time going here and paying $30 a person to eat bad food, Service is lousy, food is left under the heat lamps until it turns to rubber. Crab legs are dolled out at their pleasure. If you want to stand around like a begger child, then come on down and join the the large number of people waiting to grab the next pan full that they bring out. Do not trust them to honor the coupons. Everyone must be together to be seated, we had someone changing a diaper out at the car when we were called after waiting for quite some time. They did not seat us until that person was with our group about 5 minutes later. So after waiting for about 50 minutes we were 10 minutes late for the coupon, Management just laughed at us. We will not go back when they reopen next week and since my party of 5 had 3 people who are local and work in the hospitality area I can assure you we will never recommend this place to anyone

Went to Surside Beach last week-end. Crabby Mike's is a great buffet. We (my 2 sisters and I) went two days in a row. We did not have to wait inline at all to get inside and be seated the first trip; but, did have the beeper the second time. About a 10 minute wait. Didn't have to wait except for one or two people to move at the buffets. We thought the crab legs were delicious and plentiful. The fried shrimp and oysters were cooked "just right"; the cold salad bar was fresh. We really don't have anything negative to say. We'll truly go back.

The food was good and crab legs are included with every buffet purchase, which added a few dollars to the price of course, BUT we showed up about 5 minutes after they opened. This was 3:30 in the afternoon and they were already completely packed. I waited in line at the buffet at least 10 minutes each trip, there was always plenty of food however and the food was very good. The waiters were prompt and attentive, the place was clean, but noisy since it's a very large place. When we left an hour later the entire parking lot was packed and about 50+ people were waiting just to get inside. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant but only if you are patient, the food was very good and the all you can eat snow and king crab legs would get just about anyone to wait a while in line, and oh were they delicious.

Meh. Having been to several MB area buffets, Crabby Mikes is currently in last place. The crab legs were fine, but everything else was a weaker version of what was available elsewhere. As long as Giant Crab and Captain George's are open, we probably won't be returning to Crabby Mike's.

Long wait to be seated forpoor quality , over priced food. Strictly a tourist trap. Food is cold, greasy and the buffet stations are messy. They must count condiments, salad dressings ,salt and pepper, and water to get 120 items. Do yourself a favor and try Ryan's instead. You'll save a ton of money and have a much better buffet style meal.

Worst buffet ever! I recently visited Crabby Mike's on a family vacation to the beach because some of the family members just love the food here, I have no idea what they love about it either. This "120" item buffet is about the same size as a normal buffet but with 5 times the seats, meaning less food for everyone else. Almost every piece of seafood tasted the same, some items didnt even have a taste. I ate better shrimp and scallops on my last deployment to Iraq! People who are writing good reviews have to be crazy, this was the worst $25 I have ever spent in my life.

Me and my husband were at Myrtle Beach for our 25th wedding anniversary. We asked for the best crab legs and were directed to Crabby Mike's. The wait was an hour long, but it was worth the wait. They have the best crab legs and crab cakes in the world. I am not a real fan of seafood so I was skeptical at first but everything on the buffet was great. We will be going back in September and visiting this wonderful place again. I highly recommend Crabby Mike's, also the kids love the music outside.

I've been to this place three times over 5 years. Each visit is worse than the last. The fired items all taste the same. The seafoods is blah. The shrimp are small, overcooked and tasteless. The price is way too high. Two of my three visits did not have crab legs as a buffet item. The salad bar items are usually fresh and edible. Service is slow to non-existant. Go anywhere else on the Grand Strand to get better food.

My husband always has to have at least one trip to Crabby Mike's when we visit Myrtle Beach a few times each year. They do need to lower prices for children because if we had children that would be the deciding factor in us not going. The cheapest thing they have on the menu is $17.99 and that is for a plate of Flounder which most people goes ahead and get the buffet because of this.We sat and watch knowing they bring in a huge amount of money daily. It is great food just pricey. Its sad that not everyone that would like to go there can afford too.

