Review: A hidden gem in the white trash dump of Myrtle Beach, SC. This authentic chinese restaurant truly proved to be a hangout for chinese natives. I even learned how the play chinese checkers there. They have developed an ingenius business plan where the price paid is at least two-three times the advertised price on the menu. Not sure if that is a problem with the conversion rate or a typo on the menu. Either way, I'm going back next year, just as blackout drunk as I was this year.

Review: We're locals, but staying in a beach house for the week. We didn't feel like driving tonight, so we decided we wanted someone who delivered. None of us had a taste for pizza, so we searched for Chinese. We've never tried China Dragon out of all of the years we lived here. The lady who answered the phone was very friendly and helpful, the delivery guy was friendly, and the food was hot and delicious. The price for the three of us was under 25$, and we got plenty of food. We were VERY satisfied!! Thanks, y'all!

Review: On April 2nd, I first visited the China Dragon and ordered the pepper steak with peppers for take out.
The steak was awful, like bublegum, and even worse there was a smell on some like it was bad.
The only thing nice I could say was that the place was clean.
I will never go there again.

Review: We had our meal delivered to our hotel. Delivery was fast and the food was AMAZING!! Hands down the BEST Chinese I've every had in my life. This with me a regular on our list of places to eat when we are at the beach!

Review: By far the best Chinese take out around. Always well staffed in the kitchen and very, very fast. Super nice counter person and cooks who really appear to be enjoying themselves. Just called in an order ,arrived at Restaurant 10 minutes later just in time to watch them put it in the box!!!

Review: I'm a local, and get take-out here usually twice a week or more. The Chinese food compares with the best of Chinese places, at astounding bargain prices. The reviewer of 1/17/07 had to be writing about another place, because MSG is never used here! Note that EVERYONE else gives the food 5 stars. I can't recommend it for eating in, but for take out or delivery, it the BEST! The cooks obviously take real pride in their work, and its almost magic how fast the orders are prepared while maintaining such quality.

Review: Best Chinese on the beach...my husband and I look forward to have it everytime we come down... YUM!! We order two combination platters and it is dinner and lunch the next day. A lot of great food always right and SUPER friendly!!

Review: The food is wonderful, I have yet to taste better Chinese food. The food comes fast, is reliable and the quality is always excellent. I am a regular to the resturaunt and unfortunately when I am out of town I cannot go anywhere else without being dissapointed!

Review: The best Chinese take out in the MB area. The only place we've found that's comparable to the best San Fran and New York take out Chinese joints. Not spectacular since it's a take out place but very dependable and excellent.

Review: I thought the food was ok. Not great. The Egg fu Young was so heavy on the MSG it didn't taste like anything but salt. I couldn't even eat it. The other foods were pretty heavy on the MSG also but they were a little more edible. We ordered four different dishes and they all pretty much looked and tasted the same (so that we didn't know who's was who's) except the orange beef which did have a slight orange flavor. I won't eat there again. The people were really friendly and maybe we just got them on a bad night but I can't recommend going there.

Review: The best Chineese take out in N. Myrtle Beach. Super fast delivery also. I had Sesame Chicken and my wife had Shrimp Egg Foo Young. Her egg foo young is the best I have ever eaten and my chicken was great also. Very good egg drop soup also. You can't miss eating at the China Dragon!!!

Review: A friendly and customer oriented restaurant.We've used their delivery service many times and also ate in and picked up.Always quick service and wonderful Tso's chicken.A ll the food I've tried here is great.Working night shift in NMBch we often had them deliver to us.Yum!

Review: Don't let the appearance and the location of the restaurant deceive you. This is freshly prepared Chinese food at its best. Particularly good are the lunches and a great value too. Ample portions and fast and friendly service. The curry dishes are just right - not too hot. This is mainly a take out place with little atmosphere, but great food. Very budget friendly too. Everything we have had there is delicious. Try the beef with broccoli, the steamed dumplings (8 to an order) and the GeneraL Tso's chicken. Yum!
