Food is good but nothing that could compete with an above average Charleston eatery.

This restaurant is an absolutel favorite of ours. The restaurant is bright and cheerful and very inviting. The servers are always pleasant and very knowledgeable about the dishes they serve. The food is out of this world prepared with fresh herbs, wonderful oils and quite unique compared to other restaurants in the area. The soups are delightful, the entrees always changing and each one better than the other. We take guests there every chance we get. Keep up the good work, Trina!!!

This restaurant is the best anywhere , there raspberry vinegar dressing is wonderful, I went to Franks outback and thought I would get the same dressing but I really don't know what it was but a lot of oil and a smear of raspberry in the bottom of a cup of grease,it was so greasy it made me sick, Chive Blossom restaurant is the best in Pawleys, the owners take great pride in their meals. I won't go back to Franks. I'll stick with the best The only thing they could improve is the use of fresh shrimp instead of frozen, and they need a bigger area, but I still don't care the food is so good.

Overpriced and food is not necessarily inspiring. Nothing I couldn't do at home. Grouper entree (small) for $30.00?? Come on----

We are regular visitors to PI each May and the Chive Blossom is a "must" on our dining list. Trina's adventurous spirit is shown in all her soups as well as her signature Scallop Cakes asnd Orzo Cakes in Tomato Broth. We have not yet visited their new location on the N. Causeway but know that whatever she does in the kitchen will be memorable--in the best way.

Rarely have we found a restaurant that we enjoyed so much. Our son lives in Pawley's and the Chive Blossom is one of his most favorite places. The Crap Crepes were fabulous. any chance of getting the recipe?

They've moved to a new restaurant and Trina's husband, chef PaulKelly, has left Frank's to come add his delicious touches to an already mouthwatering menu. I am working my way through the entire menu but I haven't had a an unpleasant dish yet! My favorites are the Crab Crepes & the Scallop Cakes. The she crab soup is awesome, too!

The Chive Blossom recently moved to 85 North Causeway (the old Orobosa's) and expanded their menu a bit. Still delicious.

My fav's are the She Crab Soup, Crab Crepe or Scallop cakes.

For lunch try the roast beef on ciabata bread with au jus dip.

Actually, I haven't had a bad meal yet there.

Trina & her husband P.K. did a wonderful job renovating the place, it looks fabulous. They have a great staff, too.

So worth the drive from north myrtle. The best she crab soup ever. This was our first visit, it will not be our last. Servers, sharon and cornella were wonderful. I never recommend restaurants lightly. We work to hard for our money, this place gives you the full experience for the price you pay. Trina, congrats..

If you've tried all the other upscale restaurants in Pawleys Island, this little place is wonderful. Last night I had the treat of going to the Chive Blossom for a wine and food tasting party. The wine was fabulous but the food was even better.

We started with eggplant and roasted pepper salsa served on toasted french bread. We then had pan seared duck breast, Lobster and shrimp crepes, oven roasted medium rare rack of Lamb in demi glaze. Finally a homemade chocolate souffle cupcake. I was in heaven! What a treat.

The chef and owner "Trina" introduced herself and explained the pairing of each wine with the dish. The service was excellent. Its small but filled with simple elegance and not overpriced.

Remember that charming little restaurant off the beat and path You either stumble upon it,or through word of mouth discover a locals favorite. Well thats what my wife and I found at the Chive Blossom.

A brick patio leads to cozy well appointed white tableclothe dinning room. We finally found a place we did not have to shout order out!

We met the chef and owner(always a good sign) who oversees every detail in the preperation of our meal.

We had a tasty black bean eggroll appitizer, Grouper, scallops, and a homemade chocolate desert cake warmed. My mouth is watering just thinking about our meal.

It was truley our best dinner in Pawleys Island!

A hidden gem! This was the best food all week. The okra pancakes are a must, as well as the bananna foster cheesecake. As the other reviews indicate, don't be in a hurry. Staff will even prepare dishes for children.Wine list is exceptional also.

If weather permits, sit on the patio and plan on staying a while. The soup sampler as an appitizer is outstanding; if it's not on the menu, be sure to ask your server. Try any special that Trina and Gary may have invented. Don't expect to rush in and out, it's not that kind of place. There's usually only one person in the small kitchen and each dish is prepared to order. Don't expect this restaurant to be a local secret much longer.

WHAT A GEM THIS LITTLE PLACE IS!!!

I am almost tempted to not comment to keep it all to ourselves, but have to share our experience!

Very tiny place, with great ambiance....

The food is outstanding....the scallop cakes and grouper specials are not to be missed.

This food is of much higher caliber than practically anywhere else on the beach.

It can take a while to get served, as there is only one person in the kitchen usually... But its well worth the wait. Enjoy!!!

This place is a hidden gem! They have great variety of daily soups which are made from scratch which are excellent. The quesadillas are good but VERY salty.