My family takes an anual trip to Myrtle Beach and the one event we keep constant is a dinner at Crabby Mike's Calabash Buffet. Upon arriving at "Crabby Mike's", we have always recieved friendly service along with hasty seating. The times we have waited, due to the popularity of "Crabby Mike's", there has always been entertainment (music, games, etc.) and even service outside of the resturant. The food is very fresh and well prepared. Also, there is food for children and those who do not eat sea food. The resturant is extremely clean and kept up. The noise level is a bit loud, but that is to be expected at a popular resturant. It is a fun and friendly environment! I would refer it to anyone.

Our family goes to Crabby Mike's every year and takes advantage of the "early bird" discount specials. The food is kept fresh and presentation is wonderful. Since our children were small (now teenagers), Crabby Mike's is the only restaurant they mention by name to want to eat when we are at the beach.

Keeping it short the buffet was $24.99 per person for a seafood buffet that had very little seafood on it and had more southern cooking than anything. The taste of the food was below avg. NO WHERE NEAR THE COST! Red Lobster is much better and cheaper. There was a group of 5 seating by us on the right that said, "it was a big waste of our money" the group of 5 on our left had a pipe that started leaking on them and had to be moved to another table. Don't waste your money or time.

We go every time we're in Myrtle Beach & we've always enjoyed the experience! There's a great selection of food, literally something for every taste, it's always been well prepared, tasty, fresh and delicious. The kids enjoy the music, dancing & hula hooping while we wait to be seated. I really enjoyed the shrimp & scallops, the prime rib was good, everybody else loved the crab legs. The wait staff has always been attentive & there's no lag time between refills on iced tea or drinks. Even when the place was packed, the staff was right there taking care of us. The buffet is well worth the money. Can't wait to go back when we get our next vacation! We will return again & again!

This was such a disappointment. We should have heeded the warnings from other reviews. The stuffed crab was burned and the rest of the fried food tasted as if it had been cook in the same fryers the burned stuffed crabs. The crab legs were good and some of the deserts were ok but for $25 I don't think they even came close to being that good!

We make a trip to Crabby Mike's every year while we're at the beach specifically to have all we can eat crab legs, shrimp & oysters. It's a buffet.. so there is a bit of food for everyone (yes spaghetti, prime rib, etc) to please those in the family that don't like seafood. I only eat the seafood and must say that it's the best buffet I've found in or around Myrtle Beach. I always have enjoyed their crab legs. The price is a bit steep if you have children. The wait staff is great about emptying your basket of shells and bringing you clean plates.

Haters- maybe you were rude, maybe something is wrong with your taste buds, idk. Were about southern hospitality down aqui.

My family and I went to the beach last May. We ate at Crabby Mike's...the prime rib was wonderful. I found that for the money, there really wasn't alot of selection. The waitress was rude and we ask to talk to the manager. He was really nice and apologized for her. It was a clean place, but I felt that for a 9 and 11 year old, 24.99 a plate was much too much. They should have a different rate for the children. I might consider going back again for the Prime Rib, but only if they change their prices for the children.

I am a Surfside Beach local and there is only one word to describe this restaurant, "Groase". I at here one time in the 8 years I have lived here and once is enough. The food is floating in grease and c'mon Shrimp, Crab Legs, Scallops, Speghetti. Hmm, which one doesn't fit in the group? They need to decide what they specialize in and stick with it. However, I can certainly tell you, it is not seafood or Italian. The people writing good reviews for this restaurant must be related to the owner. This place is terrible. The group should read Shrimp, Crab Legs, Scallops, Speghetti, Food Poisoning. This restaurant is a disaster.

Our party of 4 visited Crabby Mike's on Saturday, 9/12. Upon arrival we were told the wait would be 45 minutes which seemed extreme for September. In reality, the wait was only about 10 minutes. Enough negative - Crabby's buffet was as good as ever. I personally ate what seemed like a whole tray of fried shrimp and my best friend devoured a ton of crab legs. No one in our party complained about any of the food quality - it was all very good. This is still the best seafoood buffet at the beach.

Best buffet in Myrtle Beach. The crab legs were great, not watery. Everything was fresh. The sauces and dressings are prepared fresh by their executive chef and they taste great. Every buffet is around $20 or more per person, this is the only one worth the money. Our server/waitress was amazing. Clean plates were always on time, napkins and wet naps given after each trip to the buffet, our butter for the crab legs was replaced with fresh each time, drink refills were always offered...it was just perfect. Reading some of these reviews suprised me, since we had great, fresh food and great service. Maybe it's hit or miss?

