Very good food. I think the food is the real art at this place. The atmosphere is wonderful and the food is as much a work of art as what is on the walls. ref: 9145 |

We have dined here several times and have found the food and service to be excellent. We sat at the Chef's Table this past weekend and enjoyed not only the atmosphere but also the work and care that goes with making the food delicious but also a feast for the eyes. ref: 8550 |

The attitude of wait staff was unfriendly at best, and apparent as soon as we entered the restaurant and continued throughout the evening. The food and presentation was everything we expected with the exception of the Ceasar salad which was watery and tasteless at best. I asked for some fresh anchovies and was informend they used a paste. I could not immagine a restaurant of this calibaer not having fresh anchovies. We expected to have a complimentary dessert or at least a coffee in return for the both of us indicating our displeasure. The dessert and after dinner drinks were first class. As a result, a less than desireable tip was left due to the unfriendly wait staff and awful ceaser salad. We then had to contend with our waiter (Jumpin Jon) comming out into the parking lot to confront the situation. Needless to say I do not believe that we will be back. ref: 6862 |

Go for the art, which is wonderful to behold, and the novelty of having it all around you to enjoy while you eat. The variety and taste of the dishes is above average, but overpriced. I remember the service as top rate, and the wine list is good. ref: 6501 |

We have dined here for many years as a regular part of our vacation. We have even made the 200 mile trip, just to eat here for special occasions, like someone's birthday. Nothing has changed over the years, except unfortunately for the food. This year, the food was at best, average. We were eight guest and each member of our family were very disappointed. Not even the very professional service can offset this condition. Probably will not make any 200 mile spur of the moment trips to dine there this year, but we will definitely try it again one year from now and hope things have retured to the past level. ref: 3504 |

Collector's used to be a special treat for my husband and I. We had friends from out of state a couple of weeks ago and took them to Collector's. What a huge dissappointment. This restaurant used to be one of the best but has deteriorated in its total dining experience. The food was mediocre and expensive. I ordered the scallop cakes, which I have ordered many times, and they had an overwhelming scrambled egg taste. The waitress was not helpful when we had questions about the menu. She was so sloppy with her service that she splashed olive oil on my brand new blouse and never even apologized. The level of noise made it difficult to have conversation with friends. We are taking this restaurant off our list. There are too many others in this area who try harder to earn and keep our business! We won't be back. ref: 2741 |

I make a point to eat here every year when I visit Myrtle Beach. The Ahi Tuna is great and the Beef Carpaccio is to die for. The atmosphere is different then most places at the beach and its more upscale. Great place to go on Friday nights before hitting the clubs. ref: 2561 |

Great food and service. Love the livingroom in the back. Good place to meet for drinks on a first date (or on any kind of date) as the art work can keep the conversation going. ref: 2050 |

This is by far one of the best restaurants in Myrtle Beach. The atmosphere is pleasant, service is great, and the food fabulous. The Scallop cakes and Filet are certainly not to be missed. ref: 2030 |

Great place and decor. Food is awesome. Nice location as well. The wine selection has changed since I last visited. They used to have intriguing, hard to find wines. It remains adequate, but I miss them. Carol Seares ref: 1449 |

We love Collectors Cafe. As condo owners we always bring our guest here as we know they will have a great dining experience. We love checking out all the new artwork and the menu changes frequently. The desserts are to die for. One of the few places you can go for dessert and coffee. ref: 1278 |

This was my first and will be my ONLY dining experience at Collectors Cafe. Although the food was wonderful, the service left much to be desired. The waiter never refilled our water glasses and only came to the table when it was time to deliver another course. But the reason we will not be returning to this restaurant is that the waiter actually had the audacity to stop us as we were leaving to tell us that we had only left him a 10% gratuity and that an additional $18 would make it a 15% gratuity. We certainly did not intentionally leave him only 10%, but miscalculated. We were a party of 8 and although the waiter asked us at the beginning of the meal if we would like separate bills (we said yes); he put all on one bill. I have never had a waiter approach me after a meal and have the nerve to tell me I did not leave him a large enough tip. We should have demanded to speak to the manager but we had another engagement. Needless to say, we will never go back ref: 915 |

Great place for more initimate dinner - you can actually hear each other in this restaurant. Also, fun place for coffee and dessert. If you like Cafe Tu Tu Tangos, you'll like this place - it's just a little more upscale than Tu Tu Tango.

Nice little place to relax, eat a tasty snack, have a cup of coffee or a glass of wine, and walk around looking at the vibrant collection of art. We like this place and stop in whenever we get the chance. ref: 230 |