I have been going to Myrtle beach for over 20 years now and have ate at a wide variety of seafood restuarants over the years until I discovered Crabby Mikes. Not worth the 24 dollars. Only seafood is baked fish with no seasoning. Small scallops and small oysters overly fried. The deserts were lower quality than a mom & pop restaurant. The prime rib was excellant but forget about everthing else. Also, for 24 bucks you are packed in like ants. I have yeat to find ANY real seafood in Myrtle Beach. Next trip will be to Panama City on the Gulf of Mexico where REAL seafood can be found in abundance.. Dissatisfied...

We're staying up in Sunset Beach NC this week and wanted to try somewhere new. Our old favorite restaurant was no longer operating so we gave Crabby Mike's a try. It was about a 50 minute drive from Sunset Beach, we got there about 7PM and our party of 8 was seated immediately. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful as we had 4 kids with us ages 5 and under. The variety of seafood was excellent. Frog legs, crawdads, crab legs, three or four kinds of fish, oysters, scallops, clams, etc etc - very good food and reasonable prices. We will be going back. Adults were $24 and kids under 7 were $5 or so. Well worth the drive to Surfside Beach.

Ok, let me start by saying that this will be our families 4th trip to Myrtle Beach this coming June. We have been to Crabby Mike's Buffet every year. It has been outstanding. It is a great place for a family. Our kids are 9 and 7 and they love it as much as my wife and I. My wife works in the restaurant business and I am a delivery driver to many restaurants, so we think it is very interesting the way people criticize a number of restaurants in Myrtle Beach (or anywhere) that we have enjoyed. Our opinion is that people want the GOLD when everyone else enjoys the vacation.

The staff is always eager and courteous. The food is always GREAT and the restaurant is clean. We eat there at least once a month and plan to as long as they are there and we are able. I was actually pregnant at the time and I thought it was the best crab joint. Plus they have a lot of extra items on the buffet for kids, totally awesome!! And as far as the price, I didn't mind, I mean come on we're at the beach, of course we came to spend money and have a good time!! I would recomend Crabby mike's to anyone, And my family and I will be back down in August And will be eating there.

I have been coming to Crabby Mikes for several years while on vacation. a few times we even trveled to the area just to be able to enjoy your restaurant. I have never been unhappy till last night. IT IS A BUFFET, I understand that, so certain concessions are extected as to the quality of food. But after last night.......I will never return because of the problems encountered. #1 Service...yes, but not with a smile or pleasant attitude, our hostess was just short of rude.#2 Food...The shrimp our table had (6 people) were cooked much too long causing them to be mushy. Even the chilled shrimp were over cooked. Maybe it is becausse of the off-season or the amount of traffic you have, but the food was of very poor quality when it was consumed. I know I am only one voice, I have been a cheerleader for your businessin the past and have always recommended you to my friends and aquantences. Last night that all changed. I have always felt your charge to be fair, if the quality was there, but it wasn't !

My husband and I are so glad we checked out Crabby Mike's for our seafood stop! The atmoshphere was great- very fun and beachy. The clam chowder soup and salad was some of the best I'd ever eaten. LOTS of choices on the buffet! Something for everyone- even those who don't like seafood. The waitress was absolutely one of the best we had ever had. She made sure we were taken care of the whole meal through! We'd definitely recommend this place to anyone.

We were looking for a place to eat dinner this evening. The timeshare had provided some bogo coupons. We selected one from another Calabash style restaurant and found this site while looking to confirm the directions. It had horrible reviews. We then looked at another buffet and found similar reviews. Crabby Mikes was up next with a $2 coupon if you were seated before 5. It had great reviews. We just got back from eating dinner there. The food is great, the selection good. Lots of staff clearing plates from the tables and keeping the buffet refreshed and clean. I would recommend it to others and return there myself.

We had just seen a show at Legends and didn't know where we were going to have dinner. We saw Crabby Mike's as we were driving and decided to give it a try. WOW! We've been vacationing in Myrtle Beach for the past several years and never knew this restaurant was there. The food was excellent, reasonably-priced and the buffet was never-ending. So many choices and everything we ate was wonderful. We will make sure to visit Crabby Mike's every time we travel to Myrtle Beach and will recommend it to any others traveling to the area.

Went to Crabby Mikes for the first time last week, Boy was I surprised!! The food was GREAT. The service was good and the waitress was on top of things. She deserved all the tip money she got. We got there early and the crowd was just comming in good when we left. I was so full I thought I was going to have to be carried out. Our friends was there on tuesday and wanted us to go with them on thursday. That was their second trip fpr the week. I have to say I cant wait to return !!!! Now I wish there was a Crabby Mikes here in NC.

This was our first time dining at Crabby Mike's. While the food was okay we will not be going back. We did not like the layout of the restaurant compared to Captain Georges. Captain Georges is more open and the food is not all contained so close together. The crablegs were good and the rest of the food was okay. There wasn't a good variety of desserts. We will not be going here again.

First we picked Crabby Mike's because I have a son named Mike that saw the billboard(he had to have a shirt) and he would not have been happy anywhere else. But let me say this is one of the Best buffet in the area. Yes you may have to wait(which is fun with the DJ and Hoops.), and yes it is a little pricey but cheaper then the sub par Giant Crab Buffet. My family loves Crab and we ate more then we should have that is for sure. It was hot and plentiful with a good fresh taste. The other seafood on the bar was fantastic, it was not overcooked and had the perfect lite calabash style breading. The atmosphere inside is festive and decorated in a bright nautical fashion. Our server for the night was named Erin, she was fantastic for as much as she was running around like crazy I never had to ask for a drink refill and our bone(shell) bowls where always empty. I was so happy when

We visited crabby mike's for the first time and was very disapointed! I couldn't believe the ratings on this page. Those leaving 5 stars for food obviously have not ever had seafood before. I wouldnt come close to calling crabby mike's fresh seafood. The food was frozen shipped cafeteria food, it wasn't horrible but was NOT worth the money. It cost $110 for my family of 4. I feel that i ate maybe $5 worth. The crablegs were good. Every bit of the seafood was fried. It was dripping grease and was very rubbery. I was surprised at how much of the buffet was not seafood. There was all different kinds of lasagna, pizza, etc. I kept going back up to check to see if the deserts were replenished, and they never were. I thought that maybe going with a rice crispy treat would be safe...not, it too was to nasty to eat. I was hungry when i left, and will not be back.

We visited this resturant after reading the online reviews. We ignored the few bad reviews thinking that those people must be picky because everyone else seemed to love it. Well, we were WRONG! I've concluded that the good reviews here are made be the staff that work at Crabby Mike's and/or their family. Let me give an honest review from a traveler in the area...first, I was wearing white pants, and when we arrived at our seat I nearly sat in something liquid! It was a rough start and a close call but I remained open-minded. I did notice as we sat waiting for our server that there was a foul odor in the air. It was that smell you get when a resturant has not been upgraded in YEARS! It felt nasty! The wooden chairs had sticky stuff all over them. Not like something was poured on them so much as just an old varnish or something weird. Our waiter arrived to take our order, and right away we realized he was going to be sorry. Yep, and sorry he was! Everytime we asked for anything he seriously behaved like it was a problem! I had to wait on him to bring butter for the crab legs because he forgot it; meanwhile the crab legs were getting cold. As for the hot bars, there was NO oysters, No broccoli, the shrimp were fishy, the calm strips soggy, the calm chowder, seafood gumbo, and shrimp creole were HORRIBLE! The prime rib tasted like the smell that comes off the crab legs which by the way was the worst smell. In fact, the deviled crab, and stuffed clam tasted the same way. They tasted like the crab legs smelt - HORRIBLE! I literally tasted of all of these things and more, and gave it a second bite in most cases just to make sure, and it truly as HORRIBLE! I do not know what to tell you positive about this place. My best advice to someone reading this wondering is it good? Should we go spend $23.99 a plate? NO! Go to Sara J's down at Atlantic Beach, and spend a little less and have a GREAT atmosphere, and even better food! They don't have all-you-can-eat but what they serve is quality! We discovered Sara J's last year when we visited here, and loved it! We wish we had gone there instead! We discussed it and hated Crabby Mike's so much we wished we had gone to the Piggly Wiggly on Farrow Pkwy and had a $6.00 plate of sushi! They make it fresh there several times a day complete with soy sauce and chopsticks if you wish. But bottom-line don't bother with these flashy all-you-can-eat buffets. They are over-priced and the food is HORRIBLE! I made that plural because last week we tried Captain George's on 17 across from Planet Hollywood, and it wasn't good either. And it's $28.00 a plate - YIKES! Places we've eaten at that I'd recommend; Sara J's - Atlantic Beach, The Seafood Hut - Calabash, NC (its a short drive really), and if you want a buffet stick with Golden Corral. It's not my favorite, but my husband enjoys it. At least there you can get a decent piece of steak, and a potato and salad. Oh and the Piggly Wiggly Farrow Pkwy for sushi! Good luck, and I hope you choose wisely!

My family and I go to Crabby Mikes every year we love it! We are heading to the beach in 2 weeks and my son and his friend have been talking about Crabbys for weeks now. I find the price very reasonible since I can probably eat 10 pounds of crab legs myself and I'm a skinny guy.The food has always been very hot and fresh and we have never had a bad waiter or waitress one even chased me down in the parking lot to give me my very expensive sunglasses I had forgotten. Talk about service! We highly reccomend Crabby Mikes!

Crabby Mike's has alot of choices but we had to wait in a LONG line getting to the food, not outside the restaurant, but inside! The noise level is REALLY LOUD. This was the loudest restaurant we ate in all week long. It is a little pricey. You pay for everyone to eat crab legs even if you don't. We ate a other seafood restaurants that were better that this one. We will not be returning to this one in future years.

On our last night (June 27,2008) in N Myrtlle Bch we took a drive S to Surfside Bch looking for a "better" buffet and fell upon Crabby Mikes! WOW, what a difference in atmosphere, wait, service, quality & taste of food. We consider ourselves to be seafood experts. We know what we like in the way our food tastes, bottom line. Being used to Chesapeke bay type seasonings (Old Bay to be exact) we look for that in our travels. "We" feel it enhances the food. Crabby Mikes came so very close we would rate it right up there with the Chesapeke Bay food, compared to all the other seafood buffets in the Myrtle Bch area!! When we arrived we found a DJ outside entertaining the waiting crowd, and hula hoop contests for the kids. The hour wait passed so quickly and was so worth the wait. My son & his family all chose the buffet of 120 items, and I had the most wonderful "melt in your mouth" lobster tail! We had the best service and actually felt she had become our friend by the end of the evening. All in all....don't wait until your last night to discover this place. Had we known from the first night we would have eaten here every night and never gotten tired of the place. It blows Calabash's (Benjamins & Bennets), & The Giant Crab out of the water!!!

Crabby Mikes is my husband's and my number 1 favorite restaurant. We love the welcoming atmostphere when we come in the door by the attentive cheerful staff and there is always happy tropical music playing (but not loud) and a very festive fun tropical decorative theme. Now for the food: FRESH and DELICIOUS!!! and LOTS to choose from. YUM! YUM! Btw, my husband's name is Mike also and years ago we were at Myrtle Beach and we saw an airplane fly over the ocean with a banner invitation to Crabby Mikes and husband suggested we go to Surfside Beach and try Crabby Mikes, which we did and we loved it and we KEEP COMING BACK!!!

We had seen the ads on tv all week about how great Crabby mikes crab legs were............wrong! He should go a few blocks up business 17 and take lessons from the cooks at Seafare. Their food was MUCH better. We had hoped to save the "Best for last", but were sorely disappointed. They charged $12 for an 8 year old!!! Our total bill was over $215 and to say we did not feel we had gotten our moneys worth is certainly an understatement.

One last thing....avoid the seafood gumbo unless you like something so salty as to be inedible

Crabby Mike's is definately the best seafood restaurant in the area. We'll be visiting Myrtle Beach in June and it is at the top of our list to dine out. The food is always great and the staff does a great job of keeping the items on the buffet full. Even if you're not a seafood lover or have picky eaters, there's something for everyone there. We usually visit shortly after the restaurant opens, that way there's no wait with small children and you can take advantage of the coupons, then hit Broadway at the Beach or putt putt or whatever!!
